Hey webmaster, could you tone down the brightness in this section? It's much to bright and bothers my eyes to read it. Also could you put the messages back in the order like you had them where the newest message is on top. Thx.

Hey webmaster, Thanks for taking that super bright white background off. The talk to joe section is a lot more friendly on my eyes. :) Keep up the good work.

LaurieK - I'm also going to see Joe at PNC in Sept. I can't wait. It's going to rock. It will be my first Joe concert and Dream Theater as well. ~ Eric

ice9mike: Thanks for that tip. I knew that joe did something like that, but I wasn't quite sure. I thought that maybe his high pass filter might help. Does anybody know what it would sound like engaged and the volume at full, because if the volume is lower it will maintain the higher freq. but what does it do if the volume is maxed out?

Hey Joe, it's cool to see the blue again. :) ~ Eric

death cube k: Check out http://www.ibanezrules.com They sell a lot of Ibanez guitar used as well as new and they are also looking to buy up jems too. :)

ice9mike: That burnt blue JS is available in like every other country, but the US. I don't know what the deal is with that, but that guitar looks awesome.

death cube k: No prob, I was thrilled to see all the Ibanez guitars at that site. Damn that sucks that the burnt js is not available. It's such a cool guitar.

ice9mike: Yeah I noticed that on his site, although I'm still thinking about saving up for one of the used Js10ths that he has.

death cube k: Yeah that's what I did the first time when someone on the old message board posted about there being a burnt blue JS guitar. At least Ibanez put that neat looking graphic of how the toggle switch work on the US site now....lol I guess it will all come with time. Hmm...that would be nice if Ibanez made a 7-string JS. I have the edge trem on my guitar, but I haven't had all the strings break like that. That just plain sucks though.

JS Clone 1: I'm not as big of a fan of whammy bars as I used to be. Cool sound, but too much of a pain to set up.....lol Have you checked out the Parker guitars? You can lock the trem and make it a fixed bridge with a push of a button and you can even adjust the springs with a knob on the guitar.

JS Clone 1: LOL. I still play my whammy guitar, but I leave the bar out.

Death Cube K: Your welcome. :) My friend bought a Ibanez with the Edge trem and did like one dive bomb with it and he heard something snap, not sure what happened, but he ended up taking the guitar back and got another one.

Quantum: Yeah in the US you can't get the burnt transparent blue JS1000. It's only available in BP or WH; however http://www.ibanezrules.com has or will be getting a few BTB JS1000 in. So it's not totally unavailable.

KB1: Harsh man. I think the album does rock. It's not as heavy as his older records, but it's a good change. You can't always be the same.

njbeast: I dunno if this helps, but my theory professor told my class that in order to get over stage fright you should be nervous more often so that you can learn how to control your nerves. Good Luck with it though. I'm still working on my technique in order to play Joes' music accurately.

DannyBoy65: check out http://www.ibanezrules.com/tech.htm They have a tech section which goes in depth on how to set up Ibanez guitars. Or you could check out http://www.ibanez.com/support/helppage/helppage.html#

death cube k: Nice

pakihaki that sucks about the piracy protection. Granted I did dowload the whole cd off the net, but I think that downloading is better then giving money to someone for a pirated version. I can't wait to pick up an official copy on tuesday.

nodge: I was just wondering since you mentioned the drums. Do you think that drums are too low in the mix on the rest of Joes' CDs? I think the drums could have been brought out more in the mix so far. I have downloaded the new tracks, but I want to hear the cd version before I can really tell if I like the drums or not. An mp3 only goes so far.

Marlboro32b: check out http://www.guitar.com and search for Joe they have an interview with Mike Manning, joe's guitar tech, and he goes over all of Joes' gear.

PJH: Thanks for the link. I was wondering what Joe's delay times were set too and also what dunlop model he is using. If you check out Fulltone it's says that Joe also uses the Clyde wah, but I think he just modifies his Crybaby with the mod that Fulltone offers.

Hey WEBMASTER why not have a poll for the number of people that downloaded Joes new cd and then later bought it to prove that free mp3's might actually help sales to an extent. Well actually it may just convince sony to let us hear more then just a clip of joes new songs.....lol

PJH: Thanks for the info. Here is the link to that interview. http://www.guitar.com/features/viewfeature.asp?featureID=74 There will be a menu on the left with different videos and it's labeled "Mike Manning - Guitar Tech for Satriani." They have it in Windows Media and Real Player format.

Hey I have a question about the setlist. Song #1 means that it is the first song I would like to hear Joe play in his set or does it mean that it would be the number 1 song that I want to hear Joe play? Thanks.

selphm: Use whatever is more comfortable or whatever will give you a better transition.

PSUKCAT13: That happens to me too when I listen to Joe in the car I like end up going faster then I should be.....lol

On other news. I just back from a vacation in TN and I went to this little music shop and the guy told me the best thing to invest in is guitars. He told me that rare Gibsons is where the money is (which I new already) and that Ibanez guitars loose there value. Does anyone know if there is truth to that? I purchased and Ibanez RG7621, very awesome guitar I highly recommend it, and got it for like half of what it originally sold for. I bought it like a year after it came out. They had stopped producing it when I got it as well.

JS Clone 1: Actually the human range of hearing is 20hz to 20khz. :) Although after we reach like over 50 we will only be able to hear like up to 7khz due to natural hearing loss.

JS Clone 1: Well the high frequencies are in khz not just hz. Was that device an oscillator? 7k is the loss after many years, which is in the treble range. That is what I read from my recording book and an article online. I will search that article out and post the link for you to check out. It had some great info about hearing loss. The book that I have is "Modern Recording Techniques Fifth Edition" By: David Miles Huber and Robert E. Runstein. On page 46 of that book they offer a diagram chart with the hearing range.

The Local Person: The high freq. are definitely in K, because otherwise how would you let someone know that you mean Treble Freq. instead of Bass Freq.? Even on the mixing consoles it has High Freq. in terms of K.

Invigor: Thanks :)

JS Clone 1: 20hz to 20,000hz is the exact same thing. There is no range there. 20hz - 20k is the range.

JS Clone 1: Oh wait I think I know what you mean since the k just means 1000 anyway, but it's easier to say 20hz to 20khz. Saves space on the zeros. Sorry for the confusion.

Invigor: Got it.

The Local Person: Thanks. I just realized that after thinking about it a bit.

I'm a recording major in college and I'm used to seeing it as 20khz.

Vetteguy43 Also check out the 520QS. It's got an Edge trem on it as well.
