I know you have the Euro G3 tour coming up and yes I know Iam being greedy but Joe do you have any plans to do a solo Euro tour sometime in the near future, like after the US tour??
PS Birmingham NIA fourth row, bang in the middle-Ill be there! It's going to be quite a week. I see the legend that is Jeff Beck on the Sunday at Newcastle (2nd row), the following Friday I fly to Dublin to see Metallica at the RDS, then the next day I fly to B'ham to see G3!!! It will be my first G3 show but the sixth time I have seen the Satch Meister. I can't believe the first tour I saw Joe was 14 years ago on the 1990 Dreaming In A Blue World Tour! ITLIS? What a corker! My favourite listen since FIABD/The Extremist era.
PPS I would love to hear a Satch acoustic album. Just been reading an article which said Joe sometimes plays only acoustic for weeks on end. How about recording some stuff JS?
Cheers
MB.

Is there no justice? ITLIS? did not make the UK top 75 but G'n'R Greatest Hits is No.1. I give up trying to work that one out...it just confirms the fact that the whole chart concept is pure F###### B########.

Does anybody in the know if there are plans to release 'Reel Satriani' on DVD? Its the making of the 'Joe Satriani' album in '95. I have the VHS version which I think has now been deleted. Its a great vid, a candid look at the recording process used for the album.

I just have to say (after mnany beers) I think the production on the new album is amzing. Just beeen listening on the headphones-truly great production- bass and drums sound nicccccccccccccee!
PS I am not forgetting the guitar-that sound is just so sweeeeeet! Much more of my kind of thing than SBM.

Ga60 -
Cheers for the amazing Satriani/Timmons duel! F##### Amazing!! A couple of questions...
1. Who is this guy Timmons. I have to say I have never heard of him?
2. Where was the vid shot. Was he playing with the Timmons band, cause what I could see of the bass player it was know one that I recognise?
Cheers

Ga60I tried to pick up 'That Was Then, This Is Now' CD today but could not find it. It seems to have all the tunes you mention apart from one. Its been out here in the UK since 2002, but in the US it does not come out until May?! Anway I will get it from amazon.co.uk. One email and a six minute vid and I have a new geetar geezer to listen too. Thanks again buddy.

How about a proper Tour Diary section to the site?. The diary could be updated after each show (by a road crew geezer or MR S if he is able!!) and include setlists, photos etc etc etc etc.... Sounds a good idea to me! What do you guys think?

Hey! I have just burned a Joe compilation CD following the track listing of The Beautiful Guitar album. I would not have thought to put those particular tracks together in one album but what a track listing it is!! It works so well.Try It!

Lets hope he doesnt **** it up with mind blowingly cheesy video effects like his last effort .The audio on that DVD is amazing but I cant stomach watching the video anymore and always switch off the TV and treat it as a CD. He can also ditch the kiddies glitter he was wearing on his face too!

****MEET JOE MEET JOE MEET JOE MEET JOE MEET JOE MEET JOE****
I dont know if this is already been discussed because I cant be bothered reading the masses of posts but have you noticed the VIP package ( you get a t-shirt, decent seats and a meet-n-greet pass if you pay the whack. Gold and Platinum packages are available) for one of the US dates?? The link takes you to a Sartiani store. Could this eventually be a place where we can buy Satch goodies?! CHECK OUT THE ROAD SECTION NOW!!
