Ovation 1: Nice bro! Yea, it'll be a while before we work out the logistics. I still need to get him outa the "Hood." Bahduh: Steven is okay but is selling off guitars and recorders to handle debts. I've told him to just move stuff to his Mom's and lock it up, but he resists. Call when you can. All T2Jers: Steven misses you all and wishes his health was better. I will keep you updated when I can depending on my health. I have some decisions to make as to IF I remain working. I have to decide which to keep, my foot, or work. Easy choice. Randell

Alexandre:You will have a vrey good performance if'in' you are nervous before. A sure sign that you CARE! Best of to you and ...Break a leg! That's a Thespian good luck verbage. Everything is backwards on stage.....GottahaveJoe: I'm sorry I did not record the Joe Interview....I got bad news about my feet. I'm forced off work for a month!! While I'm on medical, I'm going to lay down some tracks! Ovation 1: Yes new stuff is on the way, but Steven has now sold all his music stuff in anticipation of moving. The parents are trying to find an "Assisted Living" situation for him. He will not be alone that way and will end up with more money per month to get essentials. "Wolf Pack" the song will be worked on hard this month. Wish me luck for my foot. Once I grow some flesh on the bottom of my feet, i'll be able to go back to work. If'in' it's longer that a month....I will forfit my work....and have to start all over again. I also notice that in the musicians friend catalog...they have H4 EMGHZ pick-ups on sale!!!!

Ovation 1: Thanks alot! I'm still trying to figure out if'in' I need to find a different Job! Steven will get it back together after he get set with what the family can do for him. I still want to get another Boss 1600, eventually. I have the Fostex and the BR-8 to work with now. I bought Steven's Samic from him. I love it. I gave him the old yamaha to jam with whilst he gets his life together. Me too on that. I have time now to record. I will get much more done this month. Wednesday I go back with papers for the doc to fill in. I will also find out if'in' I've got to quit. No big deal there....I'm not really that vested in this current job. I'm looking into working for John Maddens son. He has a stuido here in Pleasenton. I found the addy on line. GottahaveJoe: Awsome satch-girl!!! I'm glad you got to talk to Joe first on the radio show!!! Keep that high. Icemann 2:That should last her a while right Iceman? I've been listening to Crazy alot lately. Peace.

Just drape the Ibanez over the shoulder......? Ovation 1: Thanks sense'. I have not started on taping just yet....My foot is slowing me down. The same on the job front. I'll get back to you on that one. How did you like "Passions of paradice" as a T2j3 submission? Looking into getting a playstaion 2 with some old games to play. I'm not sure about that one. Maybe when I start working again. JOE: Nice to hear all the reviews from the concert for Cliff! See, you are really nice guys out there. I've always known that....but this just highlights it even more. Any response on AWARDS from you and the webmaster....like I suggested? Iceman 2: Tru brother!!! All I have to do is pull out the photo....and I'm happy for days! I'm still listening to SBM and The newest one. Peace

GottahaveJoe: For many years now I wear my Starfleet uniform for halloween. Just two back I wore it for a day at Las Positas college for a Haunted house we did that year for the Disabled students programs and services. My car was down, so I took the bus. When I got on, the driver stared at me. Later he saked, " Do you work at the airport?" My reply was, "Sort of." LOL I could not have scripted a better "Moment." I'm gald your landing in an apartment at least. Don't sweat homescooling. It works just great. I would have done much better, and would have been diagnosed with my learning disorder much earlierr if'in' I had. Love those JOE guitars!!! I have Stevens "Samic" now and I love it! You'll get one of those guitars now for sure! Add it to your arsonal. JOE: This holiday season will be a fun one this year. I do hope I can continue to work or if not, the doctor does the right thing, even if that meas putting me in a walker, or wheel chair. I will still play, regaurdless.

