Hello everyone

Do the Stu - Cheers for happy 100!!

Can anyone reccomend any site that offer MP3 backing tracks just for jamming puposes? midi normally sounds pretty poor. I have checked Kazaa etc but there only seems to be the odd blues or jazz backing track.

Cheers

Olly

Hello people, and Joe! nice to see Webmaster posting as well! Nice!!

Anyone know of anywhere on the net where I can get hold of some reasonable MP3 backing tracks for jamming to? I can only seem to find very low quality ones or MIDI which are very uninspiring!!

Cheers

Olly

PS - Guitarcake - thanks for signing my IUMA comments thing!! just noticed!

Joe - great to see you back in here!! What do you think about the DS-1 seeing eye mod, I have one but I still prefer my Jap DS-1!

BeeZer - I have a similar problem with my ibanez where the strap came loose. I did it doube tight and its ok for now but I have heard that you can get some cocktail sticks and glue then into the hole and re drill the thread!! obviously if its new then take it back!!

Nice one people!!!

G3 for UK!!

Hello people

Anyone got any advice on irregular groupings of notes? When counting out a bar of music I can do the 1/8 notes easily and 1/16 notes easy enough. triplets and sextuplets? (6s) are again easy but when it comes to groups of 5 I just dont seem to be able to count them?

Any suggestions anyone?

Hope everyone is ok!

962 - I am sort of in a band at the moment but out of the 7 times I have turned up to practice, only once has everyone else turned up. its either hours late or not letting me know no one is going. very unreliable!! So I am sort of in the process of deciding what to do!! other than that im a lone guitarist!!

962 - yer its tough trying to get in a band, these guys wanted to play real unmelodic thrashy type stuff which is impossible to work lead over!! Im still in the very early stages of trying to discover my own sound and writing my own stuff!

I'll keep searching on the quest to find some other equally dedicated musicians to jam with but unfortuantely it would appear that a lot of people want to make music but arent willing to be dedicated so therefore will get nowhere!

Nico - It would be great if you could ever get a backing track for ceremony! or secret prayer? I have searched but without luck!!

Nico - Thanks so much for checking my stuff!! i should really get to doing some rmore recording some time but I cant get inspired!! I want to write my own stuff!! - have you got any recorded stuff for me to check out?

Anyone got any tips ony how to start off my inner melodic voice? (thats what i'll call it) - I cant seem to ever come up with melodies of my own which ive been trying for ages! any tips?

Stu Clone - fingerless gloves or anything stopping my strings from rusting after a week would be fantastic!! i have tried every wipe/string cleaner but to no avail! glad I dont play bass guitar or i think i would be bankrupt!!

Zachary - Good luck with your design - id be interested to see how that works, i assume its a permanent fitting to the guitar? Does it prevent you from pulling up the whammy bar though as opposed to pushing it down?

Hope everyone else is cool!

Olly
