Plum Loco, that's kind of a rude poll. lol! Does Malmsteen quit in the middle of every tour or something? I'd have to answer you poll with " well polish my balls and make me a milkshake".

I don't think Joe is going to pick a guy he thinks is going to walk in the middle of a tour. It happened with EJ, and Joe was pretty upset by it, but recovered nicely with KWS. We all know as good as EJ is, he does have some issues about playing live. I think this G3 will turn out pretty cool, even though YM wouldn't have been my first choice. That's my 2 cents :)

Luke the Duke, it was Eric's decision to leave the tour. As I remember, he didn't think he was good enough or getting enough crowd responce or something? Joe asked him to stay, but he didn't. Does anyone else remember the reason Eric left and what happened there?

As for EJ, like I said, I'm not exactly sure what happened, but I do know he bailed and was replaced with KWS. Maybe his contract was up and he didn't want to do the US a second time around? Who knows? I remember Joe saying in an interview that he didn't understand why EJ felt the way he did. Joe thought everything was going great. I'm just glad I got to see both EJ & KWS in that G3 tour. They were both great! I think the G3 show with EJ might have been my first Satch experience too if I remember correctly.

Should be fun. lol! We have the stereo & dvd player in the basement.rec room. Played some Satch yesterday and had it CRANKED! Man o' shit did it sound good :)

greg m, it's a single home - and it's pretty soundproof. I put the loud stuff in the basement so we can crank it without disturbing anyone. Once the woman next door goes to work...the volume can go to infinity! LOL!! The last thing I want to do is upset them right off, so I'll be a good girl.

Matt, it made me smile. Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun! lol! Good stuff :)

Mike, today is the day. I'm the only one home till about 3:00, so I'm gonna have a Satchfest while I'm buzzing around here cleaning and organizing. Shit man, I need a vacation from this vacation! LOL!!

Matt, the songs been over for about 5 minutes and I'm still smiling. lmao!!! It was a happy little ditty, wasn't it? lol!

Here's one for you GUTTERbOY ~

Two old men were sitting on a bench in the park one day and one man said to the other, "Slim, I feel 82 years old. All these aches and pains are a sign of old age. How do you feel?"

The other said, "I feel like a newborn babe. No hair, no teeth and I think I just shit my pants."

Back to school :)

IT'S THE MOST WONDERFUUULL TIME OF THE YEARRRR!!

I love this day. To see the kiddies all red-eyed from lack of sleep, wandering about nervously with first day jitters, but yet excited to see all their friends again. LOL!! HA! Gotta love it!

It's also my Mum's 70th birthday today! Hey Mommy, it's your birfday, gonna party like it's your birfday!

R6R, since you thought of it first, you can be "I am become moved". I'll be" I am become wore the F* out!" lmao!! There's still so much to do. My daughter has her first day of high school (9th grade) today, and my son is in his last yearat the Intermediate school (6th grade). Man, they get so big so fast...

As for cars, I drive an '89 Honda Civic. I think I've had it to the garage for repairs maybe 4 or 5 times since we bought it brand new off the lot. How many owners of American cars can say that? I LOVE my Honda! (as you can tell since I'm still driving it 14 years later :) lol!

Mike, thanks for the b-day wishes for me mum. We had a suprise party here for her on Saturday. I have some pics of her sporting my daughters pink fur hat. LOL! That ol' bird is a hoot!

Hi Joe! I'm thinking songs like THE EIGHT STEPS, SLICK & TURKEY MAN should make the cut since they are hard to find for some ppl. (or not on a record yet). Also Time, Rasp. Jam, Cool #9, Lum. Flesh Giants, S.M.F., The Extremist, War, Cryin', Circles, Midnight, AWM-AWY, I Believe, MPHGT - so many good songs to pick from...Oriental Melody, Belly Dancer, Mind Storm....

p.s. - WELCOME BACK FROM THE VOID!! lol!

Gabriel, I'm no musician, but I am a DT fan, and your U.M. sounded great!!! Wow! Fantastic :)

ToneCapone, I think it's the stupidest bitchfest I've ever heard. If ppl. are so friggin sensitive that they are offended by something like that - I mean they just can't go on living with the 10 Commandments on display in a public building and they can't just ignore it- they should move to another place. It's the 10 Commandments for Pete's sake! There are homeless ppl., rapes, murders, all sorts of horrible things, but what sticks up these ppls. asses is the 10 Commandments on a slab in a public place. Their priorites are a bit askew if you ask me. Another group of ppl. could say they are offended by all the crosses outside the churches and want to take them down too. Another group is offended by pink Converse sneakers and wants them outlawed. It's just retarded. As for taking God off the American dollar bill, that's never going to happen.

Rich, I had a good laugh when I read it in the newsletter. I think it was Joe & Jon's way of letting us know they do read this page, even though they don't always bless us with their colors.

Those of you on the EAST COAST who are asking if Joe is coming here ~ be patient. Dates for us should start rolling in soon. Any minute now.......

Man, lots of posts to go through!

Welp, I found out my basement wasen't sound proof yesterday. lol! I even had the door closed that goes up to the kitchen so I could have it at concert level. lol! We have all our old albums out now since we moved, and I'm hooked on Billy Thorpe's Children of the Sun. I just can't hear it enough. It's has such a mellow vibe to it. I had it cranked so loud that my daugher came downstairs and told me she could hear it in her second floor bedroom, and my husband gave me the "you better not blow those speakers" lecture. LOL! ha! I gotta do that more often. It was fun! lol!!

WEBMASTER, could you PLEASE post the passwords of any future pre-sales. A few of us here on the east coast drove ourselves crazy last time trying to find one for Camden, only to find that there was none. It was mayhem AND bedlam! lol!

Glad Joe is diggin' the "Essential" lists everyone made. I haven't had time to fill mine out, but whatever he picks will be good. I did mention a few in one of my posts after Joe mentioned an "Essential" cd. That's about all I had/have time for.

Miguel, thanks for the birthday wish! lol! Sounds like you had a fantastic summer. I spent my vacation moving into our new home. Now I need a REAL vacation! lol!

HEY JBLAZE!!

Happy birthday Supaa Patricia!! lol! It's a day late, but I'm waving and blowing kisses anyways! lol! Mitch Mitchell is underrated! He was a fantastic drummer behind Jimi. My favorite drummer is Jeff CAMPITELLI ;) Hey, what else do you want me to say with a tour on deck?? lol!! Peart & Portnoy are up there too. Bonham is also in the top few.

Stu Clone - "I fell into a bit of money the other day". Could you please tell the rest of the class where this money is you just happened to fall into? I'd like to fall into it too if you don't mind ;-)

Stu Clone, I was hopeing there was actually a pile o' money I could fall in to. lol! It would make life so much easier. On Friday G3 tickets go on sale ~ cha-ching, and Saturday at 10 a.m. tickets go on sale for Jackson Browne and also the play Rent (I promised my mum tickets for her birthday) cha-ching, cha-ching. I have to buy 6 tickets in 2 days! We haven't seen J. Browne in years and he's coming to the new performing arts center about 4 miles away (as opposed to 50 miles going to Philly). Gotta go to that. lol! Ah well, at least I have some money saved in my "Satch Fund", so I won't be to deep in the hole.

Does anybody else have a Satch Fund? I throw money to the side all year long so I KNOW I'll have it if Joe comes my way. LOL!! It's literally in an envelope that says "Satch Fund". lol!!
