Thanks for the suggestions, but I would really like to take the guitar because I'm going to put it in a glass case and hang it in my pool table room, and wanted the signature on the front of the guitar.

What kinf of marker would be good for this, I was going to get Permanent Silver or chrome color. Can I gloss over the autograph at a guitar shop?

Enquiring minds want to know :)

I knew this day was to good to be true, (Satch concert day)and it was.

My mom just called me and told me my 18 year old cousin rolled his car last night and was killed So I will be going to a funeral this weekend in Pennsylvania. I just talked to him a couple months ago at my Grandmothers funeral. He was a good kid and this was his graduating year. :(

thanks for the support. I still will have a good time at the concert, I get to meet Joe an get my stuff signed. I'm not super close to my cousin but close enough where it still hurts a little. It's just really sad because he was so young.

for my guitar should I use a sharpy or a paint pen, Should I gloss over it after so it won't rub off?

Hi Joe, I really enjoyed the concert last night. I was the dude that asked you for a pic when the show was over, but what I really meant was Picture. Thanks for signing my guitar, it looks awesome. I thought the set list was awesome, you mixed it up alot instead of hearing the same things over and over. (seen you 5 times, and after a while You can only here the hits so many times). Anyways I thought I would just say hey since I froze up last night and couldn't really think of anything to say besides, good, show, and can you sign my guitar. BTW, have you ever thought about doing an acoustic album? Just wondered. I would love to here a samll set of acoustic stuff, anyways

Thanks for a wonderful night :)

Seeing Di*k Dale tonight! (Columbus, OH)

Can't wait. Di*k Dale always puts on an awesome show....the King of Surf guitar....this guy was recording metal solos before metal was yet invented. Anyways should be awesome again as always!

If anybody lives close to Columbus, you have to come out and see this living legend before it's too late. (Dude's 69, but acts like he in his late 20's)

I really hate to do this here, but I thought I would let all of you know. As of June 8th at 12:15 PM, My wife & I became proud parents of a beatiful little girl (our first child). It eats me up to do this, but the hospital bills came rolling in for the C-section (our daughter was frank breach "butt first" coming out so had to be induced) and I need the cash so I don't go more in debt than I already am.

So getting to the point, In a couple of days, I'm having my buddy put my most prized posession (2nd to my wife and daughter) on E-bay. I have an autographed JS-1000 guitar that I had Signed by Joe. I actually won the backstage passes here and was one of the three that got to have a meet and greet with Joe that night. If their is a way to look at old records it will show that I (GUITARDEDBOY) won the meet & greet for the Columbus, OH show at the Palace Theater on the date of 10-27-2004. The guitar is in MINT condition and has been set up profesionally with 11 guage strings. I have not played it since it was signed because I consider it a collectors piece now, the guitar has less than 10 - 15 hours total playtime on it. Like I said, I really hate to do this, but I need some bread and this is the only way I'm going to keep some of the bill collectors away.

First off...congrats on the firstborn! C's suck, but they get the job done.

Thanks, little Kimber is my pride & joy, I've never been happier than I am right now. It's truly a blessing and a miracle.

guitarded boy - Oh sorry to hear you have to sell yer signed guitar....can't yer sell it part time...you know like at a pawn shop? Congratulation on the baby girl.....is her name Kimber or was that just a term?...If it is I like it...never heard it before....but its lovely.

I would like to do that but I'm so arse backwards right now with bills that I need to put them first and get them payed off or I will never climb out of the hole I'm in.

Kimber is her name. My wife liked the name Kimberly, but all Kimberly's end up with the nickname Kim, which I hate, so I figured if we dropped the "LY" off of the name it would keep her from being called Kim,

So "Kimber" it is.

I'm glad you like it, not alot of people do, but it's growing on people.

cuthbert1776 - I hear you on the name of my child.....Everybody's saying that now about Kimber. It's funny I didn't know it was a gun company until after the fact.

Although I did no that Clint Eastwood has a daughter named Kimber so maybe that's why he did it.....If it's good enough for the man with no name, it;s good enough for me ;)

Well the day has finally came......my bills have finally caught up with me.

My signed JS1000 is on E-bay. If anybody is interested the thing is in near mint condition, has been set up profesionally, has less than ten hours of play on it, and comes with the case. I can't speak highly enough of this axe......it was by far my favorite guitar, it's just a shame I have to let it go.

If anybody is interested here is the link. http://cgi.ebay.com/Ibanez-JS-1000-Signed-By-Joe-Satriani_W0QQitemZ280006547806QQihZ018QQcategoryZ33043QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Ok, I admit I got antsy and downloaded the album last night.

Joe I must say,..this album is your best since crytal planet. I have to be honest, I didn't dig your Love in Space album but this album is tops.

BTW- I have "purchased" every single album you have and this one will be no different. I will be visiting my local Best Buy today! I hope those that got antsy and jumped the gun like me will do the same!

what's included on the dvd?

Just the podcast...or does he actually play all the new songs all the way through?

I've seen him play all the old ones a lot of time and am not interested in that ...but if he plays the new ones, I'm in.

lets be honest...it looks like coldplay ripped joe off....could've been by mistake, but doubtful....

OH well, ..even if Joe doesn't win the case...lets get real...this is probably the most publicity Joe has had in over 15 years for anything...if if Joe loses...he still wins.
