It would be different if theis were a forum but I cant spend all day going back through every post.I do have a life.....I think.
DCK-Yeah,but Im trying not to be boastful and cruel about it.I first heard Joe when I was 7.He is the single most influential,and therefore,important person in my life,aside from my Dad.Joe means so much to me.His music has guided me through the toughest time,and inspired me to achieve.I attribute all of my drive,and proficiency on guitar to Joe,not to mention how I look at life.As Zappa said "...Music is THE BEST!!"

Actually,I don't consider 3/4 Or 6/8,12/8 to be odd time. Ever hear a Waltz?Not really Odd,is it?Of course,I gave a very generealized explanation in my intital post,that isn't the be-al end-all definition of "Odd Time".

I dont have a firewall.Im telling you,the SECOND I went back and typed in WWW instead of just satriani.com,the chat worked.It had stopped working for a week,right when I realized that I dont have to type WWW in order to access a site.But,like I said,once I added the w's back in,it worked.How's that work?

Just got back from the 1st show.I leave at noon tomorrow for the Portland show.
Really great.Bugged him about EOC and TIME MACHINE,he said now that Galen is in the Band they plan on doing Time machine.Found out that the song he did on MAtt and Gregg b's album,"Submarine" was all improvised over a chart,1 take.I hate him,lol.(jk)Next person who tells me Joe isn't a killer improviser gets knocked in the skull by moi.

Well,unless we get 3 votes,it looks like COOL overcame a gnarly deficit.Intense.I hate to admit it,but Cool wins!!!New challange tomorrow before I head to the show,Promise.

No,cool won by 1.What made it confusing was people who didn't vote helped keep score,and 2 people added one vote to each song,which makes no sense.If its 1-1,and you add a vote to each,it's 2-2.Don't do that,no point.If you keep score,please type the name of the songs,or the first letter.Thanx.

I may be in the minority here,but I have to say...I think Matt is more compatible with Joe than stu.I am a huge Stu fan,but I think Matt really shines on Joe's tunes.He sounded killer!!!If you don't have it,get his brother Greg's album "Submarine".Matt wrote all the music,and it is SICK!!!Joe is on there,as well as Vai and some others.I am now officially a huge MAtt fan,he really impressed me both nights.Some sick stuff went down during "Crush of love"(A song I normally detest)They did the whole Memories thing that has been normal for this tour,but they went OFF!!!Loved it.Cool #9 had a little bit of Hill groove last night too,awesome!!!
