DCK didn't you say you have tried the Peavey transtube amplifier.......was it a head or combo amp? are you using it now?

I forgot who posted that Machine Gun coversong, but anyway, are you using a strat?? and what is your pedal n amp set-up. I really like the tone. I'd really say the tone has the ring of EVH, the texture of Satch, and of course the soul of Jim.........

It's funny the network apologizes for something that probably didn't even offend over half of the super bowl audience. If every viewer out there was that easily offended, most of those commercials wouldn't have aired. I think they owe us an apology for the bad commercials..ahem...nevermind apology, send me some money so I can buy a Peavey JSX.

JS_JS: actually I haven't experimented with the pedal a whole lot, but it doesn't let you hold notes forever, you'll need a Fernandes Sustainer system for that. Maybe I'll bust this pedal out and see what I can do with it.

Did anyone read the G3 DVD/CD review in the current issue of Guita World? I couldn't tell if the writer hated it or loved it. Maybe he was to scared to come out and just say he liked shred, especially with todays rock scene.

michelle I'm with ya, Prince rocked the house, I was expecting him to close the show. I know his guitar is a Schecter, but I wonder what's in the bag of gear...hmmm? I think he has some killer distortion tones.

White Stripes I kinda dig the way he sings with that flutter, and some of the progressions are cool
The Darkness I saw an MTV concert with them and I thought it was some kind of joke...like a Spinal Tap thing, until the guitar player goes into the crowd and starts jamming. I still don't dig them tho.
Can you actually believe a record company signed these bands, I need a record deal, It's gotta be hard to present yourself as a rock duo...drums and guitar...maybe there's some hope for us instrumentalist coming to the forefront.

Jazzy_Boy How would differ BB King from SRV? Do you think BB has in own style? To me I can recognize SRVs style, but I was wondering why you say SRV doesn't have style? 'cause he played blues or anything else in particular?
I'm skeptical about installing some more of MSNs software on my PC for the chat on Monday.....anybody have MSN chat installed?

I oredered my G3 DVD the first day it was on Sony's website and I still hadn't got an email saying it was sent out. I'm starting to have G3 withdrawl........urgh!

I got my G3 DVD in the mail finally, I didn't even get an email from the Sony musicstore...I'm just happy I got it along with my signed cover.
As I'm typing, Britney Spears Toxic video is on, I gotta say thats really the only song I dig.
I got a glimpse of the Oscars or whateva last night, but I had to turn cause Billy Crystal was SO terrible
I will be adding a G3 DVD review to my website as soon as everyone has a chance to view it themselves.
