I know this is kind of off topic.........., but are any of you psyched for the New Metallica album.

guitarded, how old is the js...and does it have the lo pro edge on it or the newer one. I heard a lot of people were having trouble keeping this new edge bridge on the js1000's in tune...

Guitarded Boy- What you need to do to get the guitar to stay in tune is to back off the fine tuners on the bridge to the middle. Then you need to undo the locks at the top of the neck, tune to pitch all the strings ( I usually tune my strings a little flat cause when you lock them in they go sharp) then lock them. Then use the fine tuners on the bridge to tune to pitch and you're done. I usually spend 5 minutes tuning mine. I use a BOSS TU-12H tuner to tune and I use 12th Fret harmonics cause if you just pluck the strin, you get all the harmonics of the string.

I have a JS1000 with a lo-pro edge tremelo on it. My question is can I set it up so it will play 11's or 12's? and If I can does anybody know of a website that shows you how to reset the guitar tremelo system?

Does anybody have a link to whats gonna be on it, or any pics of it.

Is it going to be everybodies set, or just 3 songs from each musician, and the final three together like the old one?

and right now it is getting set up with 11's.

I'm not really into metal(but [play it sometimes with my buddies), but more into Clean played loud that naturally distorts.

I like the Stevie Ray Vaughan clean sound ran through slight distortion.

I would put heavier strings on if I could but 11;s are about as far as you can go with the Lo-Pro Tremelo system.
