clarky..reading your above post about the music telling a story..i agree with that but that sometimes doesn't happen for me, i got this great idea that i've turned into a bit of a song, its in 7/8 but not that overly complicated, just a simple arrpegio and the song develops, building up, then i dont know where to go...a mellody over 7/8 is kinda tricky. i got this other section, but at first it seems like a new song but the rythmn is similar even though its in 4/4 and a different key. although going from Dmin to D dorian isn't that much a jump...hmmm...but they sound different...hmm...any ideas?

clarky...yeah...i've kinda left the 4/4 bit out...(and stuck another one in that sounds better) and concentrated on the 7/8 bit and making that into the basis of the song.

defino pie..i saw the one bit where the crocodile seemd to fly thru the air and manage to splash back in the water without causing a wave...he should enter into the olympic diving..he should be able to win...then again he'll probably eat the other competitors in a non-realistic way anyway :P
