UF Dean, I haven't seen the video for a while. Is the Viagra part where he uses the water bottle for a prop? LOL!

OME, check your account info at the Sony site. I didn't get an email yet either, but it says it's been shipped on the website. I'll probably get the email after I get the actual goods. lol!

Flagg, he told us when he was in the chat Saturday night :)

Austin, thanks a bunch for the blow-by. I had to work and only got to listen to the first 3 songs or so. I really like reading what he said about other guitar players. Man, I love hearing Joe talk. Bummer I had to miss it.

Bil, on The Bone earlier today, they had some guy call in who wanted them to call his ex, who cheated on him, to see if she would get back together with him. He said he still loved her and forgave her. She was pretty much done with poor Wade, which probably led her to sleep with guy #2. She said she didn't love him and it was OVER. lol! The radio guys were having a ball with it. The guy sounded so bummed - a bit unstable too. lol! She cut him off hard! lol!

Ahh yeah, their playin' Stevie Ray on The Bone :-D

Aww dammit Austin! I didn't scroll down that far. There's a 0 at my autographed cd cover too! I REALLY hope they send them out soon. What the hell are we going to get? The closed package unsigned cd and a signed booklet later? The sigs are the only reason I paid extra for them too. That kinda blows, now doesn't it.

***JOE, whut up with the autographed cd covers? Do you know why we're not getting them with the cd from Sony? Will we be getting them later? It's bad enough we didn't get the cd & DVD on the 24th when they were released, but now the covers are being held up. It says we're getting the signed cover for the DVD, but the cd covers haven't been shipped yet. When it comes to the release of Satriani merchandise, patience is not my best virtue. lol!

Eva, Iceland = the land of ice goblins. lol! I'd love to see some of your pictures :) Happy 200!

Mikey, baby I'm a Leo! lol! I was just asking if we had any leap babies in here. Anyways, if I were only a quarter of my age I'd be a whole 9 3/4 yrs. old! lol! Even though I don't look a day over 38! lmao!!

rusty dog, thanks! It didn't make it here today, so maybe tomorrow. Pisser is, my mailman must have changed his route. I've been getting my mail before 10 a.m. for months. This week it's not even here by the time I leave for work around 3:00!! I'm ready to bust a cap in this guys ass. LOL! j/k

Ya Yo, lay off the milk! lol!

Cube, um, it's just you dude.

man, 6 pages in one day - lemme continue on...

UF Dean ( I think it was you), I just watched R. Williams Live on Broadway again tonight. Every time he gets to the part near the end where he starts doing the accents I lose it. By the time he starts explaining how the Scots created golf, I'm laughing so hard I can't breathe! I laughed/cried so hard it wore me OUT! lol! Good, good stuff!

Heeeeeeey BOYD! It's after midnight here on the east coast, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Party on Wayne!

Austin, I'll get to round whateverthenewestoneis with the voting some time this weekend. I just hope I remember...

Mikey, I just read your new name, and I swear that when I read your post, I could see you talking Japanese, with English words overdubbed - just like in the movies. LMAO!!! I always save the "older than dirt" remark for my oldest sis who just turned 45. Compared to her, I'm fresh as a daisy! lmao! That means you're even fresher...sir. lol! I remember being called Ma'am a few years ago for the first time by a kid in the grocery store. I just started at him and said "Dude...Ma'am? Now that hurts." And we had a laugh. I felt that sting for a few days, but I knew the kid was only trying to be polite. It still makes me want to hurt somebody when they call me Ma'am, but I guess it's a fact of life? I guess we're in the Ma'am/Sir years. LOL!

Ethn, I'm tellin' ya bro, Captain Morgan & ginger ale. Elixir of the Gods!

Austin, it was the post about the dental floss trip wire, wasn't it? lol! Oh, and I don't care who Bush captures - I still wouldn't vote for him :)

edit - mam? maam? Ma'am? Hey lady!

JOE*****, the DVD is awesome! I got a seperate cover with all your sigs on it, so thanks for that. I gotta tell you, when I watched The Extremist - OMG! It brought back so many wonderful emotions from the show. When the song got to the lead up to the second harp part, I had tears in my eyes and could barely see the T.V. That's my favorite part of the song and you guys never fail to kick it's ass with everything you got. The joy your music brings is undescribable. Happy, HAPPY tears! It's the best feeling in the world to watch you guys onstage, then to have all those great memories on DVD right in your own livingroom - it doesn't get any better than that. My 15 yr. old even got off the computer to watch it with me. lol! Anybody who has a teenage daughter knows it takes a lot to get them off the computer. lol! My husband was loving it too. ha! I gotta tell ya Joe, you looked a bit nervous playing Midnight. lol! It was great! I was sooooo happy to see that Steve's band played I'm The Hell Outta Here. That was the most KILLER show I've seen in any G3! That part of the show was so much friggin' fun! Yngwie was fun to watch too. Shame he ripped his hands up like that. lol! The G3 Jam was insane! All 3 songs were killer, but I think I like Voodoo Child the best. The stage background was awesome!

