Ok Gang!!

If any of you were wondering about Zach's Trembolt!!

"IT WORKS"

And very easy to install... took me 10 mins without removing any strings or the bridge for that matter!

I was strumming a D chord like there was no tommorow and at the same time Detuned my Low E till there was no tension at all, and the rest of the strings stayed perfectly in tune, without a single waver!! I then messed around with it by tuning that string back up to 1st A and played around... all strings were still in perfect tune, then I tuned it to D and messed around, still were in perfect tune! and then back up to E... works great... you have loosen the locker for the E & A string to do this mind you but the guitar thinks it's got a stop tail bridge instead of a Floyd Trem! I kid you not!!

Great Product Zach!! Thanks again so much for letting me try it out...

I hope Joe loves this thing!

Peace! Barrie!

Hey Trutina!!!

By the way! what's the final art work that we've all decided on the T2J CD? you probably had it posted but I never got to see the end result....

On another note... Trying out for a band on the weekend... they'll cover anything from Pink Floyd, Tom Petty, and the Wallflowers.. I'll see if the guys are interested in trying out some Satch tunes... WITH YOUR PERMISSION OF COURSE JOE?

PEACE!!

Barrie!

No Way?

Joe Sang a Neil Young Tune for an encore? "Rockin In The Free World"?!?!?

Entertaining... and Interesting... Neil Young is a funny one... he's got his own way of sredding... out in left field... I think Cinnamin Girl would have been a cool jam...

Yeah Joe!

I agree with you about your setlist...

Those are all great songs definetly in there but I think it's good to kind of mix it up and play whatever you feel like playing! The fans I think would love that...

Throw something in your set that the fans would love to hear once in a while... Leave it wide open!

Hope I'm not holding the rest of the gang up on the T2J CD... I still have to mail my Agreement to Bil (Trutina)...

I've been so busy with the band that I just officially joined tonight! and I'm officially going to be gigging with them on December 6th at a Charity Dance and well hehe we're the entertainment... LOL

Speaking on behalf of my band... we need a name badly... the one that they kind of clung on to was:

"Gasoline Rainbow" It's ok... But it doesn't really jump out at me...

And our tunes are more of a mixed Hard Rock/Folk type nature... We're mixing Acoustic and Hard Electric Rhythms and a bit of Funk Slap Bass... Interesting variables but trust me we get going and it all fits...hehe

Death Cube K!!! Mark Buddy!!

You said earlier that you couldn't work for awhile! what happened man?

Seeing Frampton in a couple of days... That is cool... what's not cool is that I'm missing Joe and the gang that night... But it's Frampton and I haven't seen him yet in concert so that's cool, as I've said before I see Joe every year nearly and I'd prefer him being on his own and have like a 2 to 3 hour show out of the deal..

Anyways...

Peace... Barrie

Hey Mark, sorry to hear about that... let's hope it gets better very soon & take care from here on in...

Man, I tell you, strange things are going around these days...

I myself for the last 3 months have had some strange lung infection... the doctor thinks it might be asthma but I know it's more than that...

It's like I've been runnin on one lung for the last 3 months at least until now... for 2 of those months I could only breathe in short calm breaths but as soon as I would inhale deaply it's like my lungs locked up on me and I choke, hack and go blue in the face... I haven't had a whole lot of energy either because of it... It's lucky in a way that it's been seriously slow where I work because I could have been out of a job if it was busy, they hate people taking time off regardless of the situation...

I'm about to rant majorly

They don't provide sick day coverage at all.. which means that if we're not there you don't get paid... Which really hurt a guy that I worked with a few years back... he had a bleeding bowel and had it opperated on one day. and was able to come back to work the very next day or so he thought, he came to work and started to hemmorage internally without his knowledge (it turned out the doctors botched the operation he had the day before) he ended up going home early one day feeling sick and then collapsed at home, his girlfriend called the ambulance and all that stuff and it seemed he was very much on his death bed for a few weeks there until finally after 2 months, he recovered from it... But no sympathy from the employer! they advanced him a month's worth of salary but on top of working a full 9 hours was forced to work an extra 4 hours a night until he fully paid back the money he was given... People like that should have no business controlling a company as the people I work for do...

