JOE: I am glad that you are okay! Very risky to work w/neumonia (sp). Best to you and the band. I have been busy with all the world has had happening. Thanks to all who sent well wishes for Steven. he had a cascading seisure recently but has snapped back quickly this time despite the severity. I got a chance to go visit and check on him. He's amazing! MIKE-ovation1: I am concerned for you and japan with a tsunami warning of your own! Give us a note when yoyu can and let us know how your doing now. MATT King: Long time, old friend. I'm in a music appreciation class now at college, so'os all of you from t2j that play may have a few more people logging on to your sites soon. God bless every one. Stay as safe as you can. Randell

JOE: Great things are happinin'. I'm so glad that there is a force of guitar rock like you out there. I run into such diverse likes of music where I'm at. So many do not understan just how good music can be, with the exception of a few on your site. Steven and I have put in our entry for a chance to be on the next Tj2 project. We will see (in time) if it will be accepted as a entry for the album. DCK: Steven has been kind down as of just a day or so, but I remind him that it will pass. Hope you are not to swamped to listen to stuff for fun once in a while. I know that when I listen to your music, I ahve to listen for fun first, then listen for content. I usually listen for content if'in I'm going to learn the song. School takes president , for now, but school only lasts so long...... Hello to all t2jers and friends! KTF Randell

CIVGEEK: Matt Thanks for asking about Steven and Me. We are okay, for the most part. We are excited about our entry to the new TJ2 album next. I wish I could let you hear it right now, but lets just let the album develop over the time it need to.....we still have to go thru the picking process. You can find us and our music at abovethenumbers.com. Sorry I did not put it into a link, I'm still learning that kinda stuff. Regular "Life" in general has been car repair for me, and kinda depressing for Steven. We will get thru it all. We are survivors. I hope you have checked out the first TJ2 album, and hope you have a few Joe albums, too. JOE: Glad to hear you're healthy and happy. It makes a difference to all of us, that you have fun doing the music. It shows in your playing. Stay safe. Randell KTF

JOE: Your playing at the House of Blues in Vegas on the 9th was spectacular! I loved the extra extended version of AWYAWM. No guitarist any where could have put the emotion and heartfelt feeling you did on that song on that night. The trip was an experience, both ways, and a thank you to Sammy and Mari for all the arragements and logistic, to get Steven and I to the concert. I hope you found the "Picks" I thru up to you onstage. I know it's usually the other way around. I could tell you had seen Mari and Sammy in the front row. A couple of time during your solos, both Steven and I looked over to Matt and Galen, and the seemed partially supprised, and perked right up when they noticed us watching them. They do awsome!!! You delivered a hard jam all night and worked for the towels you used! Ha Ha. I think I would have lost quite a bit of weight, if I did your job. God Bless you and the Band. KTF Randell p.s. more on the concert later.....................................................

JOE: I know I have not been on in a long while....I had to get things set for finals.....Now I'm jammin' with a friend from college. Pat and I jammed today and we both learned alot. He has a good sound even with borrowed equipment. I showed him how to run his guitar gear inot his neat prtable peavey PA. Nw all he needs is a boss gt-8! Steven has been having a mixed time of it lately. he had a (small) seisure a couple of days ago. He'll be fine once he stops being sore from it. he has alot of friends now where he lives. They have shown him alot about the programming stuff in the boss 1600. MARIMARI: I'm not so worried about Steven now. he is just having a hard time feeling alone with his dad going to a retierment center soon. He will miss him not being right there with him. I hope your tour has been great to you and the band. Las Vagas was totally awsome! Be safe out there......Randell

Hey all at T2J! Both Steven Wilde and i ahve been going thru some changes as of late. I have been trying to get done with surgery to my feet to correct the ulcerating build-up of bone. the doc's are taking their time, and making sure that they do it right the first time. My oldest Brother just had open-heart surgery and is doing fine, concidering. Steven is gettin used to some new friends, and becoming the principal house "Man" as his Dad is moving to a care facility-retirement home at the end of the month. He misses you all, but has had little time to go on-line. I will stay on him to find some time with his funky schedule. JOE: You are the Best! I find thigs in my playing, and others, that remind me of the Las Vagas concert. That was a "Night." Do you remember the guy in the "Alien" glasses at the house of blues? Keep Rockin' Joe satriani band! More when I get my new comp to work better for me. Randell

