Joe - Year of the monkey? Shouldnt it be the year of the alien?!

Michelle - I was right on the harbour watching those fireworks. Or thats what my friends tell me, i cant remember much of New Years, i think that means it must have been killer

Jeff Buckley's music is incredible. Its worth the 15 times you play his CD before you get into his music!

And OMG, Petrucci's solos blow on Train of Thought! I hope his solo project is more melodic.

Dizzy - the piezo pickup is simply a pickup that they normally put on an acoustic guitar. Although the electric guitar lacks the dimensions of an acoustic guitar to fully give a full acoustic sound, the piezo doesnt sound half bad, and is great for live application when you have to go from an acoustic part straight into a soaring lead, or heavy riff.

Mick87 - I am still around.

Hooked up some studio time (aah analogue 24 track STUDER!!!!) hooked up some of the best session guys in Sydney and am borrowing some cool gear, (a Boogie Quad, Marshal JCM and My new Rivera for sounds , a les paul, strat, tele, JS1 and ibanez talman for geetars) hopefully with some cool results. Now i just need a new guitar dammit!

Chris Peters - Riveras are very cool amps, but you need the right cabs. i have a 2x12 with eminence speakers in them (used in fenders) and the sound is o k. i plugged it into a friends marshall jcm900 half stack cab with celestians, and the difference was huge.

the distortion reminds me of a soldano type of gain, but i can get british tones, and the clean channel is godly. Plus it has two modes 25watt and 55 watt, and through a 4x12 25 watts mode is more than enough to fill a mid sized hall.

check them out for yourself, if you are after a different , yet really cool tone.

hello all. thanks for the birthday wishes. i have re-emerged to the internet after reports of some guy called 'khaos' over at guitars101.com posting some of my covers and original songs as his! after dealing with completely idiotic forum management who would not ban this guy, i thought i would return to somewhere where there are no idiots!

Joe Satriani > Thanks for the thanks, but you should really be thanking yourself for the inspiration. Dont forget to thank the 5/4 time signature as well.

If I had known you were actually going to listen to it, i would have spruced it up a bit, so my apologies for the very basic CD. Thanks for not throwing it in the bin!

You may be a guitar hero, but you still have time for the little people. That is why we love you. Well that, and the arpeggios in Crushing Day.

Thanks to Michelle as well.

To everyone who asked about the CD, it was a little three song demo i put together. A real full length CD has been in the works for quite some time, i just need to write some more appropriate material. I will be singing it to the high heavens when it is completed, dont you worry!
