First time post!

I would just like to plead to Joe and crew to have another G3 tour. I have missed the last 2 shows, one due to money problems and the last one because it sold it within a day of being released for my area. Whenever I get depressed I pop in Live in San Francisco and it always cheers me up. I hopefully will see you soon on another tour, G3 or Good ole Satch Classics.

Thanks for being such a great musician and an inspiration, Tim

I just received the random drawing aftershow pass for this Thursday's Evening with Joe Concert. However I have already bought the Platinum Ticket a couple months ago (DOH!). Just curious if anyone knows the difference. I still might have a friend who will want to come. But don't know if he can hang around me or not (being front row and Platinum and all).

Well, I still might want one for my friend that might be coming. I would like to know what is involved with the aftershow pass as oppose to the Platinum Ticket. I emailed the webmaster and the tour manager about it. But will gladly give it up if I do not need it so someone else may meet Satch.

I just went to the Keswick Theatre Show in Glenside PA last night (which I might add was spectactular - the platinum meet and greet could have lasted longer but he did have a lot of people to meet, I got my picture taken which was more than I could ask for :)

In any case - he played a song right before the break and right before starry night. I asked him the name of it and he told me Sleep Walk (I think we misunderstood each other on what song I was talking about). It wasn't sleep walk - but I did hear the song on the Satch Tapes DVD right before the music video for Summer Song started. Anyone have that nights set list or know what song I am talking about?

marimariSRV:

Thanks for theset list - it was Motorcycle Driver that I was looking for (I knew he played SleepWalk too :)

I'm actually glad he played alot of his less popular stuff - definately gave me a better appreciation for them thats for sure.

I believe I can now sleep - heh

wonderdog: I bought the platinum passes and the experience was great. Unless you have meet and greet passes and a front row seat that is. THe platinum tickets we got our pictures taken and had a chance to talk to Joe for a minute or two after the show, front row seats, and got our pictures taken next to Joe's guitar rack on stage (you can see chrome boy in it - heh). But the front row seat is what really made, I could picture sitting way in the back and know it wouldnt be the same. Next time around I am definately getting the platinum again.

brownbow: I agree - there were a couple songs that were too loud and you couldnt hear his guitar too clearly - it was only from one of his guitars I noticed though. I got the platinum tickets and our guide said that Joe never does a sound check - so not entirely his fault (don't know why he doesnt though). Along with the bad mic on the drums that was shorting out, Keswick should do their own sound checks - heh.

I thought the new format for the webcast was far better than any other previous webcast. However, the choice of quicktime is nice (better quality than asf in my opinion), but I am worried that when kikkerfest takes down the current concert that the satch community won't be able to enjoy it somewhere else. I don't think you can save a quicktime stream local to your computer to watch later. Anyone have any insight ?

Anyone know if you can save that webcast locally, I know you could with his other webcasts, but not the quicktime stream. Whenever I play it it sucks up all my companie's bandwidth at work. And I'm worried kikkerfest will take down the concert soon...

Any ideas?

Aussie: If your laptop has a DVD rom on it, you should have another program that can play DVDs, I wouldnt suggest WIndows Media Player 10 for Dvds (or anything for that matter). Look for Cyberlink PowerDVD in your start menu, or something similar, play it through that and let me know.

I was at the Tower Theatre show in PA last night (which was fantastic). But I ask my fellow Satch fans if anyone has a copy of the live version he played of Always with you Always with me. He added this basically whole new song to the end of it, like what he did with Starry Night live opposed to the CD. Its my girlfriends favorite song and really made her night when he made it that much better. I would love to hear it again.

Ibanezfox: there are always a couple fans that are just not all there. There was a 7 foot guy that just stood in front of us during the show raising his arms so the 30 people behind him couldnt see. I was going to say something but ... he was 7 foot tall (couple feet wide too).

relic917: same here, im hoping someone on here happens to have a version of it live like he played it (Always with you always with me). I know bootlegging is wrong, but dont must artists say its OK to have their live music distributed under fair use? In any case, ill pay the concert price again to get the song :)

ibanezfox: It took me a while to realize sasquatch wasnt a song, (satch quatch I kept hearing) - heh
