JBALZE, thanks for taking notice...but don't take away the M&M's!

ANIBUR, it was the white sticker that holds the top of the cd together under the shrinkwrap, so I'm pretty sure yours had one on. They come from the company like that. It's still stuck to my windshield too. lol!

Listening to New Last Jam on the headphones right now. On the opening riff I always imagine John Bonham (sp?) is going to come into the song with that killer beat, but in reality, it's our beloved mechanical monkey, Jeff. LOL!!! Don't anybody flame me for that one, I'm just joking. I love Jeff! LOL!

JBLAZE, a Snickers...I guess I'm not going anywhere. lol! Although I'd rather have a Snickers Blizzard from DQ :)

My favorite song (at the moment) from EOC is Attack. It kicks my butt every time!

MIGUEL, yes, my favorite is the drums although I don't play them. I do have a lovely pair of Vic Firth(American Classic 5A for the guy who was asking) sticks from Mr Campitelli, and a store bought pair of Neil Peart Millennium II pro-mark sticks, but no drums.

Happy "start of the tour" Joe!!!

MR NICK, you have it backwards my friend. Now that Joe is going on tour, he'll actually have more time to write between gigs and after the shows.

While he's writing & recording a record, he's obviously busy. Then when he's done he has to practice the songs he just wrote with the band so they can tour, plus do some press. Still very busy. Then they finally go on tour and have spare time between gigs to check in and hang out a bit more. After the tour, Joe takes the family on a well deserves holiday :) and he's gone again.

JBlaze, you've never seen Joe live before? Man o' shit are you in for a treat!! Do you have any of Joe's videos/dvd's? He's AMAZING to watch in person! Totally amazing!

My husband and I just seen DT for the first time in March and we were blown away. Joe & the band, PLUS DT....oh lawd, hep me restrain mah-seff!! The best of the best! Good luck on the passes!

Andy of UK, ZZ's song is soooo sweet. I wish it would go on longer, but I'll take it the way it is. A Piece of Liquid (love that title) is just a smooth song with a cool beat. A GREAT segway for Psycho Monkey too.

By the by, it's 88 degrees here on my porch thermometer that's been in the shade all day, and it's 11:20 at night! PA is HOT!!!

Sharon Osbourne, the take-no-prisoners matriarch who effortlessly deals with her rebellious kids and a zoned-out husband on MTV's The Osbournes, is in for her toughest challenge yet: cancer. Sharon, the wife and manager of metal pioneer-turned TV dad Ozzy Osbourne, will undergo an operation today for "a treatable form of cancer," the couple's publicist, Lisa Vega, has announced.

Vega would not reveal what kind of cancer Osbourne is battling, but the publicist says, "[Sharon] is expected to make a full recovery.

"She has the loving support of her husband and three children who are by her side at this time," Vega says.

The Osbournes celebrate their 20-year wedding anniversary on Thursday.

Meantime, MTV released a statement saying, "We know Sharon will conquer this with the same tenacity and vibrancy she approaches everything else in her life. Our thoughts are with Sharon and the entire Osbourne family and we send her our love and support for a complete recovery."

As a result of the surgery, the Osbournes are postpoing the first two dates of the rocker's Ozzfest 2002 tour--Saturday's show in Bristow, Virginia, and Sunday's stop in Pittsburgh. Both will be rescheduled, says Vega.

Let's all send some good vibes to the Osbournes...

PROG, Going to MD for vacation in a week. I ree-hee-healy hope this heatwave breaks till then. Tomorrow's high is supposed to be 96. ugh!

I'll be in Camden this year...in the PIT!! woohoo!

JBLAZE, cool thing your doing for your roommate! He should love it! If not, kick him out! lol! For the Jersey show, two tickets online at TM were $114 & change. I think Yayo wins the prize for most expensive tickets. What he's paying is insane!

Your going to have a great time just feeling the vibes from the Satch & DT fans. I get goosebumps just thinking about it ~ and your right ~ Satch shows aren't like other shows :)

JBlaze & Prog, I'm going to O.C., not Baltimore, but maybe we'll get to check all that good stuff out sometime over the summer. My daughter had her class trip to Baltimore last month and visited a few of the places you both mentioned. She said it was all cool, but the food at the Hard Rock was gross. LOL!!

Army green M&M's! Hell yeah! NO candy ass pastel colors should even be in the bag!

A lesson for parents on how to wake up their children on a Sunday (or any) morning.....

This morning my kids were sleeping late. I figured I better go wake them up before the day is half over, so I went upstairs and started the punishment :)

My 10 yr. old was already half awake, so I started jumping on his bed and telling him he better put on his tap shoes (he has none), the next act starts in 5 minutes and their ready for him in make-up! lol!

My 13 yr. old...HA! Now that was fun! I went into her room and started jumping on her bed for the initial wake up, then I put System of a Down's Chop Suey on her stereo and cranked it UP! I grabbed her cover, which had her leg wrapped in it, and started moshing around her bed and singing and headbanging. I then jumped on her and stradled her and held her arms up in the air to sway to the slower part, then went back to headbanging and jumping on her bed when the song got fast again. It only took one minute and 19 seconds of the song till she was awake and running for her life :) This is how it's done folks!

Ahhh, the paybacks of being a parent.

Frayed Ends of Sanity...I'm there dude!! lmao!!

