Just got OSI, the Special edition.I am pretty impressed so far, Kevin Moore was the Keyboardist I liked least in Dream Theater, I never got into Fates warning, and I didn't really get into Chromakey either. But this rocks!

A message from an AMAZING player, Chris Brooks:
"Hello anyone reading,
Jemfest are putting out a DVD of their last event, and they're having a vote for the music to be used as background for the various menus on the DVD.
I've submitted my song "Kryptica" from "The Master Plan". The song is up for three categories: Main Menu, Artist Menu and Video Menu.
If you're a member of the jemsite forum (or want to be - it's another good forum for guitarists and the more the better!) and wish to help me out with a vote (if you think my song deserves it that is), here are the links:
Main Menu

Artist Menu
http://www.jemsite.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=20751
Videos Menu
http://www.jemsite.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=20750
Thanks!"
Chris

I think Petrucci switched to a company that would actually let him get some of his own Ideas into the design of a guitar that bears his name. The JPM Iby was little more than a 2 pickup RG, with a graphic. Not much difference between that one and a normal RG.(Ok, neck specs, and a nice smooth finish on the guitar front)
I much prefer the EB.Don't be one of the countless blind followers to Ibanez guys, they aren't the be all end all of guitars.I play them, and I like them, but they DEFINATELY have some flaws.
Ernie Ball makes amazing instruments, even if they arent as eye-catching as others.

You know that whole thing about cats landing on their feet all the time?Bull.I throw cats all the time, and they NEVER land on anything other than their face.Well, maybe if I removed the Duct Tape. And the blindfold. How high is the space needle anyways?Er...nevermind.

962-Yes I do.Don't really like it much, the Gilbert Tabor and Vai tracks are ok.The Frankenstein cover is HORRIBLE, I think.
Matt is one of my favorite bassists, and Greg is a great Drummer.I wish Joe would release something with them on it, but really letting loose.I hate the stuff they did on the Extremist.Greg sounded like he was playing just a snare and bass drum the whole time.Boring!

Trutina-There just isn't any money to be made these days selling porn to kids. With all the government programs helping eliminate the need for lunch money, kids just don't have the bucks for it.
I do my part by just giving them the stuff. They can get it on the internet anyways....er....did I just say that out loud?
