mowlie_200...3 songs of the day...and i played always on my site....perhaps i could dedicate to him..but we mustn't go over the top in dedications.

Life goes on, we mustn't forget that

a little something i wrote a while back...and so i thought it would be appropiate to share it with you in these sad times

what we have is for ganted

you only understand something once its gone

Life is vulnerable

Life is more sacred and mortal than you think

To love is to live, to live you must love

You can have both,

but you'll only understand one

thank you

trutina....i said i was doing a short song for Justin, so i thought i could put it on the cd. I think remaining it nameless would be good so everyone can put their own title there.

ausin..enjoy your spring break....see you back on the board soon

trutina...the song should remain untitled....i just want to do the song to get it out of the way..just the way i feel about it.....difficult to explain really...

jelly man..Satch tribute band with 3 guitarists?? or pur own mini g3 gigs...that could be fun..if only i can get a band.. i have an ibanez jem so i beat neil in vai shaped guitars :P and perhaps neil = joe....me=vai and you=...hmm..dont know actually...dont know who you resemble the most...

death cube, trutina]..a 2nd cd..a christmas one...i think i'll have a song ready by september :) or at least write my own christmas song...thats going to be a challenge...

matt king..only the good die young...by Queen (minus Freddie)...perhaps you could listen to it...

mick87...whyats your email? i want to email you about something...

i haven't bought a new cd in ages...which one(s) shall i buy?? symphony x - the odyssey, live on the edge forever......................Dream Theater - once in a live time (even though i have it on the computer from when my mate lent it to me and i could copy it but then i'll have those annoying 2 second gaps in)...........Liquid Tension ( 1 or 2)......or the iron maiden rock in rio dvd.......or buy a new ps2 game?? or something for my guitar..with £40, thats not alot.

artanis1..does this mean i'm insane??

the ultra zone rocks

playing an ibanez jem(This one is better since this is based on my one) is alot like making love to a beautiful woman... first..you gaze at her beauty, taking in all those curves and bumps...you then go to the head and then work your way down, be careful of the locking nut. Feel the neck and pay attention to the strings, in particular the G string. and examine the artwork as you go down. Next is the body where we find a number of usefull toys. A hnadle for better grip when the riding gets tough and a bar, but be careful with the bar as it may upset the G string if abused. Make sure you have your volume and tone knob up full for maximum effect. Select which pickup you want, the bridge (of the nose), the neck or the middle - the middle usually has better actions. Round the back you find 2 covered holes and 4 screws, make sure you pick the right one for any adjustments.

i hope this has been useful and may you enjoy your ibanez jem/woman :D :P :)

jelly man..about vai and satch scales...vai usues more exotic scales and modes than satch..thats why his songs sound different and have a different flavour to them...satch tends to use the same modes and scales.

McDave..there are heavier and more progessive players than Joe. like John Petrucci for one. Steve Vai is more progessive in some ways. and guitar players in bands like Opeth are heavier and more progessive
