dark high 2002..Joe at glastonbury would be like trying to find a completed piece of homework in a male students uni flat....it serves a purpose but its impossible
bahumit12...changing all the strings, to prevent the floyd rose from going out of place if its a floating trem like i've got, then i change the strings invidually. what kind of floyd rose is it and what guitar have you got?
matt king..that trip sounds cool..mix between crystal planet and extremist tiems i reckon...dont know about a name though...i'm not too good with naming songs
i had really cool but wierd dream last night...first of all it started with the spanish grand prix been hlated cos the track had been covered in volcanic ash after a volcanic eruption. then we broke into this building with blacked out windows and it turned out to be a big music shop/music show of some sort. so it gradually turned into this. we stole some pickups cos no-one el;se was about. then all of a sudden John Petrucci and Mike Portnoy appear with their guitar and drumkit all set up in one place. then it went into a sort of music clinic with these 2. by that time loads of people were there. after that i spoke to JP and he wrote down something along the lines of - "to achieve your dreams, you must work hard" and signed it and i spoke to him about coming over to the uk. then that dissapeared to some washnig machines and other household appliances...
told you it was wierd...lol

the prez..there would be 2 guitars playing on not of this earth. same with the other songs that you said. there would no way you can quickly perform that stretch everytime without hurting yourself, but then Joe is an alien :P i recommend you use 2 guitars to do chords like that :) makes it easier to play :)

the prez..i haven't seen Joe perform not of this earth live, i would presume the rythmn guitarist plays it or plays it differently. the tab books say what notes he plays (usually), not how the artist plays it (usually). so, i guess either Joe plays it differently live or gets the rythmn guitarist to play that. my guess it would be played differently to what it says in the book. - rythmn guitrist included

heres the glasgow earthquake joke -
URGENT GLASGOW EARTHQUAKE APPEAL
AT 00.54 ON MONDAY 17 FEBRUARY 2003 A MAJOR EARTHQUAKE HIT MEASURING
4.8
ON THE RICHTER SCALE EPICENTERED ON GLASGOW
Victims can be seen wandering aimlessly muttering: "Ah wiz shittin'
massel", "Ah need some jellies", "Ah need a fag"
The Earthquake decimated the area, causing approximately £30 worth of
damage, with the exception of the Possil area, where approx £375,000 of improvements were made.
Untold disruption and distress were caused:-
Many were woken well before their giro arrived
Several priceless collections of mementos from the Balearics and Spanish Costas were damaged
Three areas of historic and scientfically significant litter were
disturbed
The cone fell off the head of the statue of the Duke of Wellington
outside
the Gallery of Modern Art onto his horse, Copenhagen. It managed to remain on the horse's head, albeit at a jaunty angle>Thousands are confused and bewildered, trying to come to terms with the fact that something intersting has happened in Glasgow. One resident, Mary-Alice McGregor, a 17 year old mother of three said "I>was such a shock, little Chelsea came running into my bedroom crying. My
youngest two, Tyler-Morgan and Shania slept through it. I was still shaking when I was watching Trisha the next morning."
Apparently though, looting did carry on as normal The British Red Cross have so far managed to ship 4000 crates of Buckfast Tonic Wine to the area to help the stricken masses.
Rescue workers are still searching through the rubble and have found large quantities of personal belongings including benefit books and jewellery from Elizabeth Duke at Argos.

OME and guitarcake..i write purely instrumental music, its actually easy once you get into it, but its still hard to makie it sound good and professional, and also easy to record because you just have instruments and not have to worry about vocals and geting someone to sing..with instrumental music, you can include stuff that wouldn't be possible with vocals, such as quick key signature changes and odd time signatures all over the place - see Dream Theater. they do a near perfect blend of instrumental sections/songs and vocals in their songs....
artanis1..wasn't dead ringers originally on radio??
i also like the ozzy osbourne one they did - "Hi, i'm ozzy osbourne, and christmas is a time for remembering...well i'm fucked then.." lol
narface..lucky you, my "important" exams are yet to come, ones that i'm supposed to revise for..i'll get round to it eventually...got some on the 2nd,3rd and 4th of June...biology, music and chemistry (in that order on those days i think)
