JOE: Thank you for the personal invite to your concert tour! I signed up for the mail, and it suprized me. I'd love to get to a date when your in the bay area, which the mailing provided. I will work hard to come up with transportation and funds to make it to a show. I'd still like to get a back stage pass to get a picture of you w/my guitar. Steve Vai sent mail about his tour as well. Now I just have to find the page DCK has for his interviews, and finnish my review of T2J cd for the week end. Oh, yea...study for school , too. It will be a while before I can get back to Steven's place (Wilde) so'os we can record more. My car overheated and burned up the heater core! Yea, find a heater core for an 88 corsica................. Despite, no complaints. This music stuff is great fun. Rock on virtuoso!!! KTF

Pete Mulas: Thanks again for the help with our album (ATN). It's really cool to be lumped with a great player such as you. I've notice many links from your site or a site that we both are on that has both of our links to our albums! God Bless T2Jers.

JJ: sorry to hear about your journal....I'm in school and appreciate the hard work! I'm not a journal maker, but I can imagine all my notebooks of original songs being soaked!!! I hope you find a happy moment in all of this. Tommorow will be better. If you want to pass some time, Please leave a review for ATN for us at the bottom of the page at cdbaby.com/cd/abovetn. I'd love to hear what you've got to say. I know that Steven (Guitarist extrodinare) would love to hear something positive right now too. He's having a hard time with his condition. I think that this new flu strain is hitting him hard and messing up some of his meds. Opticalstudio: Hang in there buddy. If anyone can bounce back , it's you. Besides, whom will record me? Hang on Florida!!!

T2J Review!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "ESYF" Dave Watkinson's tastey Multi-dementional guitar layerings and tight drum vib was an excellent choice for the first cut. I got lost in the melodies and reggie type rhythm breaks. A Virtuoso style hammer-on slug fest. "Dark Koridorz" Mark London's Jungle drum, guitar onslaught give the "whammy" enthusiast the best of to date on this suprizing cut. He sets in motion a tension most guitarist yearn to emmulate. "Darkness" Chris Peters soulfull piece takes the listener to new ground with legato well thought out and performed. There's a meaning to his feel to the guitar. "Total Joke" gives Joe a big hand shake with Pete Mulas's song. Pete has a better that virtuoso's feel to his playing that exudes "Fun." Austrailia's Joe, Steve, and Eric Johnson all in one. His personality really comes thru with each break. "Room 13" Dan Kokol's instalment rolls easily off the ear and uses a great "Hook" to captivate the listener. Excellent use of silence and legato technique lavishes this track. "Another Day" Graham Shackelford's Bass oriented song will appeal to the "Stu Hamm" lovers every where. Graham has a personal uniqueness to his style. Perfectly placed on the album for its content, the feel of this offering gives the album a "classical" sofistication. Cont............

"X" Christopher Thompson's song shows a virtuoso's doubling effect. He is great single and his pention for tracking really opens up the excitement on this cut. "Our Blood On Thier Hands" Paul Clark's offering shows his attention to detail for everything he knows about music and guitar. Progressively weaving his musical tale in sweet keyboard backed full range legato "Moments." Truely he has a special talent for finding "Emotion" to his musicality. Songs of this duration can easily become Fatuiging, but not this cut. It says all it needs to say and still leaves you wanting more...but says its story quite expertly. "Cerulian Love Song" By Keith Lochte gives a playfull treatment for his cut. I can hear Stevie Ray Vaughn in this. Still the personality of this player comes thru with shinning colors. He weaves a total "Jam" to his playing. Cont...........

"Searching" Chris Woodland's offering changes the album to a different pace. Bruding and Mistical he opens up a soaring guitarists dream. It was easy to get lost in the tones of this effort. "Klod's Logic" Paul Ayers open romp slips and slides to near "Police" type meldoies. Full and bright guitar soloing highlights this track. This one leaves me smiling. "The Rock Song" Matt King's group "Course of Evolution" has a new "Classic" here. Music is in great hands if the rest of the Younger T2Jers emmulate Matt. He has a awsome since of style and timing. I have always been impressed with Matt since I met him online here at T2J. "Railroad Jam" Miguel Pais' song rocks out with a cool bass line setting up his guitar virtuoso wha-wha. The harmonic content is lush and full. I can just hear his guitar "Talk." Cont...............

