PhryDom: hummm.....pizza, espresso.....you should visit Italy, the cougharettes are cheaper too! That's because our health service is better, they hope people get earlier their early grave so there are more free beds in hospitals! Hey I'm sure your mum will come back and go to her doctor and say: "WHO wasn't allowed to fly???" :-)
I hope I'm forgiven if my English is not so good, I've got a thick dictionary but it's not easy to use the right words sometimes...
