greg m, I'm so sick about hearing about the war I could scream. Hold on a minute, I think I'll do just that ~~~~~~o.k., now I feel better. The gov't. has their head so far up their bum it isn't even funny. The media is hypeing the "terror" and "danger" to the max! First the gov't. raises the alert to orange. In todays paper, they say the main A.Q. dude who warned of an attack has failed a lie detector test - only given AFTER the alert was raised to orange (high alert). They say they still have other juicy tidbits of info, so they claim they still would have raised the alert anyway. Yeah, nice save. Then they have America running rampid to get rolls of plastic & duct tape! LMAO! This is just in case germ warfare hits home so they can tape up their windows & doors. Now I don't know what kind of houses these ppl. live in, but my house is kind of drafty. lol! That's rea-hea-healy not going to do a pinch of shit of good up in here. Once our houses are all taped up and "germ-proof", when can we come out? Those germs don't just disappear, they're on everything! Let's just go outside and breathe deep. Then they have folks crazy buying gas masks. This is a rotflmao kinda thing. Do these ppl. know that if their mask is not fitted properly, dey gone too - and just how long do they have to wear these gas masks? Freakin' eternity? Breathe deep. It's rediculous! I didn't wear gloves to open my mail to avoid anthrax, and I'm not buying a mask or plastic & duct tape...just in case. I joke about these thing because I have to. It's my way to deal with all this insanity. I pray we don't go to war, but I wouldn't protest against it.

If I die tomorrow, I'll be alright because I believe, that after we're gone, the spirit carries on.

Dave, I keep getting yelled at (by my kids) to turn it down! lol!

Wow, the sh*it's getting deep. Mutha Nature has reared her ugly head again. Get out yer shovels east coast.

LGU, that's life sister. The worst thing of it is, some of these people never grow up and continue to stay "clicky" all their lives. Be yourself. Let people see you for who you are, not who your "supposed" to be. Stay true to yourself and don't play the game just to fit in, because sometimes fitting in isn't all it's cracked up to be. I'd rather be myself 1000 times over than to pretend I'm something I'm not. Let ppl. like you for who you are, not for who aren't. It's such a lame game. Just be you.

Mike ~ werd!! lol!!

I forgot whoever said they were going to look into that Rush cd (Mr Nick maybe?) - go to www.RushBackstage.com and check it out there. The cd comes with a sticker and a dvd with a few Rush videos on it. Very cool!! It's shipped from Canada also :)

Jelly Man & Sharon, thanks :)

Eva, Glad you bought the Extremist. It's a great cd. Cryin' is one of the best songs ever. - Such a horrible tradgedy in Chicago...

Clarky, happy four-hunnert!

This snow is CRAZY! It's soooo deep I don't think it will ever go away. The streets are so full of snow around here. At times like these I'm so glad we moved out of the city. lol! No school for the kiddies tomorrow. Snow day!!

Stu Clone, Austin posted a link to the story. What a horrible thing to happen. How you can have a club that holds that many ppl. and only have one exit/entrance open is unbelievable. I bet that happens at more places than we know. Scary thing.

We got about 23 inches of snow since Sunday. THAT'S a lot of snow!!

migupais, happy 20th!

Sharon, the weather outside today was beautiful! I drove to work with my window open a bit. The dump trucks and front end loaders came down the street today and took away a lot of the snow...and let me tell you, there's still a LOT of snow left! lol! I love nice weather after a blizzard! lol!

Trutina, that's GREAT news! Good luck to those of you who are working on songs!

Mike, best wishes to your dad :)

Darren, it's a great cd/dvd. Glad you liked it.

Does anyone have Tommy Lee's new cd Never A Dull Moment? It's pretty kick-ass. I just got it and tryed to play it in my dvd/cd player, and it wouldn't play. Then I tryed to play in in my pc, and it wouldn't play. Finally I get my discman and I get through the first 3 songs and the damn batteries run out!! lol!! So now I'm off to work.

Chriscec, Joe's shirt says something like "Dip me in chocolate and throw me to the lesbians". lol! No seriously, I think it says something like "I'm only wearing black till they find something darker" because he wears a lot of black :)

Great tvtech spot Joe. Looks like you had a great time with it.

Hey Mike, happy 400!! lol! I know I'm a post early, but I wanted to be the first one to say it. lmao!!!

As for Kiss, I've been a fan since 5th grade. I skipped a few years during their "disco" blunder, but all in all, they're a great band. I finally seen them perform a few years ago in full make-up, and I thought to was thee most kick-ass thing I'd ever seen! lol! I loved it, especially when Gene rose up on a small platform singing God of Thunder :P I also love Skid Row's first album ~ very emotional album IMO.

