Oh man... this is incredible!!!! I just got word from a friend about Parker guitars at $249 for the imports and $675 for American made models. I'm drooling! I think one of each is in order. I just hope my baby, a Parker of course, doesn't get jealous. No more tuning for this and tuning for that during gigs!!! Just pick up the next guitar in line and go. What a wonderful world. Now I just gotta get through to the dealer! The phone has been busy every time I've tried to call! AND I'VE BEEN CALLING ALL DAY!!!! What a terrible world.

Anyone else notice that the words for the Gilligan's Island theme song and Amazing Grace can be transposed? Wierd.

OKay... suckiness all over the place. Sucky just strolled into my weekend, introduced itself with a handshake and a smile and then promptly exploded. My drummer quit. I hate looking for a new drummer. Once you find someone that can actually play then you have to practice paractice puh ractice to get tight again. Jeez what a sucky world.

I sent out the money order for another Parker today! Should be here late this week early next week! Man what a great world.

Any one play the drums here? Feel like hooking up with a cool Metal and Modern rock band?

Drummer-less Drew

A friend of mine was robbed yesterday in the parking lot of a grocery store. As she got out of her car a man walked up and demanded her money. Luckily she didn't have any; planning to get money from the ATM at the store. So he reached into her car, stole her sons new game and her collection of Satch cd's.

What total scum.

Thankfully she was alright but she is now Satchless. What a crazy messed up world we live in.

Happy Thanksgiving Joe! I hope you've had a great day and were able to spend some time with your family. I can hardly wait to see you in Denver next week. The first time I saw you was August in Denver with Dream Theater which was incredible. I friend of mine that went to that show with me said that the Evening With Joe Satriani shows are more intense so I'm super jazzed to be going. My Mom introduced me to your music in 1990 and I've been a huge fan ever since. Her birthday is December 2nd so I'm taking her to see you for the first time for her birthday. I'm very excited about it and she can hardly contain herself since this will be the first time she's seen you live. I thought it would be a great birthday gift. I hope youre holidays go well for you and yours. Take care Joe, Drew.

Merry Christmas Joe!! And everyone else as well. ust a few short days till our New Years gig. This time the bar decided to advertise in the local radio station so we have 4 days worth of kick butt commercials for the gig. That should help bring in a crowd. Hell the last gig we played there we drew enough of a crowd to damn near sell them out of beer. And that was after a special trip the morning of the gig to get ore beer and all we did was put out flyers. So this one ought to be packed! We'll have to bust off the roof and tear down the walls to fit this party in there. It should be a blast. Any way, Merry cristmas all and a very happy and successful new year to all.

Well... it has taken me long enough but I finally was able to get some stuff posted on the internet. I'll have to apologize ahead of time to those of you that have an affinity towards Clear Channel Communications... sorry.

I can be heard at http://newmusic.clearchannel.com/ you'll have to become a member but it's free and it only takes a second. Then you can hit http://newmusic.clearchannel.com/artist/drewryan and hear a few of my songs. Pay no attention to In This Life because it's coming down... it really sucks.

Any way, Dreams Of The Soul was inspired by my bassist. He said that he likes bass becuase you can play slap bass, you can't play slap guitar and I said screw that and wrote that song. It's a slower one but still inspired by Slap bass.

Darkening Skies was inspired by Joe's song Midnight and a near fatal case of the flu.

Enjoy and critique away!

Drew.

Any tips on the jams or opinions on the style would be hot.
