Michelle - That is a totally cool review. That amazing that Joe knows you!
On the DS-1 thing - I have the SEM robert Keely Mod but I still much prefer the Jap DS-1 - its my Fav pedal by far. The DS-1 made in Taiwan has gone onto the 'to sell on ebay pile' as it doesnt come anywhere near the other 2!
The Jap Ds-1s go on ebay from time to time and they are never expensive, I dont think people realise the huge difference between the MIJ and MIT.
Matt King - do you have MSN at all? If anyone wants to talk mine is ollyno1uk@hotmail.com
Hope everyone is cool
Olly

OCPS440 - well its difficult to describe the tonal differences but the Jap pedal seems a lot smoother. Yes perhaps the SEM can be quite a lot cleaner but its the smoothness I like like on the MIJ, compared obviously to the Taiwan one which just sounds abrasive. - I can record some sound clips of both if you ever wanted!!
SupaaDave - im sure you won't regret your purchase. Good luck with the bidding!
Spuddle - Look forward to hearing your tunes! make sure you let me know when you have them online - perhaps try IUMA www.IUMA.com - in case you didnt already know it!
Cheers
Olly

OCPS40 - I'll try and do you those recordings asap!!
Anyone ever done a cover of FIABD - I always wanted to hear if its possible for anyone to come anywhere near Joe on that one? Anyone think they are up to the challenge? Matt king? Aarren? anyone?
Whoever was askign about using software to slow down without changing the pitch - yes you can do that with several prgs but the quality reduces dramtically - PowerTab or better still Guuitar Pro helps out enormously for slowing stuff down and hearing the notes used in fast passages.
Zachary! - Hows it goin man? I see you have loads of interest in your trembolt already! :)
Catch you all laters

Hello people, been off line the last few days as work internet got cut off!!! someones great idea that we didnt need the line anymore and just ceased it!
Jap vs Taiwan vs Keely DS-1 - I have had all of these pedals. I got rid of the Taiwan DS-1 as it doesnt even come close to the other 2. The Jap is by far my fav pedal. The keeley is good, very versatile but im to in love with the tone from the Jap DS-1.
Zach - I emailed Roland here in the UK (they deal with all the boss stuff) and they said that the ACA power supply is 9v - to be honest its quite possible that they dont know what they are talking about as it was over 10 years ago or there abouts they stopped making then in Japan. Im really interested in hearing the difference with a bit more power!! - mine says it is a ACA power supply required to run it.
Clarky - cheers for that info - i will try and check my posts whilst installing my new trembolt! Hope you are well etc!
Hope everyone is well and Beezer if ive missed you sorry about that but i will be online from now!!
