Punkdude75, thanks for the nice words. I'll try to get an update soon.

Ovation, I was rolling when I read you post. Tires for OUR van have been on our list all month! Hopefully we'll get them before the next snow.

JBlaze ~ werd!!

Favorite presents ~ a candle from my son (which I used for the 23 hr. blackout ~ lol!), a poem my daughter wrote titled "Children's Eyes" with pictures of her and my son when they were little, and a pretty copy she made of the words to Joe's song "I Believe", and my fav thing from my husband was a copy of the Drowning Pool dvd "Sinema". Little things mean a lot :)

HI JOE, JEFF, MATT, GALEN, JON & CREW! Hope you all had a happy holiday :)

Ovation, thank God they found it before it burst or whatever it is those nasty things do. It's always better when they catch something before it does damage. Love and prayers to your mum-in-law. Give your wife some hugs for us too :)

Megaboyd, that must have been some really strong eggnog you were drinking! That's one ugly chick! LOL!!

Happy Monday everyone! The last Monday of 2002. That reminds me ~ Why does everyone make such a big deal out of New Years eve? You know we're going to have another one. I mean, it's not like it doesn't happen every 12 months. And why don't we throw a party at the end of every month? We are bringing in a new month, right? Why don't we get all liquered up and wear silly hats and countdown to "Happy February!" ect... Hell, we could do it at the end of every week, but I think some people do that already. Saturdays nights are pretty crazy in some places. Anywho, does anyone have any thoughts on this? lol!

hey, a new vote thang!

Joe Satriani ~3, E.O.C. ~2

Joe's self-titled cd is the one I fell in love with. That ol' "if you were stuck on a desert island and could only take 3 cd's" question would make Joe's cd #1 on my list. Maybe Metallica's black album would be #2. I'd have to think about #3? lol!

JSClone, man, give a warning next time you post something like that! I just took a sip of coffee and had to hold my hand up over my mouth for about 30 seconds before I could swallow it. It's hard to laugh with a mouthful of coffee! lmao!! I was thinking how cool Steve's JEM77FP looked, which took my mind off of everything else ~ the "Joe" showed up. lmao!!

Ovation, keep us posted. Let us know when she's scheduled for surgery and we'll send up the word to the big guy in full force.

Here's an update on my husband's co-worker Dan who was electrocuted Dec. 20th. He's still going through testing. They said he has short term memory loss. He still seems a bit "out of it", and he has some pretty nasty wounds on his head where the electricity zapped him. Through it all, he has kept his great sense of humor.

Clarky, I have to go back and print that out. I can't believe that's real life for you. lmmfao!!! Take some video! I'll give you my home address just to get a glimpse of that. So, so funny!!

PhryDom, I guess I have a lot of vumfs reading things on this site. LOL! Sometimes I bust out laughing so loud I scare my cat! I should know better than to take a sip of something while I'm checking these things out.

Nick Lee, what happened to you & yer mum? Get yer bums back here! You & WhojacqaPditty have a killer sense of humor! We miss you guys.

and now, I must go find Jordan Rudess. I have to see his new look. I'd also have to say that John Myung would be next for a haircut, but the way he keeps his hair in his face I doubt that's going to happen though. It's like a security blanket. LaBrie needs his hair to flip around. He'd be lost without it IMO.

Happy New Year kiddies!

edit:

Get the hell out! Rudess with a shaved head and sunglasses. Wonder where he got that idea??

2-Ton, hope your feeling better. See, those mood swings do suck, don't they :) Get well!

Clarky, waking up in the wrong country? Oooh, hate when that happens. lol! Guess I'll just have to be satisfied rolling that cartoon in my head since your hands are full. Hey, how about a designated camera guy who stays just sober enough to remember he has a video camera in his hand? Nah, that'll never work...or would it??

Ovation, glad your mum-in-law is feeling better. Real food is soooo much better that an IV.

r6rocker, since you mentioned Penistone and think that's funny, we have a few close to here (in PA) that make you say wha??? We have the lovely towns of Virginville, Blue Ball, and last but not least, good ol' Bird-In-Hand. Nice country towns, but I wouldn't want to live there...lol!