Thanks to all who sent well wishes to Steven and me! MARIMARISRV: Thanks again for all you mean to us. Steven is ok, but his living situation is abit....taxing. I do nt have the finances to keep traveling there as much as I like, which is why I want my Doc's to get to it on my surgery's! Then I can find work. MATT KING: Love to see you out there! I have your link on "Favorites". I always have, but now i have a new laptop! Rock on meastro! Thanks to your compliments. 962: Thank you for your well wishes. I always know there are friends out there in "Satchland!" BADHUH: I hope things go well for Steven enough for him to get back online and message you, if'in' he's not already phoning you personally. JOE: See, it's good to have friends, even if'in' we share! Rock on vituoso! Be safe all. Randell

JOE: I am now using my Peavey csx amp with some radioshack 10" and dual hi freq in old rs Nova 6b cabs with porting. The 10"s are sub woofers/stereo-wired mono that put out 100 watts each. The hi-freq are dual peizos that handel 150 watss each. My amp runs at 8 ohm 110 watts rms perside stereo. I use my zoom/art processors-both stereo for a full stereo field! I love it. I mounted some professional banana plugs in each cab so'os I can use heavy 16 guage wire for the speakers. Peavey Rocks! I wnet and recorded a friend today and he did well for the experience. Patrick can jam even at 5 years expeience on the instrument. He has some good phrazing. Now if'in' I can get a new bridge for my dxmg for my B-day, I will be doing great. Stay safe out there. Randell

(sp) He did have Obie-wan over his shoulder saying...use the fork -Luke, Use the fork! LOL JOE: I have been talking with my doctors about surgery for my feet. They have balkedon it, as any thing they do will be perminent. The need to remove some bone so'os I can get back on my feet again and work. I will find out in a couple of weeks. MATT KING: your new stuff has real personality to it! I'm still giving it a listen and will give you more , later. STEVEN WILDE: Stay safe over there buddy. i know that things can be tough, but who could handel it better? Your putting together some very rememberable songs now- you always have-and we have to get these newest cuts out there. I will drop by wednesday and talk to you about that (spare) sony deck. STEVET: Thanks for asking...Steven and i are just fine. You have read my e-mail so'os you know about my feet. Steven is still living in Alameda and putting up with alot.......He is still writing and recording, just not as much with me since the petrol over here has gotten to 3$ a gallon! Steven has new stuff to post, when i can be enough help to him to get it done. I am just getting tired of waiting for my doctors to make a decision. JOE: Nothing has been the same for Steven or me since the vegas trip....It's wierd for me to think that I have so much experience playing compaired to some, and not enough compaired to others. I am studying my scales and modes, pentatonics and harmonics. I just need to get as good as others on the exactness, just for myself. On the 22 fret VS 24 fretter guitars......ALL guitars have harmonics up to the 36th fret!!! It is a joy to fret to 24....but the front pick-up is just alittle off the 24th harmonic. The (Fat) sound from a 22 frtter is from the pick-up placement. Nothing a bend or an open harmonic expertly placed can't handell. Enjoy both for what they are! Play on satchland! Randell

JOE: I will be in surgery for my podiatric problems this coming monday! I will have the halix of my left big toe removed, as well as the thrid knuckles of the smaller toes on both feet! That should stop the ulcers on my feet so'os I can get back on them(my feet) and work again. Great to hear about all the good stuff DCK and others are having. Rock on all at satchland. Cool to hear you will have signature stuff out there coming 2006! I recently resurected and old GK250 amp and got it to work! It had an intermitten short. I realized that some one lossened the power tranzister bolts! Some heat sinc sillicone and a wrenching of the bolts solved the problem good enough for me to use the amp. Wish me luck. God bless, Randell. P.S. I will check back maybe tuesday ifin' I feel up to it.

