i have tickets to the Joe Satriani w/ Deep Purple & Thin Lizzy concert at the shaw conference center in edmonton alberta canada Tuesday September 14th. I notice that this venue is not mentioned here on the site so thought i would mention it for anyone in the edmonton area who didn't know about the gig. Joe if you happen to read this i am a rookie guitar player and have been trying to learn your tune "what breaks a heart" which is one of my favorites. I have a few friends who caught you on tour in the usa and whey mentioned that you seem to change your set list at the different venues. It would be wonderful if you decide to play this one in edmonton. I am sure i will love the show either way. Wishing you a great tour and looking forward to catching the show.:)

webmaster: LMAO i loved the vid! I about died laughing when i saw the "more cowbell" bit, it's been a running gag with a bunch of my friends from the website "guitarwar" for quite some time :) Since you updated the site I checked the tour section and was a little disappoointed to see that the gig in Edmonton on September 14 at Shaw Conference Stadium is still not listed there. I was hoping that i could upgrade my tickets to one of the packages or get in on one if the draws but ah well i know i will love the show just the same

well it seems that sometimes its better to remain silent thought a fool than to speak up and remove all doubt. It seems that i was mistaken about joe doing the last 3 gigs of the thin lizzy/deep purple tour. I bought tickets to the gig last night over a month ago believing joe was on the roster. It seems that either one of the websites i had been checking out must have made an error or in my excitement of seeing that tour continue into my area i misread the information. The gig was still enjoyable but i was hugely disappointed that joe was in fact not on the roster. Ah well lesson learned here. I do want to say sorry for posting misinformation here. I should have known that this site would have had the most accurate info and wouldnt have missed listing any of his dates. I guess as they say to airhead is human and sometimes i am very human

It's been ages since i haver popped on this site, imagine my surprize at seeing the gig in Edmonton for January 4th! Will deffinately have to look at pinching my pennies (since it is so close after xmas) Not an ideal time of year for a 3 hour drive but if i can manage tickets i will just hope that there isn't a blizzard. I checked out the webisodes for "Black Swans" and loved the music, I can't wait to hear the rest!

I hadn't heard the latest chickenfoot stuff yet so checked it out and looking forward to checking out Satchurated. Took a trip down memory lane by looking at some of your webisodes. Thanx for music that makes me smile :)
