Webmaster: Thanks Jon!! I will relay the well wishes from you and the band. Soon Steven may have a computer...at least i'm hoping. Ovation 1: Been busy, or did I just miss a post of yours. I guess I should give you some time to listen to the cd...... Steven still is recording, it's just taking him a while to get back into it. He's soooooo eclectic. GottahaveJoe: Bikes were a great source of fun and health for me for many years. I even used to commute by bike. Not now, even though with gas $ at nearly $4:00 a gallon, I will be bike bound to work. God Bless all of you T2jers. Alex C:Awsome!!! Nice axe sir! I can see even more creativity coming from you very soon. I just love my new guitar I got for my B-day today. The GRG170DX is great. I may need to rout out for the bridge so'os I can pull "UP" but I'm making an effort to keep it original for a while. KTF Randell.

Js1200js1000: Thanks for the B-day wishes. Are you thinking of learning how to play? Thanks for being a JOE fan.Bahdah: Yep, The 9th was my B-day. The aneversary of Nagasaki- the last A-Bomb dropped- At least I hope that holds out as far a history is concerned. I got here in 58. GottahaveJoe: Enjoy that bike, but don't wreck or nothin'. I don't want to hear about any more fingers getting hurt. Steven is a long time best bud of mine. We met at Denny's resturant. We have been doing music since 98. Steven really applied himself. He's a style past me, like Vai and Joe. Steven and Randell. Steven was a open wheel racer, and a motocross rider before he got into the guitar. Speed is his "ONLY" name. LOL I started teaching myself when Iwas 14 years old. i kinda started late...LOL. JOE:Iknow from your news letter that your doing a concert for a sick friend. Post to Steven if'in' you will. I'm sure that will get his spirits up. He loves the signed photo's of you with your 7-string. I love the photo of you with my Artist! Have you got a copy from Jon? Be safe out there! KTF Randell

GottahaveJoe: The pick-up mounting plate was essential to the guitar. You may now have to get a plastic pick gaurd, have it specially cut for your pick-ups and then have your pick-ups removed and then after replacing the pick-gaurd, re-mount the pick-ups and solder them to the correct leads to make it work again. WHAT?????????Alot of work for nothing. That pick guard was glued into place. Much like the original Jet-king series. A strat pick-gaurd is fairly cheep but you might find a better deal from wormouth in washington, or carvin.com. Good luck. I wish I was there to explain how to fix it now, or do the work. What next? Keep me informed. You just might have to make a custom plate. The body is much smaller than traditional guitars. It will look different, but it'll work. Strange stuff Satchgirl!!!!

JOE:I just am not sure about work anymore, I may just have to quit. I WILL find more appropreate employment. I will give them every chance to shape up and fly right first. I can't take another extended interuption in my income right now. I will find a way thru it. I go back to the opthamoligist (sp) friday. I get to have glasses made for me! I will only need them to read and they will be no stronger than the reading glasses I have now. Maybe I can get the doc to throw in "Transisions"(sp) lenses. I just made some car copies of my fave music for my car. Now I can listen to you-and others- when I get in and drive. I now won't have to worry if'in' they get damaged 'cause I have saftey copies! I just love "Super Colossal!" I'm still listening to "Time Machine" as well. With the new surge in our(ATN's) digital sales, I'm practicing my own stuff more. I do hope to find band mates to start new projects with some time this year/next. I may just have to rely on my guitar playing to make money. The retail biz has not been the stellar success I've hoped for. Think it's time for me out there? The rest of the world seems to be in a downward spiral funk. I'm not sure why the masses have been so surley, but it is getting quite tough out here for the "average" guy and gal. We'll get thru it...and by listening to your positive out-worldly vibes. Randell

