Hello all....I hope we all had a safe halloween.

I went to McDonalds with my kids yesterday, and this little old lady walked up to me and said she had heard that I was a musician. When I told her it was true, she handed me a tab book for the song "Truly Madly Deeply" by "Savage Garden"....and said she found it at a Salvation Army store...LOL...(thats what I get for living in a small town..lol)....If anyone is interested in the book, I'll be happy to send it to you for free, I personally don't like the song. Peace, D@ve

Narface....Happy Birthday Bro' !!!!

crispin.....Joe is using a Dunlop 535 Q wah which has 4 or 5 different "sweep" options. You can adjust the sweep frequency from a real bright treble sound to a setting which is very subtle. I don't know which setting he uses on the pedal, but at least you have an idea of how he avoids the harsh end of a regular wah.

Man, that is shitty what happened to Jaco Pastorius....If I had been dictator, that bouncer would have been deported immediately after he got out of jail. A bassist I played with years back spoke very highly of Jaco.....I've never heard any of his stuff, I guess I may have to remedy that. It sounds like his self-titled album would be a good 1st one.

Happy sunday everyone !

Our gig went well last night....I actually broke my D string on my RGT42, I've never done that on any guitar before, it's always been the high E. Anyways, I had to act quick and grab another guitar. So I brought out the 73 Fender Strat and "UNLEASHED THE FURY"......I laughed my ass off because I thought of that just as I put the guitar on my shoulder.....sorry Yngwie....LOL

Michelle, I was especially touched when you talked about getting a hug from Joe. That must have been a very emotional moment. I'm not weird or anything, but if Joe had offered me a hug I probably would have broke down and cried...lol...

Funny one....I caught this in the newspaper.

An airplane has a short layover in some city. And all the passengers get off to stretch their legs except for a blind man, who is sitting quietly with his seeing-eye dog at his feet. The captain of the plane asks the man if he would like to get off the plane and stretch. The blind man replies "No, but you can take my dog out to go do his buisness". You can imagine how startled the other passengers were when they saw the pilot coming off the plane with a pair of aviator sunglasses on and a seeing-eye dog !

I'm bidding on a Japan made Boss DS-1......looking forward to hearing the difference between it and the Taiwan model.

Sammy Andrews, I'll let you know how it turns out with the Jap DS-1, that is of course if I win the auction.

Jake 49'rs, if your beef is with musicians who do drugs in general, then there's a lot of "losers" out there. Probably guys that you think are the greatest. Jimi was a product of the times, and I also must say that he died from an overdose of sleeping pills, not heroin or drugs like that. It was an accident. Although there was some debate over whether or not he killed himself, but I don't think it was in his character to do that.........my two cents on Jimmy James.

Ok, I stand corrected...."Jimi died from inhalation of vomit due to the ingestion of sleeping pills"......I better brush up on Jimi with one of my four biographies.

My stomach has been doing flip-flops all day, I had to stay home from work.....yuk...I hate the flu.

tapper 5.....you can buy a brand new Epiphone Les Paul Standard for $500 or a Custom for $600.....and they also have an Elite model that goes for $1000+. Yours is probably worth a little less even if it's in unplayed condition. Still a nice playing guitar though, my ELP was my main axe until I picked up an Ibanez.

At 34, I'm the youngest guy in the crew so we'll be playing Hendrix, Clapton, Cream, Fabulous T-Birds, Pink Floyd, KWS, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith.....you get the idea ;) Talk about having a good time....heck I even get paid when it's all over !

Joe......hope you had some good memories from this tour. Next time you pass through, I'll have to make sure that I'm not booked the same night...lol

Joe....a question......On Woodstock Jam are you paying homage to Jerry Garcia? About 10 minutes into that song, it sounds just like him. Excellent, excellent tune !!! I would also like to add that "Crystal Planet" is some of your finest work......thank you.

Zachary.....I picked up my TremBolt today, thanks man.....it looks like quite the little science project. Should be fun...I'll post a review here shortly.

Michelle....that's a great idea ! Joe, we'd be more than happy to buy some of your leftover merchandise.....

On a happy note...my girlfriend loves AWMAWY.....I have the backing track and she wants me to learn it so I can play it for her at our next gig. Honestly I would rather dance with her while it's playing, so we'll have to do that too ;) Peace...

RDG.....congratulations !!!!

The very best of luck to everyone who entered the autographed CD giveaway........including me ;)

Webmaster......if just for the sake of curiosity, where DOES all of that extra tour merchandise end up? It would be nice to think that a poor sap like me (who booked a gig on the same night Joe was in the area), might be able to score a T-Shirt anyways. Thank you if you happen to read this...
