JBlaze....I totally agree...I prefer Joe's Marshall tone. I can only describe the JSX as sounding too "Squonky"...like the sound is coming out of someone's nose. I was kind of wondering if maybe some of that tone is attributed to the new PAF "Joe" pick-up.
Does anyone remember a Sprite or Coke commercial that came out a few years ago where they had a guy who was a cross between Yanni and some latin pop star.....and they called him "Yablo"...he played a little pan flute to all the popular songs. It was all a gag but it was funny as hell....I'm trying to dig up something on the net about it but have'nt had any luck. I want a "Yablo" t-shirt...lol !

Clarky....are you saying that William Wallace really did'nt do all of that?......lol.....the best part of that movie was when Longshank's son (the fairy prince) declared his boyfriend to be his Secretary of War.....and then Longshanks calmly led him to a window and threw him out....LMAO......the king was a bastard...but funny nonetheless ;)

Boyd......I picked up a Mexican-made Flame Maple Fender Strat a while back and I have'nt used anything else since. I'm finding that the Ibanez RGT42 is a bitch to keep in tune if the strings have been gigged more than once.....it's a lot of needless aggravation when I need an axe that'll stay in tune....so she's just a back-up guitar now. Anyhoo...we just started a new band a little while ago called "Tornado Alley"....we're doing a lot of classic stuff.....Cream....Hendrix...Pink Floyd....the crowd is diggin' it.....they'd rather hear that than any new music coming off the radio........Peace, Dave

Simon.....you are right....a lot of it has to do with the quality of the trem, which I will (like you) replace with an Original Floyd. I thought there was another model (maybe the Floyd Pro) that will fit in the cavity of the RGT42 too. It would be nice to try them both out to see which is more comfortable. I'll never sell the RG no matter how much grief it gives me....it's just too much fun to play when it's set up good !
Dumb question : What is the size of the hex wrench that is used on the locking nut? I fu##in' lost mine last Saturday night at the gig. I guess I could surf and find out but I might get a quicker response in here. I need to get a new one (or four) pronto !!!

Boyd.....we play "Time"...."Young Lust"...and "Comfortably Numb"....the last being the toughest because we manage without a keyboard player....at this point the band is just a Trio......

Ahhhh......I must say that there is absolutely nothing better than taking a giant crap right on top of the New York Yankees heads !!! Congatulations to the Boston Red Sox......even if you don't win the world series.....watching the faces of the NY fans as their team was shamed was worth millions......Booyaa !!!!!

Ah ha ha ha.....Ashlee Simpson gets busted lip-synching...why did she think she would get away with that on SNL? You can't lip-synch in front of a crowd that small....if you're sitting close enough to the stage you can hear a person singing without the PA. Maybe she should concentrate on getting that nose-job done ! No talent....and butt-ugly to boot.

I just watched David Blaine (on TV) levitate about six to eight inches off the ground. Has anyone ever heard or read about an explanation for this? He did it a few different times without explaining how it is done.....very cool...! Either he is "gifted" or that was one hell of an optical illusion

To all...I picked up "The Extremist" today....I had a copy when it first came out, but it was lost in the many times I moved to different places. I had forgotten how awesome it is.....It also just occured to me that Joe played "Why" on the SBM tour but I could'nt remember the name of the tune at the time he played it....I know, I should be ashamed of myself :P

On the subject of the Koran.....I did in fact mention pissing on it but I immediately edited the post because I felt I had crossed a line. I just have issues with people (Osama Bin Laden) who order the deaths of 3000 Americans (9/11)...and then go and hide.....completely chickenshit....I so want to "bitch slap" him before I kick his ass !!!