Satriella: Thanks for noticing. Work worked out today and the problems I thought I had did not materialize.......????? Things are better, all except my pay....of course. GottahaveJoe:AWSOME!!! You got to ask a question of JOE! Now all's we have to do is get your axe back together. Any luck with that? It's good to see positive things happening for you now. I started to put together another pedal-borad for the studio/live. It helps keep the floor more organized and wire free. I have to make some cables for my wireless. Then I will have a wireles pedal-board!! Calm down Girl! Don't let allittle thing like insensitivity slow you down. Maybe You need a LOCK for your room.!! I'm sorry your Bro and Dad get mouthy. I went thru alot of that when I was at home. I was never getting yelled at, but the perifery was just as bad. Don't take it to heart. Hope for change and communication. Prayers to ya! Ovation 1: Hey Mikey-san. Did the cd I sent you ever get there? Sounds like you've been getting into Ritchie Kozen(sp) as of late. Any faves from "Trade-Off?" The older stuff at the end of the cd is from "On Track." Tha's from 99/2000. Hope your groving and rocking out as we speak. Thanks to all T2Jers for your support and well wishes For Steven Wilde. Bahduh: I did not get to His house...and i tried to give Steven your addy info on the phone. he was upset and would not take it. he wanted me to come by, but I couldn't get there today. I have no idea when I'll get out that way. Not till Next month it looks like. Hope your on the mend and feeling better. Prayers to ya! Hug the wife and kids, count your blessings, and let the big guy handel the rest! Randell

Ovation 1: Right on Bro! I hoped you would apprecieate listening to where I started from. "Passions" got done in stages. I was at Steven's one day when he wanted a dual lead for the song. That day...I could not even get with it, the next day....magic! Sorry I'm missed your posts. B-day week I was not on the comp much. GottahaveJoe: Did your bro bring back your Joe recordings intact? Maybe you should borrow with out permission? Maybe not. Did you get a lock box for your stuff? Keep the key on you. Any luck fixing your axe? Carvin might have the best prices for needed parts. I can make a wireing map for you if'in' you need one. But how do I get it to you. Maybe I can post it here?! It's kinda straight forward. Let me know. I'm off monday, so'os I'll look for a post from you if your going to work on that project. Did Your Dad offer to have it fixed? A custom shop can do the work, but it maybe a cost. At least they will clean it up for you and make it like new. Randell

Bahduh: Work worked out just fine. I thought I was having a bad day....know one else even noticed. Things are much better now. Steven goes to court today...I think. Good. Now that'll be behind him. I have been sick for a couple of days only because a peice of salad got stuck in my throught(sp). It's still buggin' me. I have not been able to jam or see anyone for awhile. $4:00 a gal is just too tough for me. I have a family reunion of sorts coming up next month. Pictures Please! I'll see if'in' I can send them to you guys.Ovation 1: I'm usually beter than that on the "Magic" thing. I'm human. Steven and I have a way of being pre-warmed up some times. I'm glad you liked the older stuff. That was wierd doing all the stuff myself. I really learned alot from Steven about recording. I wish now I had recorded more stuff in my youth....but the digital stuff did not exist then......Randell

GottahaveJoe: See! Those Outworldly vibes we are all atune with. Kinda Cool he's in on it too. Hope you get tp practice when you want. I'm stuck at home sick from having something stuck in the back of my throat! I still have not got it out yet. It is getting better. Ovation 1: I'm working on a full compulation disk of all my stuff to date. Any suggestions for songs to include? I'm looking in my old comp for recordings of Steven and I where we did a song called "Exit E-42nd." I put down a killer bass track on the original, then Steven put it all together again in another recording. I want to put the two back to back. There is some other funky stuff in my old comp too, and I will go thru a test listen. Some we've already published! JOE: I hope your concert for your friend went well. Buzzy had a tough time in NYC when he was on "Late Night." You just never know who's lurking out there. DCK Noticed a "My Space" out there about Buzzy. God Bless all of you. Randell

JOE: I've been listening to all your stuff while driving to work. Great driving music! Hope you and band/family are having fun. Do you get a couple of months with them this year? I hope both keep up in sales because both are worth the investment! I have copies in my car. Any one heard from "Ricky Garcia?" I hope he's still rocking out. I tranzfered a tape to cd the other day. "Dave Uhrich" I ran into him in Washington state at a local music store in Marysville. he's had a few albums since then, and is based outa Chicago. Check him out on googgle. JOE: I hope your getting some rest and relaxation in so'os You can get back into writing mode. I just love it when you get to be "YOU" in the process. GB KTF Randell