"Xenon" by Bill McKim adds a carefull tention to this next track. He has a style that climes a ladder, effortlessly. Tension seems to evolve to "Play" for the song with Wonderfull colors of tone encircling his melodies. "Finally made it Home" by Barrie Poole finds a beautiful swirling melody and harmony. Wonderfull moments to this track with many tones of many guitars coming in and overlapping each other. "From The Heart" (The Start) The Tranz-siberian orchestra meets Tool. Alexandro Ceatano has a better feel and execution to his craft. Heartfelt emotion to this track. Legato style guitar prowes illuminates a deep forboding to elation for this journey. "Above and Beyond" Arron Mowlie's cut shows us this guitarist has a great feel to his playing. His up into the clouds soloing takes you to the height of the sky and back for a carefull, skillful landing.

I hope any of this review is helpfull to the wonderfull artist that appear on the T2J album. Forgive any spelling mistakes and incompleete sentences. I wanted you all to know how much I enjoyed this album. No words could ever say what it means to me what you've done here. I will listen to this album for a long time. You should be proud of your efforts. I mean, why would Joe bother to put a link to your album here? You deserve the help. Joe: Cool stuff. I know why you have shown such interest. Who could ever say anything against you for being so helpful to this group of guitarist and musicians. Itlis is still my new favorite, and this one is right there with you. God Bless all. DCK: you are entirely welcome! OPCS470: I'm never sure if people are mad at us, or our talent...or for just trying. Hunker down and keep your recordings in a safe. You stay safe , too. Delfino Pie: Thanks for even responding. Baddah: hang in there. We're getting some more music together. Opticalstudio: I will see if I can get the car fixed, but for now I have a new lock for the bike, a new pack for the books, and some new contact #'s from my re-hab lady to investigate. have "Fun" with the info you are learning. It won't mean mush if you don't "feel" the fun of the new stuff. You've given me 10 cd's so far, and we just got started with the new info. I will practice the dvd, and get working even harder on those scales!!! KTF Randell

Ovation1: I won't find anything about Cliff untill after the holidaze. I will be sure to send a note. Thanks again for your help and support. Opticalstudio: I will see if my mechanic can bypass the heater core in the car to make it work. Maybe then I can get on the road again. I'm still working on the John McCarthy stuff to get it down, and will practice untill I fall asleep. I do have to do my home work. Alot of reading for a guy with only one good eye. No problem, I will just wear my reading glasses. JOE: I've got to say you really have a way of getting people to excell to a higher level to keep up with you. I love this stuff! Break a leg this holidaze at that Bone bash! I will see what I can do about getting to the december gig. Peace out. KTF Randell

Sandra: I have had guitars stolen , too. I'm sorry that U had to have that happen to you. Joe, Steve, and others here have gone thru this as well. If the thieves would just understand that it's like kidnapping a child...........but I doubt that they care. Just think, you have an opportunity to get a better one if your careful about your purchase. If the old one can be found.....best of, on that one. You might get lucky if you have any idea whom may have had access to it. Still, they can't take the player out of the person. If I could, I would loan you my steel string......God Bless ATN KTF Randell

Check out the monthly and daily hits and click on the links to see where they came from, you will be suprized. Tony has opened up some new areas of your brain. Now get used to using them so'os you can show me. LOL I love this stuff. JOE: Like I've mention here before, we'll have to put together a band of all T2Jers that play and call it "G- whiz"!! Vrocker/Stu Clone: you are both entirely welcome! I just cherish that you both (All of you actually) got to be on this disk. I can hear a individual voice from both of you. "I love this stuff!" Civgeek: Thank you for the help with the suggestions for my heater core problems. Due to my diabetes, The toxic nature of turning wrenches has me freeked. I can do it, but I will have more than average problems with the chemicals and reactions to them doing it. I could "Pay" a mechanic, but 7years w/out work takes it's toll. Now if I can just get the hoses off............I'm in Dublin, CA Much more hot here! Just like my home town in Washington state.... JOE: This Tony Burnett stuff is kinda cool, but you know this stuff already. Did the Bone Bash turn out cool? Sounds like it did from what I hear on the radio here. You're the best!!! KTF

