Trutina, right on, man, right on.

As to jstrat, just like i said on the COE boards, you gotta know that a guy like that is on some other plain of existence, just jamming out w/ the already-passed greats.

ummmm... force breast feed... a wolverine?
alright, I can see, force breast feeding SOME things, but a wolverine is just not on that list...
that's like the guy who killed his dad because he cut off their donkey's penis so he could reattach it to himself... okay, so it isn't really... but that's pretty damn hilarious, in a nasty, malicious, moo cluck baa kinda way.

Boyd,
Joe's got a fretless guitar? Sounds interesting... was this a doubleneck? I think I remember something like that, that might be someone else's though...
Any known pics?

Woldeface,
Welcome and: CONGRATS!!! You got your FIRST post answered by Joe! Quite a feat my man!
Thanks to all the folks for the feedback (and even those that just listened) on FoM... it really means a lot to me to hear that my sound fits, especially after remembering back in 2000 when I found the original COE site, heard two songs, and just thought, "wow, I wish I could play with guys like that..."
This is, in the truest sense, a dream come true for me... like Matt said, though, if only I were out in NJ instead of CA...
God, man, there's not even any more gold out here anymore! : P

Sharif,
As a huge Stu fan, I must tell you about the HUGE archive of Stu tabs we have over at the Stu Hamm sites... I've contributed more than half of the tabs found in that section, and you'll find that we really do have an impressive collection going! We are the ONLY website that can say that, I guarantee it!

Sorry about the double post (no I'm not, muahahahaha!!!!), but just to give people some numbers, we've got about 26 tabs, including at least 3 versions of the Stu solo (17 of which are mine.... coughcoughbraggercoughcough).

Hey Joe... got your taxes all squared away?
Hey Joe, what's your biggest deduction for your taxes? Amps? Strings? Non-musical stuff?

Check your LISF... Joe uses three floor pedal delays and a chorus live. Shame on you! ; )
Keep up the music-posting, always cool to hear stuff!

GASP!!! HOW DARE THEY!!! Ash Nazg Durbatuluk,
that would be MY tab of Country Music... I take great pride in being the only intense Stu tabber known... just check the only website I send my tabs to, stuarthamm.net/
I've helped them build up quite a collection.
Anyways, not really any point to this post, just making sure people know that I spend so much time w/ Stu stuff that people plagiarize ME!!!

Matt,
Are you serious? April 25th? Dude, that's my EXACT half birthday!!! lol dude!

For the guy that wanted to get in touch w/ Stu Hamm...
Why do you want to get in touch w/ Stu? I couldn't really just give you his info, but, depending on what it's about, I could put you in touch w/ him. At the least, I can ask him a question for you.

mick87,
Well, I'm not "down w/ Stu" like that, but wouldn't it be cool? I take lessons w/ him though, so I'm in a prime position for communication. Every now and then we talk online, but that's about as "down" as we get outside of lessons : )

Also, just got back from the Patitucci jazz gig at UC Davis... that was some hardcore jazz... good stuff, but quite a change for me! Thanks Boyd, Anuj, you guys are awesome!

Narface,
lol, you in IB too? yeah, I had English HL 3-4 A1 today, i've got paper two next week, then I've got history (paper 1) and french SL on the 13th, history (p 2,3) on the 14th, physics HL 3-4 (p1) the following monday (i think) then the rest of physics the day after, music theory SL is the 22nd.
I did math SL last year, and also physics SL, but they told me the physics would count, which it doesn't... bummer, cuz i got a 6 on it.

JS Clone 1,
For Flight of Mind, do you mean the BASS mix or the mix where Matt played bass?

For the middle... there's bass (w/bass boost if you're listening to my mix, I boost the bass right when it goes to the picked chords before the BIG bridge), Matt's solo, Brett's line, and Matt's rhythm (I think he did that one on keys)...

If you were asking about the mix w/ me, I'm going direct through my Hartke HA3000/4200 Pro. Flatlined the eq, about 75% neck and about 20% bridge pickups (potential, not % of total) and FRESH STRINGS!!!

:: puts on darth vader mask ::
Never underestimate the POWER of fresh strings!

any humorous examples by any chance?

Also... damnit, Rite of Spring... it just kicks so much ass... heh heh, seriously though, the more I listen to it the more I love Stravinsky's stuff.

edit: hey, 250! that's a cool number... not nearly as cool as 1000 though!
