JBlaze...you need your ear douched! LOL!! That should clear it right up. I don't know if ear candling would be safe for that, but it sure would pull the gunk out. Candling might be better as a preventative method AFTER you see a dr. Candling is this candle type thing you put in your ear and light the end of it. Somehow, the heat forms a vacuum and draws out the wax with no pain at all. Make sure somebody who KNOWS what their doing does it for you. My sister is a massage therapist, and she was taught how to do it. They sell ear candles at some natural stores. Good luck!

Stu, I knew they played it, but I didn't know a recording existed. Where can I find it? I love DT!

Hi Joe, love ya! See you in September :)

Hey, how about some Satch merchandise on the site. That way ppl. who can't make it to a show can still get some Satch stuff.

Jon (or was it you) said that if the Satriani.com shirts went well, you guys might put some other stuff on the site. Still patiently waiting...

Dave, your doin' it, bro!! Keep it going, your doing great!! As I sit here at my computer, all I can smell is that stank from my neighbor who smokes on her back porch. That crap comes in every open window (or AC vent in this case) and stinks up my house. She refuses to believe I can smell it in my house (she's 8' away from my back door!) She don't smoke in her house or car because she don't want to ruin anything with that brown film & stench cigarette smoke leaves behind, but she don't care about her lungs, teeth, or her body. She even sits on her porch in a winter coat, a hat, gloves, & a blanket in the wintertime to smoke. She has NO idea how insane she is. Save the non-living things (house & car) & slowly kill the body. Whatever? *end of rant*

JBlaze...what?? That ear douche did you some good, huh? LOL! The candles might be a good prophylactic method to keep them clear, but DON'T try it if you have any ear pain or infection at all. Might be worth your $100. to check into it. Glad to HEAR your feeling better.

Dave, the fact that you want to spew when you smell somebody elses smoke is great!! LOL!! Now keep telling yourself that you will get violently ill if you try to smoke again. That's how I did it ~ and it worked!! LOL! Just take it day by day...

JBlaze, glad your feeling better. I have a whole different picture in my mind when I uncork my wine now. Time for the brutha to put some cotton in his ears at work to keep out the funk. DAVE, that was gross! lmao!! Water, sawdust...it just doesn't sound good... LOL!!! Ear tampons anyone? LOL!!

Let's get Sliquered up :)

Sharon, that "boss" joke will be in my bosses hand this evening, I promise you. LMAO!! He'll get a kick out of it. Good stuff - keep it coming!

I just took my kids to see Austin Powers in Goldmember. OMG, I laughed so hard I cryed! It started out a little slow, but after the first 5 min. or so, I was rolling. I HIGHLY recommend it. Anybody else see it yet?

XROB, musta been the whole Tom Cruise thing that threw me off, although the flying through the canyon scene was very cool. Best part? To many to pick one. Moley, moley, moley - mini Austin, Scott's hair (ROTF), Fook Mi ~ oh, no, no, no ~ Fook Yu. Too funny!! This is a must have in my dvd collection when it's released.

Sharon, my boss loved the joke. He says that the main boss in our building is "The Mother of all Assholes!" LOL!! I told my boss that I call him alot of things, but asshole isn't on the list. I have much more vulgar names for him that that. LOL!!!!

Dragonchild, when my sis turned 40 she got her belly button pierced. She already had 2 tattoos, so she went for hole punchin'. I don't think I'll go that route ~ I'll stick with tattoos. I have 9 so far (one's a cover up), but I don't look like a biker chick (in my mind anyway) ~ not that there's anything wrong with that. If you see me in jeans & a t-shirt, you'd never know I have tats. I have them where I can show them when I want, & cover them when I "need" to (ankle, back, upper arms). I enjoy tattoos (no shit, huh?) and think of them as permanent jewelry. My daughter says she wants to get the same angel tattoo that I have when she turns 18. She still has 4 1/2 yrs. to think about it. lol!

Sharon ~ GO FOR IT!! Just make sure you go to a CLEAN, well respected place, and check out their previous work. Most importantly, make sure you & your tattooist have the SAME idea about your tattoo.

Anibur, we just had some wicked storms come through, so it cooled off a smidge. This heatwave is supposed to last until at least Wednesday. ugh!!

HI JOE ~ LOVE YA!!

Anibur, S. Francisco is 3 hours behind NY, so if it's 6:00 here on the east coast, it's only 3:00 in Satchland. Hope that helps. As for my neighbor, I can only feel sad for her. She's been hypnotized, used the patch, and spent a few hundred dollars on different methods to quit smoking. The last time she tryed, she was so miserable, bitchy & depressed, that nobody could stand her. I had a conversation with her one time and told her I knew every time she sat out back. I told her that no matter what room I'm in, I can smell her smoke (I didn't say it in a nasty way, and I was laughing when I said it ~ She smokes EVERY time she steps outside.) She got all uppity and refused to believe that I could smell ANY of her smoke coming in my open windows. LOL!! Reminds me of when I would smoke a cig in the school bathroom when I was a teen, then wonder HOW the teacher could smell it on me when I would come back to class. Smokers have no idea..... lol! And I know because I used to be one!