Snow again today. Schools closed. Keep the noise down, the kids are still sleeping :)

r6rocker, that's hysterical! It's comes across very funny. I could make up a very nice address using the few names we've come up with, but I'll leave that up to everyone's imagination. lol!

Has anybody heard from ETHN? His asthma was getting pretty bad. Hope he's o.k. Someone asked about him earlier, but nobody replied.

Dave, happy fi-hundrit!

trutina, think of the money you'll be saving by not blowing all that money on smokes. Here in PA, a pack of Newport, Marlboro, ect...are up over $4.50!! Can't imagine the price in NY. Guess everybody is smoking generics? I started when I was 12 - quit when I was 18. Best move I ever made. After a pack a day for 3+ years, my lungs were shot. Guarenteed you'll feel soooo much better in a few months, just keep going! Good luck!!

Hey JOE! Always nice to see some blue on here :) Glad you had some down time ~ errr, beings that you were snowboarding I hope it was more up time than down time. PLEASE go to Australia this year. Those folks have been waiting a long time. It would also be fantastic to see you in Philly again, or better yet, in Reading, PA at www.SovereignCenter.com. Check it out.

Megaboyd - thanks.

Clarky - I'm the guy from Reading, Berks. LOL! I lived there for 26 yrs., then moved out to the suburbs.

Ethn, sorry about your grandfather. Welcome back. How's that asthma?

Narface, do yourself a favor and start stashing money in a Satch Fund. Stash some money in a hiding place and just keep adding to it whenever you can. That way you'll be able to get tickets for his concert and/or clinic as soon as they go on sale without being caught short on cash and having it sold out before you get there. It works every time :)

Clarky - LOL!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHARON!

T.O.E., Steve does nothing for me - but that's just me. He's cool and all, but Joe has way more sex appeal. Just my opinion as one of the opposite sex - no offence to those who are into making something out of nothing.

Ovation, I'll put Stern in my favorites and check out the site when I have more time. Word to ya mutha (I.L.) ;-)

McDave, how ya been man? Stick around! You're missed.

Punkdude, I agree with your first 3 picks, although I'd change Joe's to the self titled, LISF is great too. EJ has a fantastic sound also. Good choice. I'm not a big Corgan fan, so you lost me on that one. VH, JS, & Metallica are three of the best!

Sharon, YES! You can do what you like now. lol! Glad you had a great day :)

Smithers, two great cd's!

HI JOE! Love ya!

Hey! The Eagles won, which makes my husband very happy, but the big game for me is tomorrow. GO 49er's!!! HEY JOE, no sleeping in tomorrow! Game starts at 9! It would be so cool if the Eagles played the 49er's in the Superbowl. It would be war up in here! LOL! My team against my husbands team. lol! Fun, fun, fun!

Anibur, I have a little while before I can do what I want, but if you haven't noticed, I cheat a bit ;-) I have 19 months of thirtysomething to go!

Peanutlover, I don't play either. Driving in the car is one of the best places to listen to Joe's music. You should keep the music on low volume next time you have your m.i.l. in the car. She just might like it! :)

Hi Joe!

Ovation, glad to hear yer mum-in-law is doing better :)

Sharon, congrats to you and Sunny! I was stuck in traffic during the holidays. If you drove anywhere near a shopping mall, traffic was really bad. I had Joe's music blaring and didn't mind it one bit! I always play his music in the car, weather I want to get pumped up or settle down. It's always good for what ails ya.

Master Yoda, happy birthday :)

Phrigadaire, you mentioned Twisted Sister - did anybody see the show on VH1 about rock stars kids? Dee Snyder's son was on. Holy shit man, he's cute! For as crusty as Dee is, he sure does have a good lookin' boy! It was cool to see and hear how the kids grew up. Some of them had it pretty rough because of who their dad's were and the fact that they were gone so much (and some having bad substance abuse problems). Others had more opportunities to do extremely cool stuff because of who they were. Some of the boys are in pretty cool bands too. They showed the kids of Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Cher, Meatloaf, and a few others. If it comes back on again, check it out. It was very interesting.

Ovation, we got new tires yesterday - howboutchew? lol!

Wow man, I haven't seen the jolly out of fucus giant since that bitchin' house party back in '82! He ran around the yard till his pants fell down, then he tripped and fell. Took him 10 minutes to get up. Glad he's still partyin'! LOL!