JOE:STEVEET:BAHDAH: Thanks for your prayers and well wishes! The operation went with out a hitch. My feet are mangled, for now, but once they heal.......I have not had the $ to get to Steven's to check on him for a couple of weeks. With problems from Katrina, and gas so high, it may be a while before I have control of my finances. I can only be reminded about the population devestated by the tsunami, also. Somalia, the congo, etc. Prayers to all in satchland were-ever on the globe. Mikey-san: you out there friend? After the small tsunami in japan we've been worried. Be safe all! Randell

MICHELL: Thanks for your well wishes for me, and for passing on info to OVATION 1: Happy belated b-day. STEVET: Awsome, thanks for the well wishes, too. GUITAHOLIC: Just mix up some epoxy glue, apply, bind, wait, then play. You may just have to look for a new "investment." But, it should play okay. DCK: You gave good advice-as allways-and thanks for the well wishes! I have seen Scott Anderson in Ibanez catalogs for years....same guy? BAHDAH: ALEXANDRECAETANO: Hello old friends!B- Steven has a tough time with his place of living, but is putting out some really great recordings. He just gets parinoid sometimes. STEVEN WILDE: Hang in there guy, I can't get anywhere just now, but we should see some kinda let up sometime. I gave you a call today, but you weren't answering. call me! Randell Rock on JOE!

Formerly ATN: SUZIE2000: BAHDAH: MARIMARISRV: Look for me as Ibanezplyr now. Same real name-different nick-name. Steven has issues but is a survivor. If he's sending you cd's he's okay. I do wish he could move. I can't get over there right now, and won't be able to for quite some time. $3:00 for gas, and a serious case of frankenfeet are slowing me down. It may be a month or more before I can really walk correctly, and several more before rehab for this surgery is done with me. I got a couple of cd's off to some of my doctors who were interested in our music. he vowed to leave a review. You can too, if you go to the "AbovetheNumbers" dot com. Right at the bottom of the page you can click on an album, and from there, the bottom of those pages has a link to leave comments. Thanks all for the well wishes, they mean quite a bit to me. God bless. Thanks for being a inspiration JOE!

DCK: MARIMARISRV: BAHDAH: Thanks! I am taking very good care of my 'franken-feet.' I do have to have them re-wrapped this thursday.......My friend Patrick is looking for saddles for his C1 shecter bridge. It's like the gibson tunamatic original bridge. I think he wants some metal ones....I hope Steven W is okay. I know that his evironment is grating for him. I guess know one recognized my SOTD suggestion....oh, well. Maybe I should have gone with Young's "Like a hurricane." JOE: I have gotten the little GK amp to settle down and work properly! Now I have cannel switching. I still use the zoom for the ds-1 patch, and the pedal-wha. I did have to back off the output volume so'os I did not have so much intermodulation distortion.......Hope your having a great time out on tour....or writting...which ever your doing now. I'm still listening to Time macine, and sbm. Your still awsome! Rock out! Randell

Typoons and all.......I am still remembering all the cool songs you played last April in the House of Blues! I loved the vocalset! I love your singing. Your songs would not have that special personality with out your vocals. Your guitar has it's own special voice as well! I loved hearing that "Pearly gates" pickup on your "Donnie." JOE: my hope is your out writing music. There has been such a huge disturbance of the force lately. I had a dream a few days after the gulf coast disaster, where all the animals thought we were trying to kill them! I was running a "Underground" to get them out. Strange. I can only think that that's close to how the musta felt......I listen to Dog/earring.... That calmed me down. My favorite song right now is "Crazy." Not that I don't like any of your songs. I also hope you get to have some fun while on any breaks you get. Just don't break anything. It's really good to hear you do you! That's what the fans love hearing. THanks to all whom left well wishes to me after my surgery on my feet. They are still very swollen, and brusied. I will just have to take it slow. Guitar is still top on my list, now that I have time to practice. STEVEN WILDE: Hope you are happy, healthy, and safe. I found the song we did with Pete the other day. The bass I did for him worked out well. I hear songs on commercials with the same bass setting! KTF Randell formerly ATN(as a nick name only) I'm still in the band.

