Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! Cheese101....hope you're feeling better! My son had a similar sickness the past few days. Doing much better, now. Nothing worse than having a sick baby. Such a helpless feeling, that's for sure! Take care, all!

ZINC MASTER~ Thank You...."never too old to get hot" made my day! At first I thought you were talking about the story of my life....LOL!! MICHELLE~ I agree with you....I had a breast cancer scare in Jan. Although I required a "not so fun " surgery, all is well.

http://www.myspace.com/jeffperigo ..........my brother's band.....I'm not in a band! I just listen and enjoy! They're both pretty good, though. My sister's is all girl indie/rock and my brothers is Grateful Dead style jamband. Weird how we're all into different styles of music.

Yes Michelle, I agree that the OBX bumper stickers are kind of lame. I was fine with a nail file that said Cape Hatteras on it. Hey, what can I say...my nails were all messed up and I was desperate for a file! Anyhow, it really is beautiful here. We watched T-Storms roll in last night and found huge shells and sand dollars. The beach is unlike any I've ever been on.

Just got done hanging out with Tropical Storm Alberto this afternoon/evening. It was scary but fun! Gusty winds of about 50-70 mph and heavy rains. A lovely rainbow finished it all off....along with a bottle of wine in the jacuzzi. An unusual but neat way to end a vacation.

Haven't posted on here in forever! Hi everyone! Thanks for a great tour, Joe. I think everyone really enjoyed it! On a different note....we're recovering from a small house fire (happened on Wed. night) caused by our woodstove. It went out of control for about 45 min. or so. There were flames shooting out of the chimney....it was pretty scary! The fire dept. came roaring down the road with a vengence and had everything under control in about a half an hour or so. An interesting evening, you could say! Everything is fine..no significant damage, thank god! My house does smell like a campfire, though! Makes you realize how fast things can go wrong!

Um.. I haven't logged into this forum in forever! I re-connected with a Joe song last night and I've been obsessing about it since. l listened to it several times last night and ended up not sleeping well, it moved me that much. I then thought of it all day at work and then played it some more when I got home (Clouds race across the sky)... Ahhh, what a stunning piece of emotion that song is...
