Clarky:
Didn't Vai take Speach Simulation/Theory lessons for the guitar or something like that?
The Audience is listening is a classic example.
I don't know where I heard that?....But I did:)
Maybe you have?

sorry bro--That's not what I am talking about.
In the begining of "The audience is listening"..He makes the "Guitar" sound like a kid talking.I heard he took lessons for that.
I read some other interesting facts though, thanx:)

The Prez:
I do believe you have some well thought out points, however compared to Vai for example,After Passion & warfare I lost interest.Sure-Vai is great but doesn't hold his value on every album where as Joe does. There are a few least favorite songs on every one Joe does but for me ,every album has at least two great songs that would accompany his onslought of tunes I play every day.I will admit that I was a little disapointed at first but more impressed that there were at least 3 on ITLIS that I really enjoyed at first listen that I would play every time I pick up the Axe.There will be let downs with every musician but I think Joe really does great work even if it's not my cup of tea(or Joe)..lol...I am not hacking you one bit bro:)I just wanted to voice my opinion about the whole thing.

962:No $hit!...I didn't see the laser on the guitar too.I'll take a closer look now that you mention it.

"Hey steve, your gonna burn someones eye out with that thing"!

He probably did invent that style of playing. What I heard must have been my wild imagination playing tricks on me.It does that sometimes~~~~~:)

Wow!!!.....what's all this Special Package Swill????
I sincerely hope that Joe will post & clear things up soon.It doesn't sound like something Joe would do.

I managed to get 8 feet from him in Florida with nose bleed tickets.Go figure??

So I refuse to pay anymore than bottom line for tick's.I shouldn't have to pay the piper to get back stage anyway. That's just not cool & unfair to the rest who can't swing the cashola...........

BTW-------Can I buy the Guitar guard package?

Hi All....
Just to inform everyone that I made it back home to FLA after a long drive in the Explorer. All I have to say is that it ran great, got good mileage & drove like a limo.
By the way-Florida drivers suck.Where do they learn how to drive?......From the back of a box of cap'n crunch?....jeez
I got run off the road 2 times when I got to Jacksonville.Anyway,I am safe & sound:)

Whoa!.....Like, I just had the coolest dream last night that I went to a concert to see Joe & Steve. They were signing instruments at the end of the show but my git was locked in the car & I couldn't find the key?...Time was running out but managed to get the git out of the car in time.I walked up to Joe.He then responded by saying,"It's time to take your playing to the next level"....in a very reasuring, confident voice. Then Via came up & handed me a guitar with all kinds of carvings on it & said,"Try this one",with a big smile.......

Talk about strange?.
This dream was so realistic!. Almost like seeing the future.....I hope so:)

When I woke up,I was so disappointed that it was just a dream:(........But I shall take Joe's advice just as though he really was giving it to me....

Well anyway,I wanted to share that with everyone here 'cause I know I'm not the only one who has these dreams(long pause)...................right???
Does anybody else want to share their's too

Hi All:)

Just out of curiosity, has anyone here heard of the band "Saraya"?...

I used to have a tape with a song called "Love has taken it's toll".

It was very popular back in the late 80's.Does anyone know who the guitarist was?....

You are the Man!
That is the info I was looking for bro:)
No wonder I can't even order the CD......Much less find a used copy......lol.....
I would kill Bill for a copy of their first album!

Michelle/Ovation1:
Unfortunately I have to move back to Maryland for a few years.I really don't want to give up my place(at the beach)but it is way to expensive to live in South Florida!....besides,I want to go to school for a trade & could never afford it in Florida.Plus,it is way to out of control here!....Far too much crime & disrespectful drivers here. That is why car insurance is 1,400 dollars a year for a 37 year old with no accidents on record.Jeez! the truck isn't even worth that much for cryin' out loud.Anyway,I'll be going back at the end of the month.I will be moving to Ocean City, which is Michelle's favorite vacation spot....lol.....I remember you went there a couple of years ago & didn't like the crabs....Well,that just means more for me.....ha,ha..:)

I am kinda in limbo right now.My rent is paid 'till the end of the month so from now on it's a vacation in paradise. It is really hard for me to leave.
Imagine you lived in Hawaii(not you Ovation....you are in Okinawa..lol..)grew to love it then had to leave?......not your first choice I would think....It's tearing me apart!

Michelle:
I am looking on the bright side....Being in the same hemisphere as you makes me warm all over!...giggle giggle:)
Well,gotta go for now.

Michelle/Ovation:

Both of you are right!
I can always come back but only if I have some kind of pro training. With out that you can't make any money to speak of.Maybe guitar guard training...ROTFLMAO....Right now I am looking into a Marine Mechanic's Institute (MMI)in Orlando. It just so happens to be next to Disney---everything a growing boy needs..lol..
I will know tommorow whether or not I can get in for this years classes. They hook you up with a job & a place to rest my weary head.If I can't...I will go home for a few months ,eat some crabs & wait.

Over the past few years I have seen life in a whole new way.Made some changes(for the good)...In the past I have feared any kind of change. Now I love it.Meet new people, travel & experience new things that life has to offer.Who knows?Maybe I'll end up in California..lol..:).I have always wanted to live there. The school offers job placement anywhere in the U.S. for life.Basically I can pick a state. So keep your fingers crossed for me.

BTW....I will always keep the guitar as a priority in my life because it gets me through the good & the bad:)It is always there for me when I need it the most.
I WILL keep you posted.Have a GREAT day

Hi Joe!

Michelle/Ovation:
Hurray....I made it to Md with everything I own stuffed in the Explorer.I drove 19 hours straight through without hassel.I did however get lost in the mountains of North Carolina.I took the wrong exit off 95.There were similer road numbers & it was late.Good thing I had a map or else I would have ended up in deliverance territory....lol.Anyway,It feels good to be here for the summer.Look me up if you go to Ocean City!

I'll be online alot more to bug you guys..lol...

Thanks guurll:)I Hope you enjoy your summer.I know I will.
I ran into an old friend that I used to jam with & he wants me to play with him in Ocean City this thursday.I just bought a new amp not too long ago. What a good time to try it out ay?...

Ovation1:
The studio guy(Roger) is the person who wants me to jam with them. All new members to boot. The last guitarist was kind of a stick in the mud about playing rock but he is history so all hell is going to break lose...lol..He also wants me to put down some tracks on his rock cd project.Hopefully it will happen soon before I go back to school in September.I haven't had a chance to record with my new gear since I bought it.

You are not alone when it comes to flash backs.I will not go into it but I new quite a few people who worked there.Unfortunately I had lost contact with them in the early 90's so I still don't know if they made it or not. That to me is just as bad as knowing for sure. The world has definately taken a turn for the worst but it is people like you that give hope for the race we call "humans".Venting your troubles is good for your sanity.Besides,Lord knows everyone else here has vented at some point..lol..

Also,....how soon we forget that tragic day.We all need to remember that day so we don't forget what we are fighting for.Just not the all mighty dollar & oil I hope.Anyway.You are good people & try not to let it get you down.I know it hurts:(......
