I definetely think that G3 with Joe, Steve, & Yngwie has got to be a DVD moment... not everyone will have a chance to see this historic event Live but they might have a better oportunity to see it captured on DVD Video with sound crisp and clear and the sharpest picture with lots of close ups of these guitar nuts wacking away on the Fretboard...

962!!!

G3 stands for "3 Guitars" sort of like "3 Tenors" or something like that... G3 is short form for a longer meaning but I basically narrowed it down...

Peace!!!

Here's my latest T2J Poll...

If people think that Yngwie Malmsteen will quit the G3 tour early on the account of him confirming he's a supreme asshole? say: Yngwie Sucks!!

If people think that Yngwie Malmsteen will stick it out for the whole tour and actually surprise the heck out of us? say : Well great horny toads, how be about that...

Sorry to offend gang... but... that's my 2 cents worth...

I walk a fine line with Yngwie in the conversation... I respect what he does on stage and in the studio but the guy talks too damn much... I can't get over it... Sorry... As Frank Zappa said "Shut Up, And Play Yer Guitar"

I will still buy a ticket for G3, go see him and get right into what he's doing just as much as Joe & Steve, but all the damn interviews I've seen him in and read all the articles on him, it's just too darn much to deal with...

I guess what I'm trying to say is that Attitude should play a little into what goes on in the music business... In one stand point I guess you have to have a hard edged attitude to succeed in the business... and on the other hand, don't you think a gracious attitude and a little common decency can go a long way?? Accepting a pat on the back can come natural, demanding a pat on the back is another thing...

Great News to see Joe hard at it once again to record another album...

Don't let anything leak this time Joe... If it were me I'd give Sony/Epic heck for what happened... and hold them personally responsible... it wasn't even in stores, 2 months to go before that happened as I do recall...

Accidents or not...

They leaked an important recording of yours; Songs that could quite possibly be your best stuff...

I'd keep the recordings secret and locked up somewhere until the last possible moment, until the day it goes to the CD manufacturing department... I wouldn't let the crusty executives listen to a single note until the day it was released if I had it my way...

Adrianorb!!

During the finalization of Strange Beautiful Music the album was deliberatly leaked onto the internet and a website that's famous for piracy had the whole entire album available for download free of charge, 2 months before it even was released into record stores...

Well Joe... I've had a pretty cool couple of days installing my new and improved Sony Sound System in my 99' Jeep Cheroke Sport... 5 1/4" & 6 1/2" XPLOD Speakers and 10" XPLOD Pentagon SubWoofer with carpeted speaker box...

The 1st CD I had to play in it just absolutely had to be EOC!!

I threw on Attack, Champagne, Flavour Crystal 7, Borg Sex, Power Cosmic 1 & 2, Slow & Easy etc... and was absolutely amazed at the subsonic frequencies hidden in those tunes that only a Subwoofer can bark out... I have more respect for that recording even more so now...

Beat the foking fury out of Yngwie.... get thrown in Jail & get bunk mates named Shirly and Bubba and have a grand ole time!!

Welp gang, I have a very difficult decision to make... and I have a feeling that it will lean heavily toward me not attending the G3 show unfortunately...

I promised the Wife that I would take her to go see Peter Frampton this year at Casino Rama, and it just so happens that it falls on the same night as the Toronto G3 show at Massey Hall... It likely starts at the same time as well... 8:00pm....

So, what do I do in this case???

1. Break me lady's heart and decide to go to the G3 show???

or...

2. Make her a very happy camper and buy tickets to the Peter Frampton show which is like 10 minutes away from where I live...

Toronto is more than an hour away from where I live and it has it's reputation about being just as dangerous as NYC. I know this to be true and my Wife doesn't usually like me going down there too often unfortunately...

Sorry Joe... I would have loved to see you again live this year around, but Peter Frampton's a good musician as well and my wife just loves his stuff,

I can't disappoint her...

Personally I prefer seeing you Joe when you headline the show and it's usually only you performing as well! the best concert I've seen was the EOC tour... nearly 3 hours of Satch tunes live... that's the only way to fly!!!

Peace Joe and again I'm sorry!

Super Dave!!

Yeah, it's an alright place to visit sometimes, but Massey Hall is in a bit of a bad location... too many homeless people hang out there after the shows, and quite nearly try to force the change out of your pockets... probably 10 times worse than the "Squigie Kids" that try to wash the windows on your cars while you're practically in motion still LOL...

JS Clone 1

"Wife" is more a technical term than a marriage... No we're not married but the government said we are. I even had to phone them about it over a GST cheque situation, and they said yes you might as well be married... it's been just over a year since we've been living together so Common Law is pretty much the same as a legal marriage...

Trutina

It was a tough situation but I pretty much have to do it,... As Steve Stifler (from American Pie 2) would say... "Ok Guys, I'm taking one for the team" LOL my girlfriend even said don't worry about it I'll be fine, but I know how much she wants to see Frampton... I wouldn't mind seeing it either, I just wish they were on different nights that's all. I had to make a judgement call I think it's the right one!!

Ovation 1

Yeah, Peter Frampton was supposed to play at this thing called "Watershed" this year but because of Sars, Mad Cow scares, West NIle Virus & the B.C. and Alberta forest fires... they decided to cancel the concert because there's worse things going on in Canada than a bad conspiracy with the Walkerton tainted water supply... "Watershed" is a relief concert for the people that died or got very ill a couple of years back in a horrible above mentioned tainted water scare... & they already had a relief show for SARS in Toronto with The Stones headlining anyway... Peter decided he still wanted to visit Canada for a show, so north of Toronto was the best place they had in mind... It's real close to home, I can't really complain...