GottahaveJoe: Dynamics=how loud or soft a note is played. Believe CDK. Beyond that is the attack of the note. If the note is played with a pick- like on a guitar- the pick attack can make a difference on its dynamics. The length the note lasts also can figure into it. Ususally it is the difference between the notes and the group of notes in a phrase that promts musical dynamics. I hope I did not confuse you with this. You have the idea. I do hope things get better for you and Your Dad so'os he does not feel the need to imbibe so much. Hopefully that'll be an isolated experience. Any luck with your axe as of late girl? Cute little sis. Reminds me of my half sis. She's 23 years younger! Bahduh: I talked with Steven yesterday! He's doing better as he was not called to court! So the pressure is off. I got him your addy and phone number. I don't know if'in' he will call you. I hope he does. MariMariSRV CONGRATULATIONS! Cool big girl! I'll save some room in my cd player for that band now. Let us know about any updates! JOE: Don't sweat the little things like pictures. I do hope that you get so see some of them. You have been giving so much this past few years! GottahaveJoe: I have given you some instruction on how to proceed with fixing the "Pro line." You may have to finnish ripping off the former pick gaurd completely before attempting to remount the pick-ups. Have any duct tape? That's a fast way to hold them down. Just don't get it across the pick-ups themselves or it'll mute the sound. Sounds like Dad has ex-wife troubles and he's reacting. I Know that well. I've never been married, but I have survived plenty of sep/divorces. Everyone is doing the best they can. Sorry your Brother blew out his amp!? That's a tough one. I was hoping you'd get a shot at playing it too. Family??!!! I'm going to visit my old home town-someplace I never really want to be again- and My old friends are getting a jam together. That will be great!! It's for my Mom's B-day! I'm taking some of the new music I sent you 'cause they have not heard it all yet. I'm also taking some simul-sync tape for my friends Frank and Julie. They were a band called "Pedestrian Polo." I helped them out when I lived near them a few yeras ago when there former guitarist passed away suddenly. Julie plays Keys/bass and Frank plays guitar. I also play bass/and drums. I have three drum stes....LOL well two are digital. Steven uses the "discrete drums" in our Boss recorder and he also is a cool drummer, as well as guitar player/bass now. That's how we get all this cool stuff recorded. More later. I can send you detailed instructions on your guitar repair thru here. A "Bowed bass" is one where you use a bow- like a symphonic bass on the electric strings- or an acoustic bass. It gives it a longer sustain/attack to the sound. It keeps the vibrations going longer than a "Plucked" string. More lush timbre. Randell

I got to jam with old friends, found out Dave Stearns is being concidered to be part of the "Stones" crew in october in Seattle, and that my step-nephew is "Kyle-spiderman-Olson" of ultimate fighting Kung-fu,san soo fame. He just won the guatimalla world championship! I got to jam with Frank and Julie Austad, and wee work out on an old clasic-come together- from the beattles, and some originals. I made a cd for my cousin Jack and for the rest of the family, and a special one just for my band-mate freinds. i also brought copies of Your "time machine and Super Colossal." I hope that's okay. I know they will go out and buy them pretty soon anyway. The Dvd is going to be an instant classic for you. This will be very anticipated release as well. GottahaveJoe: Hey Satch-girl! Give Joe a chance to get done with the G-3 thing....then a few weeks or so to hug the wife and kids....then a small rest to recharge the perverbial batteries...and he'll be back soon enough with a new album! Satriella: I loved your post about the english language. Very confusing. Names are worse. Les Moore, Pretty Penny, Richard Short, I used to know a girl named Wednesday Monday.......??????LOL Ovation 1: hey big guy! Still listening to that new cd from ATN? "Melodic Trails" seems to grow on you after a while. It has for me and I helped record it. "Passions of paradice" is still a close fave, and "redcrush 2" is me doing lead all the way thru with Steven and just me at the end. Any new "Pablo Gilberto" stuff out there? I could not load the "Impossible" song you left a link to recently. My comp isn't as accomodating as I'd like. Too many switches to make things load or work sometimes.