QUESTION - When they show the playbill for The Stone Pony, Kings X was right above Great White (I couldn't see any dates on it). Was Kings X at the club in R.I. too? We're they touring together or just at the S.P. around the same time?? Anybody know? The latest word is 96 dead at this time. God rest their souls and be with their families and friends. So sad....

Darren, my condolences. lol! I hate when that happens. I usually hear that Justin Timberlake song "Cry me a River" over & over, but IMO, Oasis is worse than that. lol!!

Darren, I see Justin Timberfake was at your site, along with a few other interesting characters. lol!!

Kell, my heart dropped when I seen King's X on the bill. One band is bad enough, but two...and the latest guys from G3 at that...sheesh! I'm glad they weren't there.

Here's a take on the whole duct tape thing from the guys at LiquidGeneration.com

;-)

It’s Slippy Jenkins. So far I have purchased twenty rolls of duct tape, a surgical mask, ski goggles, twelve six-packs of MGD, two sausage and cheese Christmas gift packages that an old, idiot neighbor sent me in 1998, and my iPod filled with 2,000 of my favorite if-I-were-trapped-on-a-desert-island songs, including Bob Marley’s SONGS OF FREEDOM box set. I am prepared to go underground.

However, I’m having a few problems with this whole duct tape thing. One recent attempt at duct taping my apartment led me to the conclusion that is a pain in the ass. First, nobody tells you what color duct tape to buy. Sure, you can always go for the standard silver. But as nuclear winter enters it’s third month and you’re still holed up in your bedroom munching on Christmas sausage, you’re going to wish you picked something a little less depressing, like red or aqua.

Second, where do you buy the duct tape? Is duct tape from Kmart of less quality than duct tape from Home Depot? I’d feel stupid if I dropped dead because I wanted to save $0.23.

And finally, is it necessary to duct tape -- duct tape? Let’s say a little nuclear radiation seeps through a crack in the duct tape, kills me, and touches my remaining supply of tape. Is this tape now "infected"? Or is the duct tape invincible? If so, that is pretty cool.

Austin, see :) I know you know what I meant, but did you know that I knew you knew what I meant? I call it Shelspeak. lol! It's a language all my own :) I say it, and it's up to you to figure out what the hell I'm talking about. LOL!

Ovation, J. Timberfake DID sign Darren's guest book! lol!

Two feet of snow at the beginning of the week. Two days of rain at the end of the week. Row, row, row your boat, gently down the street....(I know, it's stream, just play along here!) LOL!!!

Happy six-hundrit PD!

JOE, good luck with the Grammy Awards tonight. It would be so cool if you won. If you don't, you'll hear a collective groan from your thousands of fans. Either way, it's still very cool that you're nominated :)

Hey Mak, add BB King to that list!

We know Joe is the best. Just getting nominated is a big deal. Winning would be sweet, but having been nominated is pretty cool too.

Stu Clone, I watched it for a few minutes - until she scooted Queen Latifah out of the way for Avril L., then quickly insulted her by asking stupid questions. Joan Rivers is one rude, clueless cow. Why she gets to stand on ANY red carpet with a mic is beyond me.

SON OF A BITCH!!! They're playing Starry Night while reading the winners of other catagories!!!!

Well, at least ppl. heard Joe's music. Dammit! That's a FANTASTIC song and should have won!

JS Fanatic, Steve played with DLR back in the day, but to add to that, Billy Sheehan was the bassist for DLR's band. For the 2001 G3, Steve and Billy played together again, and man o' shit let me tell ya, the sparks flew!! The chemistry between those two guys was amazing! They looked like brothers with different mothers. lol! Very cool!! As for which came first - the chicken of the egg - I'm thrity something too, so don't ask me? lol!

Man, I just checked on Metallica tickets. They're playing at the Vet in Philly (might as well play on a 9" tv screen), and as much as I REALLY want to see them, I don't want to to pay $75.00 for a ticket to party with some metalhead drunks. Hell, I can do that here for nothing! No way will we even be able to SEE the bands on stage. That place is waaay to big. I might as well go to the park in the middle of July and crank up my car stereo and have some beers. LOL! I would LOVE to see them again, but not at Veteran's Stadium. I'm bummed! Although if my sister said she was getting tickets...I might have an attack and tell her to get me one too. LOL!

Philaka, I think it was Shyboy! It rocked too, didn't it :)

JS Fanatic, I got such a kick out of Steve's "posing" with the fan blowing his hair back. lmao!!! It was like he was doing a modeling shoot. LOL! If he would have sucked his cheeks in any harder, his head would have disappeared! I gotta give him props though. He can play like nobody's bidness!! He's really funny to watch though :) His set kicked my butt! You drove 800 miles? Dude!!! That's a lot of driving! lol!