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeey Dave! Nice to see you had a good time. I was about ready to call out the National Guard! lol! No hangover? I don't even have to drink and I wake up with a hangover! lol!

I gotta read this chat. I missed the whole thing, but I hear there's an "evening with" tour coming up. YEAH!!

DUDE, we ARE watching Dog eat Dog...or as it's called over here...How the Booby Bounces - j/k sort of. I wanna watch football, but my husband turned this on. I've never seen it before, but my husband just informed me that he watched it last week with the guys in his shop...at work...while they were supposed to be working...no wonder he didn't mind working night shift! LOL!!

MInus human, yes, I work evenings - but no online computers there. I work part time, so some nights I'm home.

Jon, cool news! Thanks!

Sharon, I totally agree with r6rocker. Check out some magazines & keep your eye open for any interesting designs. Also, if your worried about the pain...it's like everything else. If you want it badly, it's not that bad. If you don't want it, it's gonna hurt like hell (although it hurts like hell anyway! lol!) You have to be in a certain mindset - positive and open (some say crazy?). Healing time is shorter than getting your ears pierced if you want to think about it that way. If your not 100% ready for one, don't get it. Think about it for a while, and if it's meant to be, it will be. Also, start with something small/med. to see how well you tolerate it. Nothing like picking out a bigass design, then crying like a baby by the time the tattooist is halfway through. A family member of mine just did that a few weeks ago. LOL!!! She had wings go from hip to hip, about 3 inches long all the way across. That's some serious pain! Three days later her friends 3 yr. son old walked up to her and smacked her hard with his open hand right in the middle of her tat. I thought she was going to pass out! LOL! Guess he thought it was a nice shiney target? lol!

HA! I love your sense of humor Joe! lol!

Oh yeah, myself and another Lister (Chris L.) have come up with a theory about your hair after reading your comment on the chat. We believe that you have transparent hair to match your transparent guitar, and indeed have taken on the whole Crystal Planet look :) However, I must warn you that a Crystal Planet clothing line would probably not go over very well...

Jesus man, I was just almost in a nasty accident! I was driving down the street behind a jeep, and the jeep put on his signal to make a right turn. I seen a car at the stop sign (I had no stop) waiting to pull out onto the street we were already on. The jeep starts turning onto the side street (I continue going forward) and this asswipe blows out from the stop sign and damn near plows into the side of my car. Thanks to my mean & nasty driving skills (and watching Nascar every Sunday) I swerved across two lanes (the 2nd lane was oncoming traffic) and the guy missed me by inches. If I would have hit the brakes, which is what I would have HAD to do if there wasn't a gap between cars in the oncoming traffic, I would have had his bumper in my lap! Man, he would have plowed me right into oncoming traffic - and it's a MAJOR truck route. An 18 wheeler vs. a tiny old Honda Civic... I was shaking so bad afterwards. Nedless to say, I was thanking God all the way home.

That's my story for today. Now where's my whiskey!! lol!

Ya Yo, it IS all about the adrenaline! I seen the kid sitting there all up in his seat ready to stomp it at the first sight of daylight. I'm rollin' down the main street, and this guy was coming from a small side street. I was thinking to myself "this guy has plenty of time to see me, he's not going to pull out" because I was watching him & thought he HAD to see me (I was in a row of at least 8 cars - I was 2nd in line). Man, it was like a bad slo-mo movie. By the time the jeep made it half-way around the turn, Bevis had his hoof on the gas and was coming at me! If I wouldn't have seen him and hadn't been anticipating his move, he would have smashed me clear into the curb & it would have gotten real ugly. I didn't even have time to beep my horn at the guy or anything. It was all DE-FENCE! My Guardian Angels were looking after me today, no doubt about it.

Austin, yes sir, I was in a line of cars. I guess this guy seen a break in oncoming traffic, & with the jeep turning he thought it was clear to go. He had a HUGE blind spot with the jeep turning right & blocking his view to my lane of traffic. It was really an assanine thing to do. You NEVER pull out or make a turn if you can't because another vehicle is blocking your view. The crazy thing is, the drug store messed up a prescription and I had to go back to straighten it out - my third time there that day. My 10 yr. old son was with me on my previous trip, but decided to stay home with my daughter this time. He would have been sitting in the front passenger seat (I don't have airbags) which is right where the car almost hit me. I don't even want to think about what could have happened. I just made sure to give thanks for what didn't.

Ovation, I'll try bro, I'll try! lol!

Climber, you know it! Thanks :)
