Does anyone happen to know what the red guitar is that Steve Vai uses on the Crossroads guitar duel? It looks like a Jackson but i can't tell, i've looked through the guitar gallery on vai.com but its not in their either, im just curious so if anyone knows anything, it would be interesting to hear :-D

I guess i'll ask again..........Could anyone tell me who does the lead vocals on Dream Theaters 'The Killing Hand'? I downloaded it the other day because i was thinking about buying the album with it on and it really doesn't sound like Jams Labrie...Joe Rules....

r6 The pod is excellent!! I've been using the ' sound driver ' features with midi a little bit and have got what i seem to think are a few great sounds out of my pod. I've put in and saved all of the pod settings in the front of the Total Accuracy 'Jam With Joe Satriani' Book too and they sound very much like the original sounds on the album. I'm going to order the stereo to mono cable i need to record with cubase vst sometime soon, i'll let you know how that works out........Joe Rules........umm sat here eating some dry roasted peanuts! :D! <waves>

Ok i was going to keep quiet about this rarther 'sensitive' subject but i feel quite strongly about this and i do think we should seriously kick some saddam-ass. We've all been pussy footing around him for so long while hes been fiddling away in god knows where making all sorts of weapons. I think its fairly obvious that he would definately use them on us if he was given half the chance (for crying out loud hes even used them on his own people) I think its about time we got rid of him for good, Now im only 14 and by far no expert on this subject but i just thought it right to have my say.

Hey guys, has anyone seen the new Marshall 'Model Four?' I'm doing my work experience in my local guitar shop for the next 2 weeks and we're getting one in sometime next week, 350watts of badass marshall! :D Woooo, i dunno if they'll be much 'work' done :D Mwhaha......Joe Rules.....

Ollyno1uk...someone already answered your question about why satch uses his left hand to control the whammy bar whilst he uses his right hand to pinch the harmonic....on the fast legato at the the start of flying: It took me a while to learn this but just take your time and try and learn it in bars or phrases or for the dim 'chunks' :D Do you have any knoledge of reading music? It makes getting the phrasing and timing correct on fast legato passages easier i think if you have an at least small grasp of music reading so you can tell how long each phrase etc lasts for...Its much easier than just reading the tab....Joe Rules.....

Mwahahaha Something kinda cool happened today............I am doing my work experience at my local guitar shop and a rep for Ibanez came in since a new order of 2003 range Ibanez's was going to be placed and i had the privellidge to look at the brand new 2003 Ibanez catologue (the only one in England!) and there was some very interesting stuff! The new edge pro bridges look very tasty, theres going to be one on the JS100 which i am thinking about getting since my guitar shop put an order in for one which should be coming around March, and its in white!!! Woohoo! lmao theres also a great picture of joe with his pie hat on and leather jacket with patches on his signature page :D ........Joe Rules.......

Has the Jem555 been discontinued? I looked on Ibanezrules.com and theres no mention of it whatsoever on there, does Richard Harris not bother with the 555 at all or something? ....Joe Rules.....

Smithers I'm not totally sure but i think that guitar on the back of the FIABD cover is now called 'Black Dog' I think it was repainted over black and had some design painted on it, its in the guitar gallery, so i dont think its the same guitar in the hard rock........Joe Rules......

LGU89 Of course you're not blocked on IM! I just have a new screen name that i use most of the tme now its 'Alohir Narsul' Long story about where the name comes from, its lord of the ringsy.
Jsclone I also have spezel tuners and a wilkinson bridge on my guitar and it NEVER goes out of tune, i think that combination is much better than a locking trem and nut, Do you have any pictures of this guitar anywhere? It sounds tasty, not as tasty as guitarcakes bacon, of course :D..........Joe Kicks Bottom.....: )

Ello all :D Well today the guitar shop im working in got a deliverly, 2 of Marshalls brand spankin' new 'model four' amps, and the impression so far is.......EXCELLENT!! They sound absolutely amazing, we only got them in about half an hour before closing time so tommorow we'll give them a good break in and i'll let you guys know if its thumbs up or not :D ........Joe Rules......

Has anyone heard what Jack Wylde (spelling!) has called His latest son? I think its something like 'Hendrix Halen *something*' Theres something else on the end of that but i can't remember just what it is, heck hes gonna have to live up to something with a name like that anyway!
Oh yeah, had a proper go at testing out the new Marshall 'Mode Four' head today,it absolutely rocks!!!! Retails at about £650 sterling but its worth every pound, 4 channels of fantastic Brit tone! ........Joe Rules....
