BigBunny......you're right...it does suck when they don't give you the tix back. I have a stack of them dating all the way back to my 2nd concert ever in 1983 when I saw Saxon at a Boston bar. My 1st show was the Eagles when I was barely 10 (my mom took me so I was'nt thinkin' about saving stubs back then)....anyhow...I think Joe's SBM tour was the first time ever that I did'nt get the stub back...I was bummed.

rockarolla_70.....no...you are definately not too old to start playing....and even though I was never taught by anyone else....I would strongly suggest you find someone who knows what they're talking about and who you are comfortable learning from ;) Peace, SD

rockarolla_70......In my opinion..starting on an acoustic guitar would be the way to go. Mainly because I believe that it will help you build strength and stamina in your fretboard hand due to the fact that acoustics are traditionally harder to play...what I mean is that it takes more effort from YOU to fret the note. Once you are comfortable playing an acoustic and you have more strength....an electric guitar will seem effortless.

Cuthbert1776.....LMAO at the "Toy Yoda" story....I guess if Hooters was being deceptive she might actually have a case.

At any rate...if my employer buys me a "Hummer" for a job well done...I think I'll be happy with either end result...LOL !!

How is everyone today? Peace out...SD

Steven Wilde......my family and I wish you a speedy recovery. Judging by the contents of your posts it is apparent that you have an enormous heart, and so much more to give to everyone you meet in the future.

Jazzy....thanks for taking notice...I thought I might get more than ONE response....guess not.

I take that back...sorry........Later all.....much...

Michelle & TASTEY....in the photo album section there is a button in the lower right corner which allows you to "View Larger Photos"....there are titles for all of the pictures there. There are only a couple of Emily pictures at the very end right now...hope to have more soon. And to answer your question Michelle....I'm the "Mick" on the right and the tall swede on the left is one of my bassists Lars.

Stevee T.....the page cost nothing...maybe because I was already an MSN member?

I'm a Leo too....August 4th '69

Howdy Satchland !!

I gotta laugh at the fact that people are still arguing over whether or not evolution should be taught in schools. Critics are saying that evolution is not credible.

hmmm...let me see....did we evolve over millions of years from a single celled organism to our present state......or are we the descendants of a couple of white folks named Adam & Eve who were created (along with our entire solar system) in a mere six days? There is that fine line between common sense and lunacy that I enjoy so much !

cuthbert1776......a friend of mine bought a Pearl Export series drum set for his kid.....it's an excellent kit and would hold its own in any situation....and it can be had for around $700 or you can go with the Pearl Forum series for around $600.Also..Tama has a Stagestar 5-piece kit going for a little under $400.

Michelle...thanks ;) Everyone says she looks like me....she is a mirror image of my other daughter when she wuz a babe.

Delfino Pie.....I always knew you were a George Michael wanna-be.....LMAO !!! All you needed was an earring big enough to land a parrot in....Bwa-ha-ha ! Everyone stay away from the public restrooms when Delfino is in town...LOL ! Just kidding man ;P I was going to say that our city needs a club like that, but there is already enough bars and drunk drivers here. Peace, SD

Stevee T........I don't think I would be willing to sacrafice the wonderful Les Paul tone for the sake of having a locking trem....just think of how much wood would have to come out of the guitar.....owww....I'm cringing just thinking about it. When I was 17, I bought an early 60's SG from a guy who had a Floyd Rose installed in it. It was a fun guitar but the FR killed the natural resonance and it had zero sustain. But hey..whatever floats your boat....if you find one I'd like to try it out ;)

SteveeT.....that tells you how much I pay attention.....the Neil Schon LP looks pretty cool...I'd love to try one out the next time I get down to a decent music store. The nearest Guitar Center to me is about a 3 hour drive.

cuthbert....way cool Oakleys....I'd consider buying them but I don't think they would beat out the roar of my delivery truck :P I've been trying to find some sound-proof headphones without spending a fortune....not having much luck.
