I blame it on the pb&j.

Trutina, pb&j in the pb&j, of course! lol! Just trying to do to many things at once. Oh, by the way, nice quote. Sounds like that guy had one pb&j to many himself. LOL!!

Ovation, "All I can hear is her wicked voice". Don't ya hate when that happens? lmao!!!

StuClone, The Bone always plays Joe's music during commercial breaks. It's a shame they sometimes get cut off. The Bone rocks!!

Just watching the news. They have a bunch of schools closing in New Jersey & Deleware for tomorrow because of Isabel. Grab your floaters, a helmet, and a cup if you have one folks, it's gonna be a biggin'! I'll be packing the garage with patio furniture tomorrow. It would be a shame if it wound up in the neighbors kitchen...

SOTD ~ Rock You Like a Hurricane!

Man, it's amazing what wind can do. Pretty much a sleepless night listening to the wind and worrying what damage it was doing. Our property looks fine. Others not so lucky. A woman down on the next street decided to move her Blazer around the corner onto my street to get out from under the tree that's in front of her house. Unfortunately, there was a tree across the street which split in half landing right ON her Blazer at 3:30 this morning. It blew out her two back (side) windows and smashed her front windshield. Man, that's a bitch! It's still pretty windy, and it's raining off and on.

HOW ABOUT THE OTHER EAST COASTERS? Hope your all well and safe.

Sharif, glad to hear your o.k. How's it look outside? The winds here are still 17mph gusting to 26 mph. Our lights were flickering last night, but we never lost power. My husband was talking about getting a generator. Is it worth it? The power does go out a few times a year (like Christmas day last year). ha! I guess I just answered my own question. Nevermind. lol!

Here's another Carlin quote:

Sometimes they say the winds are calm. Well, if they're calm, they're not really winds, are they?

Thanks Austin *Shel waves to the west*

Monty Python rocks!

ARTHUR If you will not show us the Grail we

shall storm your castle.

MAN You

don't frighten us, English pig-dog! Go and boil your bottoms, son of a silly person. I

blow my nose on you, so-called Arthur-king, you and your silly English K...kaniggets.

He puts hands to his ears and blows a raspberry.

GALAHAD

What a strange person.

ARTHUR Now look here, my good man!

MAN I don't want to talk to you, no more, you empty-headed

animal, food trough wiper. I fart in your general direction. You mother was a

hamster and your father smelt of elderberries.

GALAHAD Is

there someone else up there we could talk to?

MAN No. Now

go away or I shall taunt you a second time.

Ahh man, 11 pages to catch up on yet. Thanks Sharif, GUTTERbOY & Mike for your replies. Glad everyone is doing o.k. Sharif, thanks for the generator buzz (no pun intended). lol!

I have one thing to say, errr, make that two, that are totally off topic. What the hell is Jerry Rice doing with his hair? lol! He's a good looking guy, and one of my favorite players, but somebody needs to take the ol' clippers to Jerry's doo. The second thing - how badass is Rod Woodson after all these years! I wish he would have stayed with the Steelers, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. He's one of my all time favorite players, as is Rice - eben doh dey be gittin' dey butts whooped...

Man, another wicked storm last night. Rain & some honkin' wind gusts. Another sleepless night. Looks like the other half of the tree that fell on that womans car was blown over last night. The street crew has been out there in the rain for hours now trying to get it cut up and taken away.

Hey Jersey people, hope everyone stays safe. You folks are getting hit with it now. It ain't no joke, so be careful - and watch out for those damn trees! lol!

Hey hey Whojack! How u b?

I got the new Rob Zombie cd/dvd yesterday - Past, Present, and Future. Good stuff man! The dvd has loads of cool videos too. Also got the new Limp Bizkit cd/dvd. I haven't played the cd yet, but I watched the dvd today. All shit. Just a bunch of wasted dudes talking about nothing and showing all the titties in the audience & stuff. It's dated 1996 or something like that. Lame. No stories, no videos. I care as much about what those guys were doing in '96 as they care about what I was doing. Maybe I'll give the cd a spin tomorrow? Anyways, the Zombie cd/dvd gets three thumbs up. The Bizkit dvd gets put on the shelf, never to be seen again. lol!

