Benny, you mean your last name really isn't Boombox? lmao - hard!!! j/k

Joeman, maybe if you explain it to your dad, he can sit with you during the chat just so you can read along.

OME, I chose to ignore the " SRV doesn't have style" comment. It's the most ridiculous thing ever and it doesn't deserve a response.

Tammy, your fired!

It's 11:30 p.m. est. Do you know where your penguin is?

Tastey, it's in reference to the movie Master of Disguise, starring Dana Carvey as Pistashio. I thought it was fitting for some of the things that are going on here and the whole mulitple personality thing. It had nothing to do with your post.

Delfino pie, read above.

Go to : http://www.danacarvey.net/carpics.html and scroll 3/4 of the way down to where it says -

Master of Disguise:

Movie Trailer from AdamSandler.com

It was a stupid movie, but the trailer is pretty funny.

While you're there, listen to the Famous Chopping Broccoli Song :)

Mick, I'm NOT a Philadelphian! lol! Everyone thinks I'm from Philly. That's just where I see 99 percent of the shows. Where are you from? Canada? Sorry hon, I don't have a cold water tush! lol! I know you just wanted to say the word... kayak. lol!

culox, so sorry to hear about your friend. I believe your friend knows your feelings now, and will be watching over you. Keep talking to him when you need to. Even though he won't answer back, he will still hear you. My condolences.

JOE, how ya doin' man! Glad to see all the great news about the upcoming stuff. I'm wondering what the new site will look like. Can you give us a hint? I'm counting the days till I get the new cd & DVD in the mail. I hope Sony mails them out on Monday. WILL THERE BE A VIDEO MADE OF THE UPCOMING HENDRIX TRIBUTE?

The girl from the belly of a bottle of whiskey? lmao!!! All of those names are better than that poor girl with the frozen tush from sitting in a kayak watching seals, whales & the yeti :-)

Mikey, your one one the most mellow-cool people on this site, so for you to lose your cool is very, VERY uncommon. It happens to all of us, but maybe now that Joe has given us some good news and the echoing word "CHILL", that's what we all need to do. Get our thoughts back to music, laughing, and the cool family vibe that brings us here every day.

A great friend of Joe's (and mine) I have the pleasure of knowing once said, and I quote ~

"Life is a bit of a circus, cause you can't control all of the animals at once,..But the essence of a dream is not to control all of the animals ~ just one."

I hope he doesn't take offence that I quoted him here, but it feels like the right thing to do at this time. This is from one of the wisest men I've ever met, and I'm pretty damn sure he knows what he's talking about. Every once in a while, I forget these words, well not forget, just misplace them in my brain. I try hard to live by them, but I don't always succeed. We can only control ourselves and our own thoughts and actions. That's the bottom line really.

mick, I was hoping to see your name pop up in the chat, but you didn't make it. It was so cool. Everybody was having so much fun talking to Joe (and each other), but next time we're going to have to tape one of ethn's hands down. He's a FAST typer. LOL! I'll let someone else give the details, but the highlights were - Ninjas, new cd (crunchy, yet satisfying) , ZZ'a alien drawing, a party at Joe's, and more! lol!

Man, I love this place :-)

power questioning - LOL! hmmmm - Ethn is a fast typer, funny as hell too, but no one was power questioning. Having 6 or 7 people all talking at the same time is a bit much, but it was waaaaay cool fun. It went pretty smooth IMO.

Austin, the only time I've ever heard Fripp is when he opened for G3 (with KWS) at the Electric Factory back in the late 1900's. I'm sure I've heard some King Crimson, but nothing comes to mind. What are some of their most popular songs?

Austin, thanks for the link. That cover looks very familiar. Maybe my husband has that album in the basement? I remember hearing some of those songs as a kid too. The cover makes for some good desktop wallpaper :)

I almost forgot that Joe said he wants a copy of the T2J cd. That will be pretty cool :)

Mikey, that's Stanley Clarke's 1, 2, to the Bass. Great cd. Kinda jazz/funk/r&b - Joe plays on one song ~HAIR. You can hear Joe's guitar immediately as soon as the song starts, although he's not all over it. He's more subtle in the background until Stanley says "C'MON JOE". At that point Joe has a cool solo. If you don't like Clarke's music, then I wouldn't recommend buying the cd for just guitar backing on one song, but I think it's a great cd. It still makes me laugh thinking I have the cd and Joe doesn't. LOL!! Dude needs to break out the wallet ;-) lmao!

Clarke has a song on that cd called TOUCH - very cool also. My husband and I seen him play it live. UNbelievable!

Ethn, you were excited ~ no worries dude. It was fun! Two things happen when you run into Joe. #1 is you forget everything you've ever known and go blank, and #2 is you remember everything you've ever know and ask it. LOL!

Update on the frozen drain pipe ~ it finally thawed over the weekend, and now all the rain water can go out to the street once again. My highlight of the weekend was chatting with Joe & friends Saturday night. My husbands highlight was the freakin' pipe thawing out. lol! woohoo!! LOL!

oh yeah, Joe said "Chris Farley for President!"

although impossible now, it would have been fun :)
