Ok hit another brick wall with Cubase VST 24 again..I'm trying to import some audio grooves that i made with fruity loops onto an audio channel on cubase 24, i did this once but there was a problem so i deleted the audio part that i inserted and tried to insert a different one..But when i try to nothing happens, it appears that if you delete an audio track that was just imported then you can't do it again. Does anyone know how to fix this pleasse?? Thankachoo.....Toodles...

SteFender i think Joe has used Oakley Eyejackets in the past, i think on the live in san francisco dvd they're either straight jackets or eye jackets with fire lenses and polished Frames..i think Joe uses 9-42 gauge although he might change 'em from time to time..Someone else will be able to give you more info than me (=...toodles..

Adrianorb Just listening to that part in Touching Tounges and lol yeah it does sound like a little dog woof, strange, maybe vai got a bit excited or something at that part...

I have a pod 2.0 and am thinking about using it straight through a cabinet, i was thinking a Marshall, 4x12 would be nice lol But i realise i'd need a pre amp/power amp to increase the output of my pod into the cabinate..does anyone have any rock solid suggestions? Or on the cabinet? I want to go as loud as possible really lol For gigs etc, I have about £400-£500 to spend, is that not enough? Should i go second hand? lol....Joe Rules.....

Edit: Bold went on a 'MAKE BOLDER-ING spree' (=

Hey all! Long time since i've been here! Just bought the G3 dvd, wish this tour had come to the UK. I'm currently listening to Starry Night the 100th time over lol What can i say about this dvd but WOW. It rocks!

Joe's tone is VERY different from when i last heard him live on the SBM tour. What amps is he using now? Is it Peavy or MesaBoogie? Whichever the tones sound much heavier =D

I must say the performance(s) that i loved the most were Vai's gobsmacking feat of guitar amazingness with the tripleneck, and the Little Wing Jam. Truly gobsmacking suff.

Roll on the new albums!

On another note. I'm currently selling off some old computer hardware and my trusty Line 6 pod to buy a lovely Marshall JCM900 2X12 combo amp. My first proper decent amp! Does anyone else have this amp or experience of using it? Opinions would be welcome!

I've only ever heard Yngwie Malmsteen's 'Black Star' and something i downloaded called 'Flamenco Diablo', he sure as hell can play faster than poo off a spade but i find his compositions very boring and repetetive. It is nice to have a change from satch and vai for that classical sound though lol I was annoyed when he smashed up that guitar..whether it be a cheapo Encore or Squier it's still a guitar and it buggs me XD
