JOE !- I ...how... I will NOT be able to sleep tonight. I NEED this album! I listened to the soundclips and my god, its you but as usual its not you, But always amazing. After listening to so many of your song/albums, its hard for me to believe you can come out with more material that is still so exciting. Genius. Keep it up, keep giving me a reason to strive to become a better songwriter and guitar player and opening up new musical ideas. -Nik

JOE !! - I finally managed to pick up my copy of the new album. Wow! It sounds so spontaneous yet planned and detailed perfectly. I hate saying a song on it is my favorite cause they're all great but one I can't wait to learn to play is Searching. You truly are genius songwriter/musician. You're ability to have such a vast range of styles across your albums...I don't really HAVE to listen to anyone else haha. I just wish my friends could "listen" or even remotely comprehend your brilliance so I'd have someone to gawk in amazement at my speakers and laugh along with great licks you come up with.

Again, thanks for being such an inspiration and motivation for me to become a better musician! -Nik

Hey Joe! Question, on Searching, I think you're using a whammy pedal but around 2:15 into the song, you're doing these sick dives and like bubble sounds, what is that?
everyone else, any idea when/how to find Tumble on itunes? my roommate thought it was dumb to put an exclusive on there like that but personally I think its a great idea and way to promote itunes. I'm trying to ween myself onto it, I finally got a credit card so time to get some music lol.
Thanks,
Nik

Joe- I can't get over it, this album, every single song just takes me to a different place. The world just melts away when I'm listening to them. Seriously, I think this is the best tone on a guitar I've heard, it just sings. -Nik

Hey all, I just bought Tumble off iTunes, killer song! Any idea though how to get songs you've bought to convert to mp3 cause its in like m4p or something and i don't think that works in winamp which i use more than itunes. I tried to find an option in my itunes window before I bought the song but i didn't see anything.

Also, I played for the first time for people tonight. It was open mic in my dorm(got cancelled though) so we played anyways. Couple guys on my floor asked if I could help them on two songs they were going to do, so I had to learn'm and play them but that ended up being just practice cause the real open mic is next week. we did Eminem's Forgot about Dre and blink182 There Is.... yeah I know, I still feel dirty playing that stuff, I can't stand either song or band/singers. Now that I have time to prepare, after the songs with my friends I might do Always With Me, Love thing, and maybe Juice(vai) or extremist if my friend can learn the harmonica part in time. But it was still so much fun playing with other people and semi-performing. AHHH!! I feel good! lol
Later
-Nik
