Nose of Sauron,
Bassist here!

has anybody (IUMA users) been noticing trouble uploading stuff lately? Check back at your IUMA page and see if there's stuff there... it's not letting me upload and says something about needing stereo mp3 files. Well, that kinda confuses me, considering I make sure to mix all my stuff in stereo... : (

JS Clone 1,
Not to "swoop in on the rebound" or anything like that... but if you wanna get hold of me I'd be glad to look at that track (assuming you've got almost everything done but bass). Definitely check out who else can do it, though; it would be this weekend before I could record something.

Hey, not sure if someone has posted this here before, but it's funny as hell...

I'm not stating my personal opinion in posting this, but seriously... it's funny.
Go to Google and type in "french military victories" - then hit "I Feel Lucky"

Yeah, it's a joke, but it's creative and made me laugh so damn hard... : )

Matt,
Much congratulations, man! Up to more awesome stuff I see? : )
I'm still working on a press packet, and then I'll be sending it off to a couple of companies... I'll let everyone know if I actually get an endorsement (fingers crossed here...)

Trutina,
Lucky for me, I had already just about finished my tune when I heard about the T2J CD... I sent my CD to Chris, who should be getting it by Tuesday (since I've got to send it 3000+ miles). I think I've sent all my info to Dave, and I've done the self-send copyright thing. I'm pretty sure that I'm set to go.

Mr. Nick,
Every now and then, Dave would ask for a list of people playing, a short biography... just general info about the players and their tracks.

JSC1,
Listened to the track...
I REALLY like what you've done with that song since I've last heard it... Comments: Work with eq'ing it some, the lead part was difficult to distinguish from the other track(s). Liked the harmonies @ around 3:45... very cool stuff. What else are you going to be adding to it (guitar wise)? WIll there be another guitar track on top? Sounds like you've got a great foundation for some real cool stuff.
That ending caught me off guard!
If you're still interested, I could look in to getting a bass track for you (probably get drums first). Cool stuff in all, dude!

hahahahaha... sorry Richard,
I definitely know how that can feel to go out of your way to try something, and then be told to do what you were correcting... Really though, I can't tell for sure until the whole thing is there,

DUDE! JSC1... checking out Christian Alsing... AWESOME STUFF dude! hahahahaha... i'm laughing just listening to it!

Awesome looking guitar, we GOTTA get a conference online so we can hear that thing!
Hopefully I can get an endorsement, it'd be more than awesome for me... I could be like, "Hey, use this, cuz I do!!! Why do I use it? Cuz it rules!"

OOCP... I'm pretty sure Matt got his guitar neck-through.

BASSISTS!!!
I've gotten through enough of Outbound to go ahead and post the tab... it's got the COMPLETE bass line, and the melody will be updated as I tab out more of it... http://www.stuarthamm.net/tabs.php3

on GHS ranking... I love them all soooo much. They all have their different place in my "favorites" list... SMWYCD is definitely for an all around type of thing... it's got chops, licks, and lots of melody (Tanya's Touch, Beyond the Bridge).
The Light Beyond, I just looooove the melodies and solos.
GHS3 has great stuff... more classic fusion.
I can't bring myself to lower these albums by placing my humble opinions upon them! : )

WHOEVER ASKED ABOUT NEW MATERIAL FROM MATT,
I can say that Matt's been working on some awesome stuff... we're hoping to get some more tracks done over the internet like the last one.
I've also been working on this goofy one... the more I play it, the more it sounds like a Cajun Funk!!! Think Jaco meets alligators, craw dads, and shrimp... : )

I'm really excited to see what else comes out of my head to finish it....

Brymstone nice stuff... the effects (phaser methinks) kinda distracted me...
Nick, Getting better each time... do you have music or tab for the song or are you going by ear? Suggestions... watch your bends and your tuning... also, you're trying to play some of those figures too fast for how much you can do with it right now. Always... is at about 130-140 bpm, right? take out a metronome and slow down to 110... then 100... then 90... then 70 (if you slow it down too much right away, it's hard to remember how it's supposed to sound). Work with it like that, and record a take at 80-90 bpm. See how it sounds like that, check if your bends are clearer how your tone is for each individual note...

How many Satchies up near Tacoma, WA (Seattle)?

Just found out where I'm not going for college, so I'm going w/ Puget Sound since I didn't get into Northwestern... how 'bout a quick roll call or something, just to see?

artanis, Greg: I'm not much of a beer connoiseur,
but I believe you may be referring to XXXX (four x)?
If so, then it is popular in Queensland. Basically
each state has it's own favourite (local) brew.
Most of the difference is in the label...

Would that just make it two dos eckes? : )