Oh yeah, lets not forget to mention how HOT Jeff was on MPHGT!! Extra rolls and all! Man, I was ready to jump out of my skin just watching this DVD.

The only negatives I have (and they're small ones) are that the cameras don't hit Matt & Galen, Tony Mac & Weiner (lunch anyone? lmao!), and Yngwie's bandmates enough. I was a tiny bit disappointed, but the DVD was fantastic. It does get some good shots of the drummers though, so that's always a plus :)

I hope everyone who ordered from Sony gets them today. You're all going to love it.

I'm off to listen to the cd. I didn't receive the signed booklet for it yet, but I assume it's on its way.

Three thumbs up!

Is the Vai DVD this the only thing on both G3 cd's? Not that it's not enough, but I thought there would be something different on each cd. Am I missing something?

Julie, take lots of pictures so you can place them around the house when you come home to remind you of how wonderful life can be :) Man, it sounds like a fantastic trip!

mari, :-)

megaboyd, my daughters 9th grade class is going on a field trip to the NJ Aquarium and to see the USS New Jersey. One of the stops will be Dave & Buster's in Philly. Is that like a bar/arcade type place? I never had field trips like that when I was in school. lol!

zonin, Joe actually said he's thinking about doing a Hendrix cd? Holy shit man, that would be KILLER!!!

The Oscars should be renamed The Lord Of The Rings Award Show. It's a shame all the other great movies don't have a chance...boo-hiss!

Doesn't Catherine Zeta Jones look amazing!

Anybody see Tiger Woods doing the Caddy Shack/Bill Murray commercial with the gopher? Funny as hell man!

Looking forward to a few hours alone tomorrow to really air out the G3 DVD in the home theater system. Lawd have mercy! lol! The Extremist will come ALIVE tomorrow! LOL! I'm going to have that S.O.B. so freakin' loud! Better wear a helmet! lol!

LOTR won again for the best song, but it's cool ~ Annie Lennox got an Oscar.

zonin, I was on the edge of my seat and had goosebumps reading your review. That had to be the ultimate in shows. When you said the crowd was singing "fly on my sweet angel - fly on through the sky - fly on my sweet angel - tomorrow i will be by your side", man, I would have been crying like a baby. A friend of mine (thanks Kel!) made wallpaper with the American flag as the background, and Jimi in the foreground with those words across the flag. I had that up on my computer for weeks after Sept. 11th. It's a beautiful, beautiful song, but for me it took on a very emotional meaning. I'm sure the heavens were smiling down on the stage that night. As for Buddy Guy, my husband and I have seen him twice. He is one badass blues player. Man, seeing all those players on one stage ~ I can't imagine how incredibly awesome that must have been. Like I said, the ultimate in shows.

Ben E, engrish it was :)

What's with everybody getting their teeth pulled? lol! Good luck to you all.

Boyd, they leave at 7:45 a.m. and return at 11:30 p.m., so I guess they have to have time to unwind, eat and whatever for an hour & a half at D & B. My field trips were never like that! I know she'll take plenty of pictures, so that will be cool.

Neil, a class with Dave Stewart! Now that's very cool! Enjoy the snow! lol!

Time to get my coffee and turn on the G3 DVD with the volume on infinity :)

JOE, PLEASE DO A HENDRIX TRIBUTE ALBUM!!!

Geez man, I'm thinking about going out and buying Yngwie's new cd after watching this DVD. We have one of his albums from the early 1800's. lol! I don't even remember which one it is? Time for a new one. You really have a chance to check out Yng's bling on this DVD. lol! I don't know how he can play so fast with those big rings on. He should open up a small rock & roll jewelry store and name it YNG'S BLING. lmao!

I forgot to mention - we went to Best Buy over the weekend. I always take one of Joe's cd's and DVD's and prop one on the shelf at eye level above his spot so people can see our boy Joe. He's kinda low on the shelves because of where he falls alphabetically. Anyways, I propped them, walked around the store for a bit, then went back to see if they were still there. The cd was, but the DVD was gone :) It wasn't put back on the shelf anywhere, so somebody must have bought it :) Yes folks, little things like this amuse me. lol!

I have a question - Yngwie doesn't list or mention his bass player in the cd booklet. Anybody know why?

mikesb, ha! That protocal kinda sucks! lol! Yngwie's bassist is listed on the DVD credits - Mick Covice or something like that. I seen it a few hours ago so static has had time to refill my brain. lol! He looks a bit like Geddy back in the day. Glad you got the cd & DVD ~ pretty damn cool, ain't it :) As for the hair on Joe's arms ~ reminds me of Robin Williams, who refers to himself as a chia pet. lol! Oh well, you is what you is.

UF Dean, so glad you got your stuff today! You're going to LOVE the DVD!!

Hey Danny K!

OME, I never got an email either.
