Zinc Master.....I may be wrong....but I'm pretty sure that french fries are not a vegetable...lol....if you ever start a garden in your back yard and decide to grow french fries...make sure you put them next to the tomatoes....oops...I mean your ketchup plants ;)

CrystalPlanet16.....nice looking guitar....that has to be the longest model # (in digits) I have ever seen.....you could almost abbreviate it twice ;)
I play an Ibanez RGT42 BP...it's a chore getting it set up at string changes...but it makes up for it in tuning stability.....the infinity pick-ups are kind of sterile though...and if I had the bread I'd change them up. Peace, SD

Wow...6 pages of posts to browse through....no wonder the chat room is always empty.
I need some input from everyone here....If you were to go out and see a band at a bar and they did all cover tunes, which songs would you want to hear? No classic rock songs allowed !! I hope I see some killer set lists from y'all.

civgeek (happy birthday), VFRrocker, Cuthbert1776, Jazzy...and anyone else I may have missed.....thanks for the lists. There were a few I'd never heard of but for the most part they were all good.
I'm seriously considering retiring from playing gigs....I can't seem to get into the right situation. The two guys (father & son) that I play with now are doing it solely for the $$$....which is great I'm not complaining, but I still play for the love of music. And on top of that we are expecting a baby within the next 3 weeks and these guys are booking solid without any consideration for the time I'm going to need bonding with my daughter. A week after she's due..they got us booked for a two-nighter...I'm pissed !
Anyhow, I'll quit ranting....take care y'all !

Michelle...thanks for responding to my rant ;) Even though I feel obligated to play the shows I've agreed to, I think the end result is going to be an extended hiatus from playing gigs. I'll be able to spend some quality time with my fiance and two (almost three) children, and later on maybe even get some quiet time with my guitar again. I think I need to get back to the real reason I picked the darn thing up over 20 years ago...and that was for my own personal happiness and not to work so hard (for nothing) to impress people I don't even know. I'll quit ranting again..lol !! SD

cuthbert1776.....I just watched that Pacino movie last night.....he's one of my fav's...along with Jack Nicholson, Robert DeNiro and Christopher Walken. Those guys could scare the crap out of you with a simple stare...lol ! By the way...I have a copy of "guitar secrets"...what are we looking up?

Scooba.....the pope-mobile is cool is'nt it? All they need to add to it is a 360 degree rotating seat. And maybe some of those catchy tunes that flow from the ice cream truck as it races through the neighborhoods.
Tastey....I agree....but I still prefer to be the skeptic.