I think some of you folks seem to forget that Joe is in a band. lmao! What do bands do? PRACTICE! Joe can't just roll out of bed and go on tour (well...maybe he could, but I don't think he would). He has to organize this tour, make arrangements for this & that, do interviews, whore himself and G3, and spend time with his family. That's not mentioning any charity stuff he does, school stuff with ZZ, or any of his personal bidness. We all get bent when we don't hear from Joe for a while, but that's life man. We're damn lucky he comes here - no wait - we're damn lucky he even has an interactive place for his fans to come and jaw about this and that and make some Satch friends on the net. If we're lucky, we get to meet each other at shows & stuff. If we're really lucky, we get some blue from Joe, inside info from Jon, and let's not forget the backstage passes too dudes! Not a bad deal if you ask me (yeah, I know nobody did, but I digress). Anyways, if Joe doesn't show up here for weeks, doesn't send you a free guitar, or a pic, or a photo, or an email, or some guacamole dip just for shits and giggles, it doesn't mean he's being shitty to his fans. It means he can't do it all.

Phydeaux_3, Congrats early on your lil' bundle. Nov. 7th is a great day to have a baby. It's also my 16th wedding anniversary.

One of the pictures shows the guys recording Mike's Harley sound. Could it be for Joe to play MOTORCYCLE DRIVER?

R.I.P. Robert Palmer. Dead at the age of 54 from a heart attack.

SOTD - Sneakin' Sally through the Alley by Robert Palmer

Rock singer Robert Palmer, known for his sharp suits and hits including "Addicted to Love," died Friday in Paris of a heart attack, his manager said. He was 54.

Palmer was on a two-day break in Paris following a television recording session in Britain, his manager Mick Carter said from the French capital.

In the 1980s, Palmer became a superstar with singles which also included "Simply Irresistible"-- accompanied by slick videos featuring the smartly dressed Palmer with a back-up band of attractive women, all in black outfits and glossy makeup.

A side project, Power Station, formed in 1985 with John Taylor and Andy Taylor of '80s supergroup Duran Duran, scored three U.S. Top 10 hits, including "Communication" and "Get it On."

The son of a British naval officer, Palmer was a member of several British rock bands before he hit the big time as a solo artist.

He had lived in Switzerland for the past 16 years.

Known for his GQ sense of style, Palmer was named best dressed male artist by Rolling Stone in 1990.

The "Addicted to Love" video, with its miniskirted models strumming guitars as Palmer sang, became one of MTV's most-played clips, and sparked protests from some feminists.

"I'm not going to attach inappropriate significance to it because at the time it meant nothing. It's just happened to become an iconic look," Palmer once said of the video.

He had his first hit album and single, "Sneakin' Sally through the Alley," in 1974.

In his 20s, Palmer worked with a number of small-time bands including Dada, Vinegar Joe, and the Alan Bown Band. He occasionally appeared in opening acts for big draws, including The Who and Jimi Hendrix.

Palmer once confessed that he was not attracted to the excesses of rock 'n' roll stardom.

"I loved the music, but the excesses of rock 'n' roll never really appealed to me at all," he said. "I couldn't see the point of getting up in front of a lot of people when you weren't in control of your wits."

He was noted for dressing up and being somewhat restrained.

"I don't want to be heavy," he said in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine.

"I can't think of another attitude to have toward an audience than a hopeful and a positive one. And if that includes such unfashionable things as sentimentality, well, I can afford it."

Pizza man, it's called cut & paste.

As usual, Austin gets 10 points for his amazing noodle :) I copied it from my MSN news page. Forgive me for not stating my source. I was in a hurry.

PhryDom, hell yeah. It's a keeper too! Great dvd to have if you like Rob's music. Very cool colors and costumes in all the vids. I highly recommend it.

MIKE, hope all is well where your at. I heard about the quake, but I haven't heard exactly where it happened. ~ ahh, just refreshed the page and there you are :) Good to see things are oakie-doakie. My prayers go out to the victims of the quake. THAT was a biggin'!!

YaYo, he should round off the group nicely - but he should keep his Grammy at home. I think it might distract the rest of the band...

Stu Clone, I thought Satan lived in Texas, but that confirms it. Thanks!
