TheBob, I swear there was a recent interview where Joe himself says he's 5'9". I'm 5'4, and when he stands next to me he's, well, about 5'9!! lmao!! No way is he only 5'7.5 (I mean that with all due respect).

I just got done listening to the rest of the commentary of Steve's DVD. I didn't even realize that I never made it to the end of the DVD to see The Attitude Song with Eric Sardinas!!! Oh...my..God!!! Dude's playing a Dobro, which I've never seen before. It looks slightly midevil. lol! That song totally kicked my ass! They were having some serious fun too. After I was done watching that, I played Linkin Parks Reanimation DVDA. Whoooo, that'll clear the cobwebs from yer brain! lol! It sounds killer coming from the 5.1 surround sound. Thank God I gave up smoking pot when I was a kid. If I would have listened to that back then, I'd still be laying on the floor in the middle of all the speakers laughing my ass off repeating the word "dude". LOL!! I love the way the sound swishes around the room like that with the killer thumping bass. I think it's on 1STP KLOSR (err, one step closer) where the bass does this super cool bwaaaaa roll out of the sub woofer. My daughter poked her head out from around the corner at the same time my jaw dropped. lol! We were both like "WHOA!!" lol! I love when you can FEEL the bass vibrate yer bones. I had it cranked pretty good, so it's possible a neighbor or 2 felt it too. lol! I can't wait till the kiddies go to school & my hubby's at work tomorrow so I can give it a full run for it's money ;-)

TheBob, that's a great possibility. lol! I usually float for a few days after too. lol!

Geez man, my husband forgot he set the house alarm, then opened the front door and all hell broke loose. BURGLARY! BURGLARY! with all kinds of sirens and shit. Aghhh, I hate when that happens!! Now I'm shakin' in my shoes! lol! I bet our neighbors really love us now. lmao!!! Not the calming thing right before bed either. Geez man, where's my whiskey!! LOL!!

Happy New Year!

Clarky, your post makes me feel kinda sad. Anyways, when it's your time to walk into the light, I think you'll be pleasantly suprised to find that there IS more to it than what you think. There is no hell, only different levels of heaven. Hell is something the religious wackos made up to scare people. What matters in life is that your a good person, not if you go to church every Sunday or not.

Clarky, let me rephrase that and say maybe I felt sad for me. It's a long story. No place for it here. Anyways, it's all good. ha! But just for piece of mind...you should always carry a flashlight ;-)

JOE, I love ya! Nice to see some blue in here! Please tell us a bit about the G3 cd & DVD.

eta, I can always find the Little Dipper. I LOVE looking at the sky, and my family makes fun of me because I'm always saying "Whoa, look at the sky! Isn't that beautiful!" lol! Clouds, sunsets, stars, or just plain blue sky - I love it.

Funny, all this talk about religion- I just got an email from a friend I haven't heard from in a while. She sent me the following. I think it says a lot.

>>If you woke up this morning with more health than illness, you are more blessed than the million who won't survive the week. >> If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture or the pangs of starvation, you are ahead of 20 million people around the world. >> If you attend a church meeting without fear of harassment, arrest, torture, or death, you are more blessed than almost three billion people in the world. >> If you have food in your refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof over your head and a place to sleep, you are richer than 75% of this world. >> If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish someplace, you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy. >> If you hold up your head with a smile on your face and are truly thankful, you are blessed because the majority can, but most do not. >> If you can hold someone's hand, hug them or even touch them on the shoulder, you are blessed because you can offer God's healing touch. >> If you can read this message, you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world that cannot read anything at all. >> You are so blessed in ways you may never even know. >> >> If you are feeling blessed, repay the blessings bestowed unto you and do something for others. A blessing cannot be kept. If it stops with you, then the blessing will disappear. The blessing will only keep working if it is continuously passed around. If you are a recipient of a blessing, keep the blessing working by being the source of blessing to other people.

mowlie, if you still have any fingers left, your supposed to put a thimble on each one to play the washboard. If you have no fingers left, you can just put a tea cup on the bloody stump and play that way :) lol!

Why are they mooing Stu? I think he's a good bass player.

