I would love to see 2~3 hours of Joe & his band, but Joe with Dream Theater is going to be a KILLER show! I've only been a DT fan for about a year (since before G3) and they put on a fantastic show. Portnoy is the best drummer in the world IMO! Each member of this band is phenomenal! The same for Joe's band. The best of the best!

YAYO, I have the same problem. I used to scan, now my eyeballs get locked in each box unable to smoothly run down the page. It's like some sort of twisted speed bumps for the eyes! Another thing...is there like 500 new members this week? Were all you ppl. lurking in the shadows of the old T2J page?

PSYCHO MONKEY, I'm hoping and praying that I get to "see" Joe this time around. The Tweeter Center is a BIG place. If I do get a face to face with him, I'll try REAL hard to remember "Chrispy sends his best regards!". LOL!!

Also, I'm heartbroken that I won't be seeing Jr this time around either. We're going to different shows ;-(

My advice is to take a walk and burn off some energy while listening to Megadeth (Sweating Bullets) or Godsmack (Whatever) on your headphones. Higain, when I hear Time, it takes me back to seeing Joe live. It was the opener for the show and I still find myself getting goosebumps when I hear the beginning of it. I Believe reminds me of alot of things, but it always puts a smile on my face. I think of the guys in the tattoo shop singing the words "I Believe" along with the tape I gave them as I was getting tattooed. OMG, it was so funny! That still cracks me up!

Kriztal Planet, thanks for the info. I knew it was those Clear Channel bastards. The thing is, I don't go to enough concerts to throw down an extra $60 a year, nor can I afford it. Every show I've been to so far had no presale ca-ca attached to them, which would have been a total waste of that $60 bucks. This is the first time I've come across it, and it figures, it would be the best show ever.

JS Clone 1, did you see the G3 show with Petrucci & Portnoy? That was only 2/5 of the band! When you have them all together it's awesome! We seen DT for the first time back in March and they put on a KILLER show. The crowd was amazing ~ literally hanging from the rafters! I understand wanting to see Joe for the full show (who wouldn't), but this is like having Captain Morgan with that lonely bottle of gingerale :) lol! or for you youngin's, iceing on the cake.

You don't "have to" love the fact that their playing together, nobody does, but hopefully you'll change your tune after you see them play.

Extreme difference from EOC to SBM. This lovely gem is soaking right in, while EOC knocked ya flat on your bum and took a few listens to digest.

I have Mind Storm cranked UP and I only have one complaint - it's to short! That could have been a 10 minute jam with a little more wiggidy-wiggidy-wack in the middle lol!

I forgot to mention ~ when I bought SBM, I was so excited to have it that I started opening it while I was driving. I don't even have a cd player in my car! I just wanted to see what the insert & the cd looked like. I ripped off the plastic wrap and threw it at my daughter as she called me names like psycho woman, then peeled the sticker part with the words on it off the top of the cd. Amazingly, it all came off in one piece (it never does), so I stuck it to the top of my windshield. lol! Now every time I get in my car I think " I'm so retarded, it's still there!". I have no idea when I'll peel it off? So now I drive around with this sticker on my window that says Joe Satriani ~ Strange Beautiful Music ~ and I have a sh*t eatin' grin on my face to go with it.