Tesla was another band besides Mr Big that were regulars. They new I played guitar. It was kinda cool working near a concert venue so'os I could feed famous people. I have two months off now from work. I should beable to get something done! Thanks Rocker! Randell

Ovation 1: Aww, all I could do is smile from the kitchen. Steven may have served many of the afore mentioned people. It is weirder to have the Tesla guys come in one sunday morning and point at me in the kitchen........Hey Guys.....I'm supposed to point at you.!!! That's why I came up with the song, "Sandwiches by Mulligan" sung to the music of "Eddison's Medicine" By.......yea I know You can guess. "You know the fries are already in....Sandwitches by Mulligan." They used to come in my store alot after concerts.....and they were HUNGRY! We served them up right. Even Hetfeild Mentioned Dennys in a interview. Other famous people came in also. Basketball players, Mell Gibson gave me a $1:00 tip. Baseball people, Tommy Lasorda for one. Most all were well behaved except band from the soviet union (Gorky Park) Who had partied VERY harty before coming in. We kept them in check. They ate good and tipped good, too. I can't believe that was 15 years ago! I'm OLD!!!LOL Keep Rockin'. Randell

GottahaveJoe: I would love it if'in' you could send me some of the "Squares" stuff lil' lady. I did not live in CA then. I do have a tape of Joe at KFOG I'll trade ya. I can convert it to dvd if thta's what you have to play it in. It won't be broadcast quality....it is from vhs, but it'll be fun to see and hear Joe play that stuff! I'm looking for a belt for my old trun-table so'os I can convert albums to cd. But, just find a belt???? Wish me luck on that one. Ovation 1: I got a copy of Bloddy Roar 4....and I don't even have a player. I just was lucky to find it a Gamestop.......I've been going tru the "Matches" Steven and I taped from 98/2004. They are hysterical!! The game shark made things so funny. The matches where we used to throw the characters above the clock on the screen- which is where we got our name for the band-..... got it all started. .I'm looking forward to doing that with an actual PS2. I have the pic of the "Silver Surfer" as my desktop! Carol-my girlfriend- liked that beeter than my pic. Who knew. I'm hoping to get my Doc to give me two ankel high airboots so'os I can walk despite my ulcers. Then I could even work with ulcers. I'd have to have special cut-outs but, hey, it'll do. JOE:Do you enjoy playing PS2's? Do you play the arena fighting games at all? Good hand/eye coordination.....not that YOU need it. There are some hysterical moments in those games. It used to get personal....the game used to call me "Solid" which from a lcd character...I took as an insult. LOL So now I call them "Squishes." LOL Also have you heard of "Travis Shreed and the Good Ole Homeboys?" My friend from High school ran that band. He's a good friend of the drummer from Weird AL....Bongo Bob Swartz. Travis has retired, lives in vagas now moving from Seattle. He still does reunion stuff. I think he gets called out by Penn and Teller once in a while. Break a leg on that UK tour and have a blast in Austrailia!!! Randell

Ovation 1: No problem. I love sharing. Talk to Kayla about that one. I posted the reason we're called "Above The Numbers." I hope every one who wanted to was paying attention. I will press the Doc for the boots. No problem for a big ole hospital like HGH. I met alot of upper management when I worked at Walnut Creek "D". I used to live right around the block from Joe Morgan's "Wendy's" resturant. I used to talk with him every week end. He sold the store though. It was definately cool to realize that there were so many famous people out there. I'm glad to have a good rep as a chef, too. I've been using my Art processor and my Fostex tape recorder alot as of late. I'm goint to Berkeley to find a belt for my turntable! I will by a used one just to get the belt if'in' I have to. Then I can get you some of those old 80's albums on cd for ya. Do you remember "Saga".? I have the album. "Triump?", 'Ratt?", "Rick Derringer?" He has a song off of Sweet Evil called "Sittin' by the Pool." You gotta hear that one. later AboveTheNumbers.com

Do you have a full compliment of Ozzy? I do have some. Robbin Trower, April Wine, Caustic Resin, Soundgarten, Queensryche, Michael Quinn, Buzzy Linhart? I'm glad to share for free. I found some sound files from when Joe was on a radio show talking about the 1st T2J album. Awsome comments from JOE! GottahaveJoe: Thanks satchgirl. I would still like a copy of the one....if'in' you have a way to send it. I'll send you my addy via e-mail when your ready. I ahve been checking out the Joe guitars....check musiciansfriedn.com and Americanmusical.com Both are musicians catalogs where you'll get good pricing. It'll let you know what the minimum is for that type of guitar. Comes with case. Clarky: Donn the women, BY PERMISION ONLY! LOL Rock on Rocker! Did you get to hear ATN's "Pasions of Paradice?" Would you like a copy? Let me know, or Mikey'san.

