Yesterday I've made my first show with my band... I'm 18 and I'm a girl. We were 10 groups to play this night.
I've been working hard to play as well as I could, forgetting about all my work... but as we had just made four repetitions of an hour we didn't knew very well who had to play and when and how many time we had to play the theme... My guitar teacher told me that he would write it for me on a paper and give it to me before the show to give me the time to learn it... he didn't.
The teachers of my school were supposed to prepare everything for the show so that we just had to come with our instruments and play. (the other musicians are between 30 and 45 years old)
I was supposed to be there at 19:00 for the repetitions... I arrived at 19:30 and nobody was there... they came at 20:00... and we didn't had the time to repeat the songs...
When our turn came, I've had the impression to be in a cage...
My teacher was in front of me and he just told me when I was supposed to play, but he did it so bad that I was petrified!... I've never played so bad...
Now I'm desgusted... if THIS is music and if THIS was a real concert, I just have nothing to do with those people...
At the end he told me that my performance was good. I'm not so stupid to trust something like that. I know that I've not been good. I don't think that I'll ever trust my teacher again... no more trust on him. I'm just 18 and I love to play guitar but not on these conditions...
I'm completely disgusted.