DANNYK: When it gets to happen, I hope that ATN and you, (among others) will have a chance at a new T2J cd. I would like to see two such disks. One of the same artisit as this one, and a new one of other players like you and me! Lets let THIS one devlope how it will, and be ready for a new one. It may take a side project with new leaders to get it going as to not "Overload" the principals of the project. I guess we would have to call it "G-Whiz" after all!!!! LOL. Your Nominated! JOE: You hear that! That gives me faith that there will be even more projects to honor you coming in the future......Neat! I hope we don't burn your ears out. Not likely. Jam on people. OPCS470: Yes I would like your url for your music. I may have you on my "Favorites" but with my old comp, I may need it again. I found "Clarky's" the other day. Yet another cd i need to afford. The T2J review was promted by ATN's friend Ovation1 giving us a detailed review personally in E-mail and I realized just how "usefull" it was to Steven and me. I also glad the the T2J community can come up with some jockular stuff for a change. I'm still smiling!!. Glad to hear all are safe and sound after all the depressing news out there. Ovation1: Cliff is okay...concidering what has happend to him. Now he's at home with home hospice. Give him a while, he'll bounce back. I miss him. The crew sent word to him. Thank you (from him) for the concern and well wishes. He's not really into computers being a old school grafic artist. He did alot of the gold leaf lettering for many businesses in the bay area. JOE: What a hectic shedule, but satisfying for U. Stay healthy and happy out there! KTF Randell

OPCS470: I do have you on my "Favorites." I can see you with your red steinberger on stage doing bidexteral hammer-ons! I have big hands and only use that when I get tired. I'm working on changing that habit. I need to make it "Mine" to be a better legato player. I have a tip for some players hear....think about dual-dextrous hammer-ons! What's that you say? Alot like the Doobie Brothers "Long Train Runnin'." Now think in alternate dual hammer-ons with both fingers on one hand !!!. I will have to figure out how to say that better to explain it one day. back to reality. I've got to study for school now. Peace, KTF ATN.

Opticalstudio: Steven I was WRONG! We have a total of 1307 "Hits" on our cdbaby sight so'os the next 1000 number for us to sell an album was way off. I was off by atleast that much. I shure hope that Alice will get more of her school buddies to post a review on our page(s). I hope that we have interested some of the T2J people who have logged on to leave one, too, if they will. Review for a review. Only fair, I say. Just wait till we get the next one posted. We have some thinking to do on which songs we want to have listenable. Don't want to give away to much. REDJACKBAND: Cool to think that your just finding Joe's music now. Welcome to the T2J community. SAMMY ANDREWS: Give a good search on the comp for more specific info on Tony Burnett. Wolf Marshall might be of interest to you as well. John Mcarthy at rockhousemethod.com has alot of cool stuff, too, with most or if not all these teachers have dvd teaching formats for the public. Check out all you care to. It's all about the learning and creativity! Enjoy. JOE: I have seen alot of new folks on here, and have gotten in discusions of you at school. There is a whole group out there just finding your music. My classical guitar teacher Richard Flores really is into the historical end of the classical guitar, but has some experimental new stuff out there, too. Alot of what he had shown me can be used as a base for any kind of playing....I just needed to learn how to read music proper. He has a section of Tabs he's done for selected songs. Now my interest is in improving my Tab reading...if even just to catch up to all you guys! I still have the course book, which I still pull out from time to time to whip my old stuff into shape. ALL NEW POSTERS Here on T2J: Welcome! Check out the T2J cd and look around at all Joe, and the various other artist here have to offer. You'll LOVE this stuff! KTF

I will look for tips and give you a reivew in e-mail. OVATION 1: You okay man? Have not seen you here for a while....but won't worry about you just yet. I did see that humongous storm you had over Japan! I give well wishes to Florida and Japan now. Be safe you guys. Maybe we should all just move underground. (maybe not in CA) BADDAH: Hope your okay. SUZZY2000: I'm sure that the 2000's are wonderfull, for the stop tail piece guitars that they are. yes you can emmulate many trem tricks on this fine axe, but for clarity, getting the 1200 should satisfy the trem "Monster" in you. You just need to decide (if'in you haven't) what your style will grow to. I hope that helps. It's just my opinion. There are alot of styles and systems out there......KTF