GottahaveJoe: Yes! at least you pulled it outta storage. You are going to have to remove any thing that is still left of the pick guard, then, after perchasing a pickguard and cutting it to fit, remove the pick-ups by unsoldering them from the Potentiometers, or the pick-up selector switch, then mounting the pick-ups to the new pickguard, then re-installing the pickguard. Then you will have to resoulder the leads back where they were( be sure to map the soulder spots!) and string it up. I wish I could be there to help. I would hate to have you send it back just so'os I can fix it........Need my addy? Do you have a guitar shop there? Try the tape down idea first. You might get some good practice time outta it that way. It sounds like you will need some small screws to remount your pick-ups as well. You might be able to avoid the remounting stuff if you want to custom glue a piece of heave construction paper cut to go around the pick-ups. Glue it in place, then remount the pick-ups from there with new screws. Can dad help? ????Carvin.com and warmouth products have good deals in guitar parts. Good luck. We'll figure something out for ya! Randell

KAYLA: I'm okay. I need more surgery for my feet! I will find out for sure next thrusday. Sorry to hear your family is in dire straights. My hope is you can get your guitar working and that you can find a job that affords you your own place....soon. Nothin' else I can talkabout yet. I'm working hard on healing...and jamming. I have been looking for a belt for my turntable....with out much luck. "The way of the dinosuars" is the answer I get from radioshack, etc. I'm having a bit o'fun hooking up my equiment differently for different effects. Some good, some suck, some are just hysterical! I found out I can't go from my fostex tape deck to my Boss BR-8. Some kinda intermodulation distortion going on. I may figure it out...eventually. JOE: Austrailia must be a BLAST! Are you bringging home any new tunes? We'd all love that! Any plans to make a song just for us T2J Fans....or about us? Be safe out there big guy.....Randell AboveTheNumbers.com

Spamcapulet: Do you have the strings on a locking/double locking trem? If the former, try souldering the winds near the ball end. If the later, try checking to see if'in' your trem is high enough from the fret board. If you push/pull all the way up untill your trem grounds out, you should not hit any frets. If it's fretting out, raise the trem at the studs. Do you like D'Addario's? Played them for years! EXL 110's. It's 10 on the small "E" but it seems your like me, you already have the tensil strength for the set. Good luck. I hope you don't have a burr on your saddle. That can pop strings during performance type situations. Get out your magnifying glass and look real close, you never know what you'll see/find. If you have a stop tail piece, try stringing the strings backwards thru the stop bar and folding them over the top of the stop bar to the bridge. I saw this in an old photo of Duane Allman. I've strung them that way ever since. You can get some trem like stuff with it strung that way. And it lessens the torque on the bridge where it could come in contact with the string at odd angles. Randell

JOE: Great suggestion !!! I used to sing the cord names for Steven when we first started out. It helped him learn the names and places. Many guitarist sing the runs they play (to themselves-silently) while playing lead. It helps some of us remember the runs better. I've even noticed YOU doing that. Thanks for all you do for us Joe! Kayla: Have fun with all that snowboarding......how's the guitar going. My feet get an overhaul this 20th Nov. Then back to work on the 30th. Work told me they will have plenty for me to do even if'in' I can't be on my feet for a long time. Cool, I'll need the money to get My girlfriend Carol som'in' great for christmas. Mike C:JOE:Stevee T: Great fun with your conversation on chords. The main reason we all choose the chords we use is the EMOTION is gives the piece. Maybe that will help the non-music theory people. Awsome to think that you all have a personal style based on nuances in music theory! The way each artist treats that difference is what makes it interesting to all who listen. It is really cool to have it explained by the master guitarist! Thanks Joe, and you two for asking great questions!!! JOE: Did you get a copy of the spitzers photo? JOE: I just got a Ibanez S series guitar. It's a SF 420 FM. It is sweet even thou it has a stop tail piece on it, the "Forest Green" Flame maple body and matching head stock look great! The case was a suprize. It was bright pink velvet inside! The "S" body is sooooooooocomfortable. I will eventually put a kahler trem on it, just 'cause I Love useing a wammy bar.
