T2Jers: I went to the "Stork Club" last night. I was there to see THIN ACID ANGEL. They rocked out just fine. You can find them at thier web site @yahoo.com . Impressive grove for a two year old club band. I got a demo, and most of the band signed it for me. Thanks TAA! OPTICALSTUDIO: I sent you some e-mail. Did you send for the "Synth"? Now I'll have to keep up with that, I suppose.............OVATION 1: Hope you're all okay out there in Japan. Looked like a bad storm you went thru. It must be taking time to reconnect to the power. WE miss you. ATN

WEBMASTER: I did get to see the rehersal video. School has it's priviledges! JOE: It was interesting to see you being somewhat hard on your self. That's what it takes to be that good. What's with Galen standing in the shadows....step up man.......we love to see you play, too! Time for practice.......KTF

SUZZY2000: Advice is free and sometime worth that much. That's why I phrazed it that way about the 2000/12000. Don't limit your self when thinking electric guitar. The classical training will help with the style that will become your own on the electric. Did you say your Hubby teaches guitar.....your set then. Take time to look into many teachers as well as your husbands techniques. ATN has done so and have found a lot of worthwhile info, tips and tricks we still use and are learning right now! Rockhousemethod.com is one w/John McCarthy and another is Tony Burnett. I don't have the link to Tony memorized but looking back on T2J posts may reveal the info....or someone here on T2J may tell you. Note: Trem tricks can be emmulated on a stop tail piece guitar(like Night Ranger's Jeff Watson) fine enough. There is no substitue for actually hitting those notes. Best of on your musical journey. KTF ATN

IBANEZ89: If you like I can give some advice on that. I use a peavey csx amp designed for Mains, and I have made a stereo splitter to each channel and run my zoom floor effect into it directly. That way when you buy a power amp for your PA you can use it as a guitar amp when needed. I'm not sure if peavey still makes that amp, but any of the power amps for sound reinforcement should work. Of course the availability will vary in your area. ATN also uses an old "Animal" practice amp in the studio. I redid the cab and changed it to a 2-5" speaker load for my buddy Steven. It rocks. Try many amps out to get a decent sound. I've been extreemly lucky with my amp. I got it 'cause it is just one rack space and I needed the room. Check some of the things I said to suzzy 2000, on the guitar thingy. Best of luck what ever you decide. ATN

MARIMARI: COOL! I will look for your photos. CLARKY: This was a band from canada. A three guitar band. "Sign of the gypsy queen" and "Twenty first century scitsziod man" was some of their songs. Sorry about the spelling! SUZZY2000: Don't leave your self short on the teacher thing. The more the marryer, but I suppose you don't want to overload your self right away. Have fun with it and do it when it feels appropreiate. Rock on sister! OVATION 1: Mike, I have been out of it as of late with car problems and all. I also had to drop being in the state rehab vocational stuff because of my foot taking so long to heal. Now it's all up to me to find work, for now. Check out some of my old posts anout new bands and stuff. Thier web site is an "Iuma" set. Rock on ! KTF

I hope you got to hear what Steven and i are doing now. I have had transportaion troubles, so'os i have not been over to Stevens to record for a while. We are working on scales and such, as well as trying to get folks to post a review on our site. A few students from school have helped, and i am concentrating on gettting more who have listened to write one. Thank you for your posts!! All info on what the fans love helps us decide what to produce for you all. WE try to keep up with Joe, of course!!! JOE: I loved the "Listening Party." It is so good to hear your voice now and again. You won't find anyone out there doing it any better that you! KTF

OPTICALSTUDIO: You are having trouble with your e-mail. Try to bring your allen wrenches with your guitars!!! I may have some that fit....but just in case.......ZENFISH: Have you heard of Matt Gonder? He's a french singer that did the french version of "Der Commissar". Let me know. JOE: It looks like I won't be working any time soon. The rehab (Vocational) is stearing me to other services to acquire income. First on the list of extras for me, premium tickets!!! I just have to figure out the paper work to get the ball rolling. Then I can get a decent car and look for open mikes. KTF

OPTICALSTUDIO: Carol loved talking to your Dad. I'm glad I could solve your stringing problems. You were right, the allen wrenches didn't help the e-mail thing!!!! LOL MARIMARI SRV: Do you do shoots of Independant Bands? I'm sure ATN would LOVE to have you do a shoot for us. WE will have to save for the date though. Keep in touch. JOE: The band "Bowling for SOUP reminds me of my old friends back in the day. They have a fun style. The drummer even looks alittle like my friend did (Back Then). I really like the vocal songs you did on ITLIS. Your whole personality in each song comes out that way. Thanks! KTF

SUZZY2000: If you could give ATN any advance notice that would be preferable.....We'd love to have a shoot done by U. U will love seeing Matt jam! It will be an infectious experience. Nothing like being there to see it all go down live! BADDAH: I have found the tape in question, and will make haste to give it back to Steven to copy. I just have to figure out how to get to Steven's. I had thought he had a copy, but it musta gotten lost or has some flaw that makes it un-usable. Take care. CARKY: Wonderful description of engineering an album. Steven and I , in the past have taken the stereo signal out of our ZOOM processors and double tracked the cannels. That way we get separation, and only have to play it once to get the double effect, sorta. it's worked very well so far. It is better to have it separated, so'os a player can do what you've instructed. That has an even better full sound. KTF Steven and I still play Rogue Squadren (sp)

SUSIE2000: What were you so ????about? BADDAH: I will try to help if I can. It's best to have a teacher right near you, but with all the teaching dvd's you should check them all out, at your leasrue. I will attempt to answer any questions. The best I can do now is get you the vhs, so'os you can learn from Joe! What better way. Not only look as to where (Both) hands are but how he stands, and how he uses his floor effects. Good luck. JOE: Danny put up a cool link to a universal site about you. It's just a brief description.....with links to here. Now if we can just find your stolen guitars........KTF

OPTICALSTUDIO: Hang in there my friend! Mid trems are a bother, for both of us. I need to get the work done. Just remember to "count your blessings" and try to realize that no one else can pass you. Your'e just to fast to pass. Keep in mind all the stuff you've learned recently and how many instruments you've done that for!!! Keep in mind I have done all this myself, untill I met you. At least we have each other to work with. Things will get better, and the open mikes will wait for us. This is one way music is NOT like racing. Perserverance wins out in the long run. How fast you go does not mean long lasting. I'm still here with ya. Randell KTF

Hey Satch land! I have been studying hard and getting ready for the finals. Sorry to hear that opticalstudio's dads car got hit by a hit and run! MATT KING: I figured you were mucho busy with C.O.E. Good to see some posts from ya! Howdy BADDAH: I'm still here! Howdy everyone else. I hope you all have had wonderfull music to listen to or play whilst I've been busy. ATN has a new web page. New music can be listened to there, but keep in mind there are some faux-pax on the page. There will be a breaking in time untill we learn to get it right. Thanks to all who have logged on to listen. JAZZY: Thanks for all your help and interest! Steven has really gone all out with his guitar learning/techniques. Enjoy, I do. JOE: I love this Tony Burnett stuff. John McCarthy and Tony together makes a top learning curve for us(and others). Your still the one who got me into trem work. I hope you have some time to have a break once in a while. Your tour schedule is grulling. Fun and popular! Peace KTF