Webmaster

SLS Needs to be shut down permanently... I personally think it's come to the point that these guys that do multiple posting of the same messages, have to be made an example of the situation and permanently banned from http://www.satriani.com... This will hopefully give people fair warning that spam, fulgar language, and heckling Joe himself is just not acceptable.

Trutina - Welcome back dude... don't give up on relationships yet man... it's just a matter of finding the right gal and all that great stuff... oh one more thing..... I'm still trying to find time to mail the CD agreement... not sure if you read any of my earlier messages last night but I've been battling some sort of a Lung problem, and because of it, my energy is very low and trying to jam with this band is murder too boot, late nights, early mornings have taken their toll "let me tell you..." all I want to do is sleep when I'm home and I'm barely ever home long enough to do that... it sucks

Johnny Aimless... man that was a nasty review, certainly not favourable to Joe that's for sure... obviously the writer of this "filth" has no respect for real talent.. so without further delay here's the review from "The Palm Beach Post"

Satriani runs second to Vai again on G3 tour

By Bill Meredith, Special to The Palm Beach Post Sunday, November 2, 2003

Guitarist Joe Satriani has a knack for perfecting things early, then inexplicably changing them. His 1987 album Surfing With the Alien was a landmark instrumental rock release, but then Satriani chose to feature his mediocre singing.

The funky 1995 CD Joe Satriani reinvented the guitarist (who sounded like an organic second coming of Jeff Beck), only to find him reverting to a sterile metallic version of his former self.

The reason? The G3 Tour, which Satriani started in 1996, using former student Steve Vai and Texas virtuoso Eric Johnson as his opening acts. True to form, the first G3 Tour was the best -- even if Vai's showmanship and Johnson's wizardry repeatedly made Satriani's closing set anticlimactic.

The result? A more note-happy Satriani trying to keep up. The proof? The current G3 Tour, with Vai and Swedish shredder Yngwie Malmsteen, which appeared at the Kravis Center on Halloween night.

To his credit, Satriani wasn't blown away this time. He's learned that his previous trios didn't allow for coverage of all his own recorded overdubs, so his quartet benefited from having much-needed rhythm guitarist Galen Henson. The headliner stood out on rockers from the opening Satch Boogie to the closing Summer Song (where he traded solos with bassist Matt Bissonette).

Satriani was the most tasteful of the three during the closing jams. His wretchedly sung take of Neil Young's Rockin' In the Free World may have ended the show with a whimper, but he out-soloed Malmsteen and Vai on Jimi Hendrix's Little Wing and Voodoo Chile.

Satriani may not have been blown away by friend and former pupil Vai, but as usual, he was upstaged. The charismatic Vai has all the stage presence that the motionless Satriani lacks, and Vai's 1980s tenure in Frank Zappa's band taught him lessons that "Satch" couldn't. Supported by keyboardist/guitarist Tony MacAlpine, bassist Billy Sheehan, guitarist Dave Weiner, and drummer Jeremy Coulson, Vai shook his guitar violently by the whammy bar and turned the device in circles as if it were a coffee-grinder.

Vai's set was also a welcome relief from that of Malmsteen, the dated-sounding 1980s overplayer that Satriani hand-picked to avoid finishing third this year. After the two opening tunes, Evil Eye and Baroque 'N' Roll, Malmsteen had proven to be the musical equivalent of a conversationalist obsessed with the sound of his own voice.

Wow! Cool... Autographed copy of the Satch Tapes on DVD... if ever there was a chance that I could get me one of these, I'd be so happy...

I've never won a thing in my life except for $5.00 to put towards another lottery ticket, but what I usually do when that happens at the convience store... I just buy some chocolate milk and called it even...

Before you know it, September rolls around, then you suddenly realize it's October then November, and then hey... Woah... December.... hold your horses buckaroo...
