Now the t2joe is not so bright how about changing the chat so its faster and the new site is..well....different , not sure if i like it but it'll grow on me..why change the order of new at top and all these different pages? its confusing..webmaster - can you pleeease explain it by putting an explanation thing at the side to help you guide round this and that...you may know where and how and why but we dont..(not everything anyway)...ordered the tickets for birmingham..haven't arrived yet...anyone else going to birmigham - how long did it take for your tickets to arrive?..bye for now..

SLEEP WALK IS KINDA WIERD..AND THE REST ARE GREAT
although i hate to be mean to joe but the rythmn guitar on a few of the tracks appear to be the same or the same chords or same rythmn or all 3 in one or two cases...

I WORKED OUT THE RIFF TO MINDSTORM AND I WAS NEARLY RIGHT WHEN I SHOWED MY GUITAR TEACHER IT...I CAN NOW PLAY THAT RIFF AND I KNOW THE REALLY AMAZING SOLO HE DOES AT ABOUT 2:06 IN MINDSTORM AND HILL GROOVE IS NIIIIICE...I CAN PLAY THAT ONE TOO......HEHE...ANYWAY....I'M SURE THE TABS WILL BE OUT IN FORCE ON THE NET SOONER RATHER THAN LATER AND I'M PRETTY SURE SOMEONE CAN ACTUALLY PLAY THAT MINDSTORM SOLO COS I CANT..ITS TOO HARD!!!...GREAT USE OF THE HARMONISER IN THAT SONG JOE....THE ALBUM REALLY KICKS ASS AND YOU BETTER PLAY MINDSTORM COS IF YOU DONT I WANT MY MOMEY BACK...AND DONT PLAY AT THE BIRMINGHAM ACADEMY AGAIN COS ITS TOO EXPENSIVE!! ETHN - THAT WOULD BE NEARLY CORRECT FOR THE SWEEP PICKING IN MINDSTORM BUT HE USES A MAJ AND MIN SCALE IN THE SWEEP PICKING BUT HE GOES -
A -16 , D - 18 , G - 18 , B - 17 - E - 16h21p16 , THEN BACK DOWN - THE MAJ SWEEP IS G - 19 , B - 19 - E - 17h22p17 , THEN BACK DOWN , THEN HE GOES INTO SOME A PENTATONIC MAJ7 STUFF.....

its a sad day for the who fans i send my condolences to the band and johns family...i saw the who in october 2000 at the NEC and they were amazing...john was a legend..R.I.P
Is this loop still going on the SBM album cos i haven't heard it..it kept stopping and atrating on this website and the other thing that some-one mentioned didn't do anything...?
Get A Loaf , i will try mindstorm , here we go...its starts of with a Bm chord with hammer and pull of on the top E , the main riff then starts on a 7 string guitar , A Bmaj chord with hammer and pull off on the A string at the 4 and 5 and 5 on E , the main melody then starts , then at 0:43 , 6 guitar tracks come in all harmonised together , in Live gigs , joe will use a harmoniser cos no way would ahe and a rythmn guitarist would be able to do that. Then another bit of lead in whatver key it is...then joe uses a glass slide on the top 2 strings to get that strange sound from 1:52 to 2:06 , then he goes into a C# maj and min sweep picking then into an Am pentatonic maj7 scale in the next bit...at 2:41 he repeats the opening Bm chord with a high B (19 fret on top e) , at 2:49 , he then repeats the main melody section heard earlier in the song including the harmonising bit and then the ending is a B chord hit 8 times..there we go..not too hard was it? :)

Hi people...back again....
Get A Loaf - ok..well.mind storm has is a kick ass rock tune and i can imagine several hundered people all head banging to the riff in concert (lol)....
Kda - i am 17 and The Who show i went to had alot of younger people in the audience.And all the album is great , espeically Mind Storm , New Last Jam , Mountain Song ..the list is 14 tracks long...
Selpum just play anyway you feel the most comfortable

I cant really see anyone talking to Joe..this is supposed to be where you ask Joe stuff but we tend to talk to each other..but since Joe is now on tour duties he cant really be on here..but before he went on tour duties and after finishing the album...there was still an apparent lack of "talking to Joe"..but...as i said..he's on a tour now...so..well...yes..bye

i have the opening bit to mountain song..the way i worked it out was wrong..but i have the correct version..did u know there's 2 guitars playing in that opening bit??..well..i'll show you how to play it in the morning..its too late now..bye.and that bit where i said in mindstorm where theres 6 guitars playing - i am right..jow WILL use a harmoniser in concerts....my guitar teacher told me this and he's knows the same amount about the guitar as joe does

Austin and the rest of you - heres the beginning of Mountain Song:
a3 d5 b4 d5b3 g5 b4 topE3 , and all in one bar..theres 2 guitars playing in the opening..(believe it or not) and heres the other guitar , obviously you cant play them both at the same time... the other guitar part : in 8ths , (quavers) , a3 a5 a4 d5

the crippler joe is touring england...birmingham on july 19th (where i'm going) , manchester and london either side of that show...look in the road section
selphm , play in wich ever position is comfortable to you as long the rest of the strings are muted apart from the one(s) you are playing as to prevent feedback..use your right hand too to mute the strings as well as your thumb on your left hand...there is no set rule to where your fingers should be.....
knightsaber the letters are the strings and the numbers are the frets to play them on..e.g a3 means 3rd fret on the A string and topE3 means 3rd fret on the top E string...its quite simple
