Thanks for your notes, cool_ice9, /\/\ike, Bil, greg, michelle and anibur and anyone else i missed! The worst thing as far as i'm concerned is that the boss took no details of my regular customers, and so there are a lot of doggies out there who won't get walked this week and his reason for firing me? because i don't make enough money! Jeez..... better off without I reckon
One of my ex-customers has a plaque by their front door... I thought it was some Welsh thing... it says llamedos.... it was only last week that they explained that it's backwards, and a very good attitude to have! I thought it was great - these people are both retired and so (for want of a better word) "normal" looking, it floored me!!! So cool
Spent the evening with some friends, and the guy reckons if I call any of three transport companies in the morning I should have a job by the afternoon.... apparently there are tons of driving jobs around Heathrow, so who knows.... gotta keep my chins up!!!
chris AFAIK Nashville tuning is the same, except the wound strings are replaced with thinner plain ones, which are then tuned up an octave.