Kings X: Yahoo! Good band. I used to jam with thier old bass player, Randy Dazey. Good friends with Huey Lewis......JOE: I've notices that you have signature straps and stuff now(thanks to T2J). Are you still using fender picks? I'm still using the dunlop tortex. Various sizes, I can't decide. I use fairly heavy picks for the control. Hope you are getting some rest. Sounds like your getting some new jams ready, too! Don't worry, your new Dvd's and cd's will keep me busy for a while. At least untill your newest comes out! KTF Randell

JOE!!!! Nice to see Blue up there on the board! Any chance you and webmaster will go thru and look at last years song name suggestions for song names for this new album? (Just a suggestion) I remembered quite a few good one's. The creative part of the process is always a fave of mine too. I am not as 'wordy' as most people in this phaze, but I do get some good songs going. Steven Wilde has not lost any talent in his guitar playing or creativity! He may have a difficult time of it, but his new songs have great attention to rhythm, and harmony. I have been impressed with his latest recordings. I am getting better with the (Feet). The hospital had me go to get fitted for new shoes! Maybe next year proper I can start working again! After 10 years, it's about time! Things are getting better. Patrick and I jam from time to time, record, and work out new songs. It's hard for him to work in school, Girl friend, and a new teacher in concord. It's working out okay. We'll see how it all works out once I start working. Time to find a drummer and bassist? To the future! God Bless JOE! Randell KTF

MARIMARI SRV:Steven can't get a hold of you because he no longer owns a computer or a phone! I am getting a hold of him thru a friend at the addy he's still at. I have not had the $ to get over there since "katrina." Steven is still recording and coming up with some really interesting stuff. Even Vai seems tame compaired to his new stuff. Pure guitar crazyness. Merry Christmas (late) and happy new year to all at T2J. I will try to keep up with some of the new posts here, but I only come on weekly now. I'm getting ready to look for work save some new medical proceedures that the podiatrist want to do to me. The latest....."relaxing my accilles tendon" (surgically) to make it so my foot can jenuflex more toward my knee so'os I don't have uncers any more. Kinda tough to sell me after my frankenfoot surgery. JOE: I just go to see your Tokyo DVD! Awsome work. Only one concern: Vai's presence during solo's dropped out a bit on the guitar eq. Still, an awsome jam. Patrick and I were mesmerized. Once I start to feel abit better, more reasons to get out there and play! Thanks JS. Randell, p.s. our digital sales for atn have made "Rock Me Gently" our top seller world wide! Who knew a lullaby would be our top song....so far.

MariMariSRV: I do not know if Steven has moved! he may have, but the number he gave me- a friends-did not know who he was???? I would hold off on sending any thing to him snail mail, just in case. I was wondering how he managed to keep his apartment with the rent going up and his $ staying the same. He told me his Mom was helping him with the $. Surgery on my feet went well and has healed...podiatrist want to weaken my right achillies tendon to make my right foot jenuflex closer to my knee....and I'm not biting. Maybe they need to remove the bone in my ankel so'os my foot can physically move that direction. I have new shoes now and am close to being relased for work...if'in' I can find it. MARIMARISRV<BADHUH<OVATION1<STEVEET<ETC Steven Wilde is alive and well in the same apartment you all have the address of. $ has been tight for him, hence selling the comp, and nixing the phone etc....He sends well wishes to all T2Jers! Mari: Excellent work you're doing! Love to hear all the interest in rock. Still practicing that (red) guitar? Don't forget that it has a 9 volt battery in the control cavity that will need periodic replacement......JOE: Good to know you're out there creating new stuff for us all very soon to hear. Keep at it, we LOVE this stuff. Patrick went to LA to check out G.I.T. and has an old music instruction book I have from Howard Roberts......I had looked into goint to G.I.T. back in the 80's and still had the original catalog.