SupaaDave -The tour kicks off with three initial dates starting February 22 at the Paramount Theater in Hendrix's home town of Seattle where the program will include acoustic and electric performances by Buddy Guy along with special performances by Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Living Colour, former Alice In Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell, Indigenous, Kid Rock lead guitarist Kenny Olson, former Howlin' Wolf lead guitarist Hubert Sumlin, Earth Wind & Fire guitarist Sheldon Reynolds, Chris Layton and Tommy Shannon-Double Trouble-the famed rhythm section for legendary guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan, as well as original Jimi Hendrix Experience drummer Mitch Mitchell and bassist Billy Cox. Paul Rodgers of Bad Company fame has been added to the bill as a special guest.

"We felt strongly that a live presentation of the music that Jimi Hendrix created and which inspired him would be an exciting and unique way of conveying his relevance to today's audiences," explains Janie Hendrix President and CEO for Experience Hendrix.

The tour continues toPortland's Roseland Theater on February 24th where the performers will include Guy, Living Colour, Cantrell, Indigenous, Mitchell and Cox and Double Trouble. Experience Hendrix will present Guy, Rodgers, Joe Satriani, Cantrell, Indigenous, Mitchell and Cox, Double Trouble and Sheldon Reynolds at the Warfield Theater on February 26th.

The artists will perform such classic Hendrix songs as "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)," "Hey Joe," "Red House," and "Little Wing" along with blues standards performed and recorded by the late guitarist. Hendrix admired the gritty electric blues popularized by the likes of Howlin' Wolf and Muddy Waters and transformed their songs such as "Killing Floor" and "Catfish Blues" in his own inimitable style. Buddy Guy and Hubert Sumlin, who served as lead guitarists for Wolf and Waters, thus, return to pay homage to the guitarist who both broadened the scope and commercialized the blues like no artist had ever done. In addition to these special performances, the concerts will feature biographical information, interactive kiosks, and video footage of the legendary guitarist.

Austin, if you'd live over here, you wouldn't have school today because of the snow :) and freezing rain...and more snow...then more freezing rain. They have storm warnings till Wednesday. It should be a fun week to say the least (she said sarcastically). I don't mind snow so much, but freezing rain...*groan*.

MegaBoyd, sorry about your truck being raped again. Man, that sucks HARD!

TomSr, hopefully it's a lot of news hype and it won't be so bad. We all know how they like to blow things out of proportion. Just take your time and make sure you leave plenty of space between you & the car in front of you. Good luck! 60 miles every day?? whoa!!

Stacy, I haven't been paying a lot of attention to the weather, just hearing what's on the local news. I'm getting cabin fever, so the less I know, the better. lol! Sorry your tape is inaudible. Sounds kinda shifty to me. She should have listened to it before she sent it out to make sure it was o.k. You should get your tape money back if she doesn't have a better copy.

JS JP 41, It depends on the mood and the people, but I'd say either Cool #9 or The Extremist.

Fablawyer, I've seen two of the VH1 shows so far. I forget the name of the girl band - oh yeah, Climax (sp?), and today I watched Ka(something)googoo. lol! I didn't like that sort of music in the 80's, but I remember some of those songs. It's pretty interesting to see what they're doing now, and how they broke up and stuff. I *think* they're going to do the band Extreme. Now THATS a show I wanna see.

Janice, how long have you two been together?

Clarky, remember a while back we were on the subject of how bad the Reading here had gotten? I told the story of the 41 yr. old Chinese food delivery guy who went out on a bogus call, only to be beaten with a baseball bat which blinded him in one eye, and robbed of $300.00. They finally caught the guys that did it. They arrested the first kid, a 16 yr. old 10th grader at a local Catholic school. They literally went into the school to arrest him because they thought it would be harder for him to get away, or know they were coming. The second kid was brought in by his father (how heartbreaking that must have been). He is 14 years old. That just blows me away. They're just little punk-ass kids doing crimes like that. What makes a kid think it's o.k. to do that sort of thing? What a crazy world we live in.

Fablawyer, didn't know about Nuno & Gary's wife. Oohhhh, hate when that happens. lol! Should be an interesting show.

Boyd, nice pictures. Is this why Anuj sucks? lol!

Mikey, happy 1508! lol!

Pete, sounds fantastic! It should be a killer cd when it's done!

I'm playing Rob Zombie LOUD (it's a techno cd ~I never heard it before, and I can't wait to crank it on the surround sound!) on my diskman trying to drown out American Idol. My husband is watching it. WHY? IMO, the friggin' Gong Show was better that this crap. lol!

JS JP 41, dude, if there's an award for most posts in the least time, you win it man!
