If JIMI were still alive, he'd probably overdose for good after reading all this cr@p.

I stopped reading anything but BLUE posts about a month ago. I come upon this huge orange post this morning and say ... "cool, it's been so long since someone from the band had something to say"

This is depressing.

ps - Hi JOE! Hope you liked the shirts! And thank you for the autographed SBM insert!! : )

pss - I've been cyber friends with michele and joan for years and love them dearly.

I haven't posted on here in a loooong time. I had a funny thought for an album or song title (both, if it was up to me) and thought I'd throw it out for consideration .... MOJO. As in "Mo' Joe" ... hehe. :)

Long time no post. I have a quick comment and request: the podcasts are awesome! Would you consider going back and providing similar 1-minute insights for tracks on past albums? Please? Thanks

Long time no post ... like 10 years!

I was the guy who printed up the unlist shirts back in 2000 and 2002.

Looking forward to the new album!

Just stopped in to drop a couple extra Purple Haze verses on you, in case you had planned on that song for a G3 jam in the future ... check it out:

Purple Haze in outer space, the savior of the human race. Aliens from near and far, say "thank you, Jimmy" for your guitar!

Purple Haze is everywhere, what the heck is it? We don't even care. It covers your ears with a purple kiss, listen up! It sounds like this.

One of my personal favorite sing-alongs, so I made these up and I hope you get a kick out of them! Rock on, Joe.

ps ... Hi Michelle! I miss the list. :(

It's funny to get on here and see wolf2 still posting crazy shiat almost 20 years later!

If michelle is still around ... HI MICHELLE!!!

I've moved from Arkansas to Colorado to Alaska. Playing and writing a lot of music these days. Loving life. I've gotten heavily into Kings of Leon and Ed Sheeran, but Joe still has the #1 spot on my favorites list.

Just wanted to get on and say how much I love the new album. It's definitely got my attention, way more than the previous two albums. Favorite song after about 10 listens: Cataclysmic. San Francisco Blue is currently a close 2nd.

Keep up the good work Joe! Hope you are well and loving every minute of this life.

Rob

Michelle!! Was so happy to see your post! But, damn. Those knees! Hope they get back to working order ASAP.

I could not possibly be happier to be out of Arkansas! I loved Colorado, but Alaska is truly amazing. The summer is crazy, all light all the time - and about 70 degrees! And if you like to ski (like me) then it's year-round good times. I'm home!!

We should have an un-list reunion one day. I'll make more T-Shirts!!

BTW, Joe, Crazy Joey was rocking my freaking ears off this morning! LOVE IT!!

I guess Joe stopped posting here a couple years back?? I blame wolf.

I wonder how long this page will stay active?

Those of us with the bookmark seem to be the only remaining T2J'ers.

Any of the old unlist still checking in here? I know Michelle is (hope your knees are better!). I found my old blue unlist T-shirt this weekend and looked through the names on the back. Anyone else here who has one of those unlist shirts should chime in and let us know you're still around.

I've gotten heavily into Kings of Leon and Ed Sheeran as of late. Got to see KOL at Red Rocks last year. Probably the best night of my life so far, but not the best concert. That goes to Joe's 2000 show at the house of blues in Chicago ... mainly due to having back-stage passes (through the contest on this website). Was that really 15 years ago?? Oh, damn.

Pip, are you a Sheeran fan? I found Ed's stuff about a year ago, and now I'm eagerly awaiting news of a 3rd album. I'd love to see Ed and Joe do a collaboration, since Ed pretty much collaborates with anyone who asks (or so it seems).

Also, are you a Kings of Leon fan? I know they hit big in the UK before they hit over here. I can't get enough KOL.

Cheers

Joe, if you ever read any of this ... WTF? Why did you leave poor wolfie to his own devices like this? Imagine what he's doing right now ... I'm sure he's been near to death several times (and his family members are probably dropping like flies), and he's surely invented a new racing sport that involves wheel-barrows full of money. That seemed to me to be the way things were all going to culminate for him.

I might be a little stir crazy. I'm in Alaska, you know. And it's getting dark. But I like to ski, so it's cool. I listen to Joe while I ski ... it's pretty awesome, really.

If this board ever makes it back into circulation, then ... Hello Internet, we missed you. :)

I'm also reading Strange Beautiful Music ... not sure why I hadn't before! Listening to it, actually ... it's on Audible. :)

He goes into some details on individual songs, including a brief mention of Hill of the Skull (can't remember the specifics, sorry). Maybe someone with the text will post it.

I finished the book this morning on the way to work. I think it makes a fantastic accompaniment to listening to his work, for new listeners. And for us - it's just icing on the cake. I could have gone for a much more thorough version myself, but I'm not complaining. :)

I tried listening to all of Joe's vocal tracks in a row. That makes for an interesting album on its own, if you haven't tried it. Enjoy.

So, I was diagnosed with Aspergers a couple weeks ago. I'm 45. I've known I was a bit "special" for a while ... and now I have an official opinion. I think I saw a statistic that only 1 in a 1000 people have it, though I suspect it's actually much more common.

For those who haven't seen Parenthood, Aspergers is basically a really good excuse for acting like an inconsiderate a-hole most of the time. But, those affected are usually quite talented within their targeted obsession area. We tend to withdraw from social groups and into our own routines, and there are all varying levels of severity depending upon how successful the person is at coping with the anxieties that they feel - which are usually centered around social confrontation. The internet makes it way easier to be completely alone and still somewhat social. It's definitely helped me through the years.

Once an Aspergers person comes to the realization that this REALLY IS what is happening to them, then they can start to work through the anxiety triggers and really understand themselves a lot better. Just knowing what is happening is a tremendous weight off the shoulders.

Well, I guess it was my turn to share.

What's happening with everyone else who's still hanging around and checking here for updates?

Looks kinda like you're holding a glowing orb of light over Joe's (yours?) guitar.

Magical powers = impressive. :)
