Yeah, Ya Yo...
Man that suxx... A similar situation happened in Toronto last year during the G3 tour... we were all forced to sit... couldn't even stand... couldn't even approach the stage near the end like they do... Joe hated that night... He was not pleased... He said the bouncers were idiots and the whole evening blew!
So even in Canada, we have Tight Asses living amongst us...

Welp, gang... I'm getting ready to pack all my things up... ain't moving fun?
1. I have to cancel my current Internet service, and start up with another company.
2. Change my phone number to the new place.
3. Contact Hydro, Gas, & Water.
4. Sign the Legal documents, pay the down payment money.. etc...
5. Hire a Moving Truck and then it's time to pack it all up.
Can't wait... my own little music studio is a week away...
Off to see STYX tommorow night... Come Sail Away, Come Sail Away, Come Sail Away With Me Lads...
Then in a little over 2 weeks, it's off to see you Joe! hope I win the backstage passes. I'd love to meet you and ask some questions, shake hands, get photos together, send it to the developers, order enlargements & frame the best shot... etc. etc.

Just wrote a cheque to the Lawyer for $11 861.00... Buying a house is expensive stuff... Think of all the gear I could buy with that kind of money... but nope... I'm doing the right thing by moving in with the girlfriend.
Watching Eric Clapton 24 nights at the moment...Oldie but goodie! Hey Joe, I'd love for you and Nathan East & Manu Katche to work together again...

It takes one person to ruin the fun for every one especially you... Not too many artists mingle with their fans too, it's a very rare thing to see that... I hope that this type of thing doesn't change your mind in letting anyone backstage... Again Joe, I'm sorry to hear this and I hope you find it and the culprit!!!

Yeah Joe... I'm still upset about that...
I don't know if it was your favourite... but it was certainly mine...
What you did with that guitar in the Live In San Fransisco DVD for the first few songs especially "Satch Boogie" that was just beyond words... That version of Satch Boogie just blows my mind... Those Pearly Gates sound so awsome in that guitar!
Return it, whoever you are... You should be Lynched and then Hung!! A bit drastic, but it's how I feel... I wish I could keep updated this weekend but I'll likely not get my Internet back until next week sometime...
God Joe... If I had a JS 10th I'd donate it to you... I'd even go out and buy Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates for you so that Mike Manning could wire that puppy up! I'm that pissed that I'd actually spend money on you to make you happy again!!!

Wow Gang!
I'm back.... A brief break from the world of satriani.com... All moved in and free Internet for as long as I like thanks to a couple of friends that run a local internet provider company!
Man, Joe I can imagine how you must feel... it's almost the same feeling when you and your first girlfriend break up or something. It hits you the same way! Especially Musicians who take pride in their instruments.
It's like your favourite sports car or something and somebody comes along and takes a pair of keys to the side of it or something. Why they think that they can accomplish something so lame is beyond me...
Keep your eyes peeled on Ebay and your local Pawn Shops gang for anyone with a suspicious looking guitar that happens to be Chrome!
Dumb! Sticks out like a sore thumb!

Yawn.... Still moving....man.... lots of stuff to do this morning and part of the afternoon.... I get an old washer from my parents for free.... still have to move my father's TV... and home entertainment stuff.... lots of fun.... then I have the pleasure of putting it all back together for him while he looks over my shoulder the whole time barking orders.... but to end the day with a bang... JOE!!!!! Toronto....tonight!!!! Hope you like the Molson Amphitheatre Joe... It's a huge venue!!! SO CRANK THE FUCKER!!!!!!

Hahaha! Joe! Yeah I was talking briefly with Eric & Richard and they said that you talked with them for so long... they couldn't beleive you took the time to talk to them that long... It really meant alot to them!!
JS Clones Eric & Richard.... I was glad to see you guys again... Unfortunate that "Beefer (Kevin)" and I couldn't stay a little longer and chat and catch up but you know how it goes when you live way out of town... hit the road...
"WhoJackAFibby, Nick Lee"... glad to finally meet you... it's too bad we couldn't join you for the dinner thingy and all...
Kevin and myself walked about 5km (10blocks) to get to the Amphitheatre and then walk back... I have some pretty nasty blisters on the bottoms of my feet but anything to scarifice to see Joe!!! I'm majorly blown away with what I saw tonight... got to get to bed now... back to moving my parents again... hope my blisters go away... Later All!

That's very sad about your Cat Michelle... I know what you're going through... my Siamese Cat (Babe) of 18 years of my life, born in 1977 and was put to sleep in 1995 was a great part of my childhood and in my early adulthood as well... We've had other cats but she was special to me... It's a special thing that the little creatures in the world have such an impact on people... It's almost as if they are another type of child to us...

This is absolutely amazing! I freaked when I finally saw it!
This is pretty neat. Apparently the owners of this house had been seeing images and hearing voices for quite a while. They did some research and found that a lady once lived in the house who lost her husband during the civil war. Legend says that she used to sit at the table and look across the fields in anticipation of her loved one returning home. He never came. So, they say she still waits.
They caught this photo of what they claim to be her. This one was wild and a little spooky once you find the ghost in the picture. It took me a few seconds to find it, but when you do it just stands out. Like one of those optical illusions. To save you some time, concentrate around the table. Best not to focus to much on one spot. Look around the table and toward the window. Give yourself a minute or two to see it!
Click on the link below for the picture. Best to enlarge. For an added touch turn up the volume, it's faint but you can hear the ghost talking sometimes in a low murmur.

Ovation 1.... Floating bridges can be a hassle, that's true... but if you want a bridge that will do anything the Floyd types will do, go for a "Wilkinson Tremelo System" that with locking tuners, now that's a setup!!!

Yep! Nick Lee! Actually the connectors on the floor boards are the same as a network cable input for a local area network! If your chord was damaged in anyway, instead of ordering one through Line 6, you could actually go to your local computer store and ask for a network cable!
I have the "Line 6 Spider 212" combo amp! and I love it! The "TubeTone" speakers are absolutely amazing and at any volume setting...infact the louder it is... the better! :)

Yeah, Matt King, JS Clone 1.... I've always wanted a basic alder body bare wood and all, but I've always wanted to take a guitar to an air brush artist and see if he could work some heavy magic on it...
I have the perfect artwork too... how about a guitar with a bunch of skulls with rotting flesh all over it? hmm... yep that's it!!! perfect!!!
I'm a guy with issues so why not have a guitar with issues??

Anyone in the Orillia, Ontario area... you should come and check it out... it's for a worthy cause (The Orillia Firefighters "The New Hope" Program for people that loose their homes in House Fires) at just 25 bucks a ticket or 35 bucks to have a sit down with Rik after the show... seats are still available but they'll sell real quick... The show starts at 7:30pm tommorow night! hope to see ya's there! The Orillia Opera House