JBlaze, on occasion I've been known use the water bottle for the kids who sleep over. If they keep me awake till the wee hours of the morning being stinkers and they're not awake by, say, 11a.m., they get spritzed. I start with my sons WWF c.d. and blast The Game by Motorhead. If that don't wake 'em...out comes the sprayer. I usually save this for their good friends & cousins. Don't want any newbies thinking I'm totally off my rocker :)

Shell, in a few years they just might be waking ME this way. LOL!!

I think waking your family VIOLENTLY AND ABRUPTLY is soooo much more fun :) LOL!

We also had a horrible accident when we were kids too. While jumping on the bed, my older sister was laughing so hard she peed herself. It was horrible. Although it was pretty much self contained and not projectile, it was quite tramatic. No emergency surgery was needed, just a clean pair of britches.

Now we instill in our children that before they jump on the beds, they must go to the bathroom first :)

Austin, have a safe, fun trip. Be prepared for the HUGE load of posts here when you get back. I was gone for 4 1/2 days and have 460 posts to sift through. It will probably hit 500 till I get to it tomorrow. If you have net access while your gone, remember the last page you read so you can start from there and not have to sift through stuff you've already seen. Man, this is crazy!!

JOE, hope you had a great birthday!! Love ya!

Jbalze ~ all I wanted was a crabcake. Not a leg, not a hip, just a cake. lol! We waited till the last night we were there to go out for our big dinner. We didn't want to take the kids into a bar type atmosphere, so we looked through one of the booklets on O.C. and found this place called Jonah the Whale or something like that. They had a big ad about the best seafood buffet in town. I just wanted a frickin' MD crabcake! lol! My husband & son had the seafood buffet, my daughter had the pasta buffet, and I ordered 2 crabcakes & a baked potato. My husband & daughter had no problem with their food, but my son ate like a bird because it said nothing tasted good. I finally got my food, took one bite of my crabcake, and damn near tossed my cookies. It was the foulest, rankest, nastiest crabcake I ever tasted!! Whut up wit dat yo?? I had to send it back and reorder, which is something I have never done before. After tasting that, I didn't even want to THINK about seafood, so I ordered chicken fingers (do chickens even have fingers?? lol) I shared them with my son and we were both happy after that. The best meal we had the whole time we were down there was on the way home. We stopped at a Cracker Barrel in Del, and had some GOOD food. LOL!! Meatloaf & mashed potatoes! yummy! LOL! I'd never been to C.B. before, but it was pretty cool. The boardwalk was great. The beach was great. The motel room left alot to be desired (o.k., it sucked), but we didn't spend alot of time in it anyway. My daughter found a mans shoe under the bed the first night. I wanted to strategically place it somewhere in the room for the maid when we left, but my husband through it in the trash. I figured she was nice enough to leave it for us, the least we could do was take care of it and make sure the next ppl. had the pleasure of the one shoe suprise like we did.

It was a fun trip. We rode down to Assateague Island and saw the wild ponies (and a few deer) too. Three ponies were standing out on the rode & on the shoulder just hanging out. That was the coolest.

We'll go down again next year, that's for sure, but I ree-hee-healy think we'll be changing motels :)

JBlaze, no worries ~ it was just a bad batch or something? I love crabcakes & crab meat, but I don't have to stomach to crack open the legs or use a mallot ~ *gag*. I just can't go there with my food (which is why I order crabcakes :). LOL!! I also love lobster tail, but if you put a full lobster body on my plate...ACK!! I'm runnin'!! LOL!!

In more exciting news, my husband just got word that he passed his test and is now a MASTER electrician!! woohoo!! Now there's a reason to celebrate!! :)

Dave, when I quit smoking I had to tell myself that if I DID light up another one, I'd get extremely nauseous and dizzy. I knew that if I lit another one up, I'd never quit. When it feels like somebody is standing on your chest and you can't take a FULL breath, well, your body is telling you something for sure. I quit when I had a real bad sore throat and could barely swallow a sip of water. I made up my mind to do it that day in January waaaay back when. I had already went from Newports to NP lights, then to Salem, then Salem Lt. all in the last yr. of smoking thinking it would make the heaviness in my chest feel better. It didn't. I started when I was 12 and quit when I was almost 19. I smoked a pack a day (sometimes more) for the last 5 yrs. of that time. Quitting smoking is one of thee best things I have ever done and I'm proud of myself for doing it...even after all these years ~ especially when I hear somebody laugh or cough and hear that death rattle in their chest from smoking. ACK! Good luck! It's going to take me a while to get used to this new nic. LOL!

Chris, the slogan is "Damn, I'm Good!" lol!

Ev, it could be a game like Whack-a-mole, but there would be a computerized thingy in there that you could program so you could Whack the Loon of your choice :)

2 Ton, I do remember Miss-Hell. Psycho Betty in da house!! Glad she turned out to be a great dog. My cats have about 10 names each...errr, so do my kids now that I think about it. LOL!

Sharon, wackaloon is wacky & loony combined. I borrowed it from George Carlin.

Let's get some SWAG up in here!!

Sharon, swag is another word for "loot" ~ like shirts, hats, posters, pins, ect... We need to get some swag (Satch merchandise) up in here is what I'm saying. LOL!

That way we could get our swag on while getting our swerve on while getting our snack on...but I don't know if you can do all that while getting your groove on? LOL!!

JBlaze, that's a long time to be smoking. Don't know how anybody can even afford smokes these days ~ and the price is going up again! Sounds like you need a doctor. WTF is an impacted eardrum? I've heard of infected, but not impacted. Sounds serious.

Listening to Metallica ~ Master of Puppets. Killer tune!!! Killer c.d.!!!
